Fig. 3 eine Endansicht einer Frontverkleidungsplatte,
The present invention relates to a front panel for built-in tubs, with a front panel panel.
Such front panels are predominantly prefabricated from concrete or steel, with both flat, inclined panels and panels practically having a foot niche being provided. The previous panels have the disadvantage that they can amplify, conduct or cause booming noises, as are common in bathtubs. Attempts have been made to counteract this by dimensioning the concrete slabs accordingly. In addition, there has recently been the subsequent foaming of the cavity under the tub, which is expensive and leads to high costs for repairs to the water fittings.
The invention is based on the object of creating a front panel for built-in tubs which enables the use of prefabricated concrete panels with reduced droning ability and which avoids the disadvantages of known panels.
To achieve the object, the front cladding according to the invention of the type mentioned is characterized in that the front cladding panel has a front, relatively thin concrete slab with crossed ribs protruding backwards and with surrounding edges made of concrete and a rear layer of sound-absorbing material with the ribs of the Has Betoiiplatte receiving grooves.
The thin concrete slab with its edges and ribs forms the supporting structure of the front cladding panel, the relatively thin panel mainly having the task of serving as a base for the ceramic tile covering that is usually used. The ribs and edges in turn form the actual supporting structure for the thin concrete slab. The sound-absorbing layer is thus encompassed by concrete at the front and side, while it covers the thin concrete slab and its ribs from the rear, thus making optimal damping possible. During production, a pre-fabricated sound-absorbing plate with appropriate grooves can be inserted into the concrete formwork, which results in a perfect form fit between the sound-absorbing plate and concrete when the concrete layer is poured.
This has the advantage that the thickness of the two layers can always be matched to one another and the maximum thickness of the front cladding panel can also be determined.
Particularly preferred is an embodiment in which, in addition to insulating pads made of elastically flexible material on the lower edge of the plate, its upper edge also carries such pads for the tub edge, the plate being held away from the tub body by at least two screws passed through the plate and attached to the top edge covering Inner edge of the bead of the tub rim is pressed. The plate is then clamped in place.
Such a plate can be removed again practically at any time with little effort.
The front panel can also be attached to a support structure carrying the tub, e.g. B. be screwed.
With a weight saving of about 50% compared to the previous solid concrete slabs, the front cladding according to the invention can be designed with sufficient strength and with significantly improved droning behavior. The thin concrete slab can be about 1 cm thick and have ribs about 1.5 cm thick and high at the back at a distance of about 10 cm from each other. The sound-absorbing layer can be a foam layer about 3 cm thick and have grooves 1.5 cm deep and wide for the concrete ribs. The concrete edges should accordingly have a total thickness of about 4 cm on the front side.
You can have recesses for receiving sound-absorbing edge coatings. It goes without saying that the concrete parts, ie both the ribs and the edges and preferably also the thin concrete slab, should have steel reinforcement. The foam itself does not generally need to be reinforced, but can also have reinforcement, in particular a protective layer on the back.
The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the drawing, for example. It shows:
1 shows a front view of a tub installed between three walls,
FIG. 2 is a plan view of the tub according to FIG. 1,
3 is an end view of a front trim panel;
Figure 4 is another end view of another front fascia panel;
5 shows a section, broken several times, followed by 45 parallel projection on a larger scale of a plate corresponding to FIG. 4.
The bathtub W of FIGS. 1 and 2 is installed between three walls M1, M2 and M3, with its edge resting on the support elements E shown in dashed lines in FIG. 2 and with its front on its side facing away from the wall M2 by a panel P is closed.
The plate P rests on the floor B supported by three plastic angles 1, while its upper edge (not visible in FIGS. 1 and 2) engages under the edge of the tub W.
The plate P is supported by screws 2 on the tub W in the manner to be discussed in connection with FIG. But you could also (in a manner not shown) attached to the elements E, for. B. be screwed or glued.
The plate can either be equipped with a foot niche F like the plate P 'of FIG. 3, or it can be arranged flat and correspondingly obliquely like the plate P of FIGS. 1, 2, 4 and 5.
The plate P of Fig. 5 is made up of two layers, namely a thin concrete plate 10 with molded ribs 11, upper edge 12, lower edge 13, side edges not shown and a plastic foam layer 20, which has grooves in which the ribs 11 of the Engage concrete slab 10 so that the two layers form a form fit with one another. The edges 12 and 13 and the vertical edges, not shown, of the concrete slab enclose the plastic layer 20 on their end faces.
The lower edge 13 has several recesses 13 'into which the plastic angles 1 are inserted so that the edge 13 does not touch the floor B.
The upper edge 12 is covered over its entire length by a U-shaped soft plastic profile 12 ', which rests on the bead edge W' of the edge of the tub W, while the plastic screw 2 is screwed into a threaded sleeve 2 'of the concrete edge 12 so far, that it rests against the body of the tub W via the washer 12 ″. In the lower area, a cushion 14 made of permanently elastic putty ensures the distance between the plate P and the tub W.
If the plate P were screwed to the elements E of FIG. 2, the support measures just mentioned would be superfluous. The construction of FIG. 5 has the advantage that, in the event of a defect, the entire plate P can be removed by loosening the screws 2, pulling out the plastic angle 1 and pulling the plate P away from the tub at its lower edge 13 and finally can also hang out at the top of the tub.
As indicated by corresponding small circles in Fig. 5, the concrete parts 10, 11, 12, 13 are provided with a reinforcement made of crossing steel bars.
When the load is increased by about half, the resistance to booming vibrations can be multiplied.
