Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine elektrisch schweissbare Kunststoffmuffe mit einem in der Muffe eingebetteten Heizdraht. dessen Enden mit Kontaktelementen einer Steckverbindung verbunden sind.
Für die elektrische Verbindung zwischen einem Stromversorgungsgerät und einer elektrisch schweissbaren Kunststoffmuffe ist es bekannt, eine Steckverbindung zu verwenden.
Diese sind in der Regel kompliziert und aufwendig, da sie aus verschiedenen Teilen gefertigt und mit dem Heizdraht elektrisch einwandfrei verbunden werden müssen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die elektrische Steckverbundung der Muffe so zu gestalten, dass die Verbindung selbst vereinfacht und ein sicherer Kontakt zwischen dem Schweissgerät und der Muffe gewährleistet wird.
Diese Aufgabe wird gemäss der Erfindung dadurch gelöst, dass die Kontaktelemente aus dem in Windungen angeordneten Heizdraht selbst bestehen.
Die Erfindung ist in der beiliegenden Zeichnung beispielsweise dargestellt und nachfolgend beschrieben. Es zeigt:

Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt durch eine teilweise dargestellte elektrisch schweissbare Kunststoffmuffe, bei der die
Kontaktelemente Steckerbuchsen sind.
Die in Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte elektrisch schweissbare Kunststoffmuffe zur Verbindung von Kunststoff-Rohren und -Armaturen weist eine Hülse 2 auf, in die ein elektrischer Heizdraht 3 in Windungen eingebettet ist. Wie aus Fig. 1 und 2 ersichtlich ist, ist der Heizdraht 3 in der Nähe der Innenwandung der Muffe 2 angeordnet.
In Fig. 1 sind die Enden des Heizdrahtes in eine Vertiefung 5 der Hülse 2 geführt und dort in Windungen zur Bildung eines Steckerstiftes 1 angeordnet. Wesentlich ist, dass zur Bildung des Steckerstiftes 1 der Heizdraht selbst verwendet wird.
In Fig. ¯ ist das Ende des Heizdrahtes 3 wie in Fig. 1 ebenfalls zu aneinanderliegenden Windungen angeordnet und bildet eine Steckerbuchse 4. Diese kann teilweise in das Muffenmaterial eingebettet sein.
Die aneinanderliegenden Windungen des Steckerstiftes 1 bzw. der Steckerbuchse 4 können dadurch verstärkt werden, dass sie miteinander verbunden, z.B. verschweisst werden. Zur Verbesserung der Festigkeit kann auch eine nicht dargestellte Metallhülse verwendet werden, an der die Windungen des Steckerstiftes 1 bzw. der Steckerbuchse 4 anliegen.
The present invention relates to an electrically weldable plastic sleeve with a heating wire embedded in the sleeve. whose ends are connected to contact elements of a plug connection.
It is known to use a plug connection for the electrical connection between a power supply device and an electrically weldable plastic sleeve.
These are usually complicated and expensive because they are made from different parts and have to be properly connected electrically to the heating wire.
The invention is based on the object of designing the electrical plug connection of the sleeve in such a way that the connection itself is simplified and a reliable contact between the welding device and the sleeve is ensured.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the contact elements consist of the heating wire itself, which is arranged in turns.
The invention is illustrated by way of example in the accompanying drawings and described below. It shows:

The electrically weldable plastic sleeve shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 for connecting plastic pipes and fittings has a sleeve 2 in which an electrical heating wire 3 is embedded in turns. As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the heating wire 3 is arranged in the vicinity of the inner wall of the sleeve 2.
In Fig. 1, the ends of the heating wire are guided into a recess 5 of the sleeve 2 and arranged there in turns to form a plug pin 1. It is essential that the heating wire itself is used to form the connector pin 1.
In FIG. 1, the end of the heating wire 3 is also arranged in adjacent turns, as in FIG. 1, and forms a plug socket 4. This can be partially embedded in the sleeve material.
The contiguous turns of the plug pin 1 or the plug socket 4 can be reinforced by connecting them to one another, e.g. be welded. To improve the strength, a metal sleeve (not shown) can also be used, on which the turns of the plug pin 1 or the plug socket 4 rest.
