Abstract

Injector for cement during fitting of bone prostheses has a piston and cylinder of poly-(methyl pentene). The cylinder receives the cement and has a nozzle-shaped end outlet opening. The piston rod is guided in a removable cover at the other end of the cylinder, both of a corrosion-resistant metal alloy. The piston and cylinder are sterilisable and disposable.
