The main patent relates to an attachment for work vehicles for picking up mowed grass, leaves or the like from road verges, which includes a suction fan for moving the goods from the ground to a loading area, on which a suction pipe leading to the ground and a pressure pipe leading over the loading area are attached are closed; This device is characterized in that at the end near the bottom of the suction pipe connected to the suction side of the suction fan, a suction piece supported on the floor with a suction opening directed towards the floor is provided, which is arranged to be automatically movable at least in the vertical direction depending on the shape of the floor.
This ensures that unevenness in the ground can be run over by the suction piece with practically no deterioration in the suction efficiency and the best possible suction of the mown grass from roadside strips is achieved.
After the game Ausführungsbei shown in the main patent, the attachment is arranged at the front of the work vehicle so that the driver can observe the location of the attachment piece and intervene when obstacles occur.
The present invention makes use of the knowledge that the already proposed attachment can also be arranged differently on the vehicle and still have a good overview, so that an operator can intervene as required and change the position and location of the suction piece appropriately.
According to the present invention, the attachment is provided with means to arrange it at the rear of the vehicle, either directly on the vehicle itself - or indirectly on a trailer to be carried by the vehicle. The trailer can be articulated to the vehicle via a trailer axis or in the form of a support frame which is essentially rigidly attached to the vehicle via preferably detachable connecting parts.
It can be seen on the attachment an actuator with which an operator can control the device preferentially from a seat on the attachment from so that existing obstacles can be avoided at the roadside without having to interrupt the suction.
As with the attachment according to the main patent, the movement of the suction piece is independently controlled by the shape of the bottom. As a result, the position of the suction opening relative to the floor does not depend on the current position of the entire attachment or the vehicle, but directly on the shape of the floor in the area to be vacuumed. The movement of the present attachment can also be controlled by the operator using appropriate movement devices.
According to a preferred embodiment, the suction pipe line can be folded down about a substantially vertical axis into a rest position in which it does not protrude significantly laterally beyond the vehicle or its trailer. As a result, the transport of the attachment is not hindered by a laterally protruding suction pipe when approaching the workplace. The suction pipe is advantageously folded down to such an extent that its suction piece rests on the vehicle or trailer in the rest position. However, it can be sufficient if the suction pipe is arranged in its rest position in a plane parallel to the direction of travel, that is to say rests on the side of the vehicle and is fixed there by appropriate fastening devices.
As far as they are compatible with the features of the present invention, features of the embodiments of the main patent can be adopted here. This makes it unnecessary to quote all the variants of the main patent.
It can be advantageous to arrange the suction unit on a trailer with four or three wheels that can be steered by the operator on board. This allows the trailer to make evasive movements independently of the vehicle and to bring the suction piece to the desired location on the verge by controlling the trailer. This is advantageous, for example, when the hydraulic moving parts for the suction pipe have failed.
In the following description, the invention is explained with reference to the drawing, for example. The representations of the drawings show: FIG. 1 the attachment according to the invention on a one-axle trailer in a perspective view, and FIG. 2 an attachment according to the invention on a lifting platform at the rear of the work vehicle in a side view. The attachment shown in Figure 1 comprises a suction fan 1, which is driven by means of the drive motor 2 via the shaft 3 ben. Fan and motor are mounted on a common frame 4, which is slidable on a trailer 41 pulled by the vehicle on the pulling part 40 in guides 28, 29 in the direction of arrow V, i.e. transversely to the direction of travel, by a push cylinder, not shown.
On the suction side of the fan 1, the suction pipe 8 is flanged, which carries the suction piece 9 at its outer end. A cutter bar 11, the drive of which is not shown to simplify the drawing, is attached to the suction piece via the bracket 10. On the pressure side of the suction fan, a pressure pipe 12 is connected, which opens at 13 (Fig. 2) on the loading area 14 of the pulling work vehicle 15. The pressure pipe is rotatably connected at 16 to the pressure-side connection piece of the suction fan. A hydraulic cylinder 17 is widely mounted on the housing of the Saugge blower about the point 18 pivotable.
Its movable part 19 is connected to the horizontal section 21 of the suction pipe 8 via the intermediate piece 20. At 22, the suction pipe is connected to the suction side of the suction fan 1 via a slewing ring. Upon actuation of the hydrau likzylinders 17, the suction pipe rotates according to arrow P about its horizontal axis. This rotational mobility made it possible to raise and lower the suction piece 9 in the vertical direction depending on the unevenness of the ground. When the hydraulic cylinder 17 is vented, the correct rotary position can be set automatically.
At 23, a further slewing ring is installed, which enables the intake piece to be rotated according to arrow F about the rearwardly directed axis of the section 24 of the intake pipe pointing opposite to the vehicle direction and downward.
In Figure 2, the suction piece 9 is shown in a typical towing position. While the vehicle 15 is moving forward, the downward portion 24 of the Saugrohrlei device assumes a predetermined inclination by the shape of the ground of the curb. The suction piece is preferably supported on the floor 26 by means of two runners 25. Each runner 25 is fixedly connected with the suction piece 9 NEN bracket 27 is height-adjustable.
Similar to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, according to FIG. 2, the unit comprising suction fan 1 and motor 2 is mounted in guides 28, 29, 30 in a frame 31, 32 so as to be horizontally displaceable. The horizontal displacement of the intake fan motor assembly can be brought about by a hydraulically or pneumatically acting cylinder, not shown. In a modified or additional embodiment, the horizontal section 24 of the suction pipe can also be designed telescopically and be variable in length by means of a hydraulic cylinder.
The frame 31, 32 is connected to the plate 34 at the rear of the vehicle 15 via the support device 33 formed from the support levers 5 and 6. The inclination of the support lever can be adjusted by means of the hydraulically or pneumatically operating lifting cylinder 7, so that the height of the suction fan motor unit can also be adjusted while the work vehicle is in motion. The lifting cylinder 7 also has a very important function when the attachment is picked up by the work vehicle.
For this purpose, the lifting cylinder 7 is connected via pressure lines to a pressure source, preferably of the work vehicle. The extension of the lifting cylinder raises the support device 33 until it comes to rest on the support device 34 of the vehicle 15 with its lugs 35 when it reaches a certain height. Subsequent lowering of the support device by shortening the length of the lifting cylinder 7 engages the vehicle-mounted receiving device under the nose 35, with conical cutouts in the fahrzeugfe most receiving device a conical design of the lugs 35 can be provided for the zen trating locking.
After the Tragvorrich device and the receiving device are secured in their contact position by screwing or some other connection in their adjacent position, the attachment can then be lifted from the ground by further shortening the cylinder 7 and brought to the desired height. In order to limit the particular stroke of the lifting cylinder 7 to a certain extent required for picking up the attachment, adjustable feet 36, 37 can be attached to the frame of the attachment.
In Figure 2, a seat 42 can still be seen for an operator who can influence the respective position and location of the suction piece 9 and the pressure pipe 12 on control levers (not shown) and by means of corresponding actuating parts.
The holding rod 38 shown in FIG. 1 only serves to secure the suction pipe in a position rotated upwards about the slewing ring 22 and to relieve the adjustment cylinder 17.
