Abstract

A dental medicament, primarily for the treatment of pyorrhoea, comprises 96-128 parts by weight each of lentil pulse and catechu and 1 part by weight each of ajowan seed and cardamom seed. The preparation may be used in the form of a powder or paste for brushing on to the teeth. In the Provisional Specification, the medicament is not limited to specific proportions for the four essential ingredients, and the cardamom ingredient is referred to simply as "cardamom."
