The present invention relates to a method for producing a plastic channel as well as the plastic channel itself produced by this method.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that first a plastic pipe is formed and then the plastic pipe, which is still in the plastic state, is deformed by gradually bringing part of the pipe wall towards the opposite wall until the original pipe has the shape of an approximately U-shaped double wall profile having.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiments of the plastic channel produced by the method according to the invention. In the drawing show:
1 to 6 show some embodiments of the plastic channel according to the invention, shown in section,
7 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the plastic channel provided as a drainage line,
8 and 9 embodiments of the plastic channel and having connecting means
10 shows a possible application of plastic channels similar to the embodiment according to FIG.
According to a certain embodiment of the method, according to which a plastic pipe with a circular cross-section and with the same wall thickness is produced over its entire circumference, plastic channels are produced which also have the same wall thickness over their entire circumference, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 z. B. are shown. Depending on the degree of strength that is to be achieved, the two walls 1, 2 of the double wall of the channel rest against one another. as shown in FIG. 2, or they run at a distance from one another, delimiting a hollow space 3 which is approximately U-shaped in cross section, as shown in FIG.
The two walls 1 and 2 can of course also partially bear against each other and partially run at a distance from each other. Embodiments based on this principle are shown in FIGS. 1, 4 and 5. These embodiments all have two cavities 4, one in each leg of the approximately U-shaped double wall profile, while in the middle part of this profile the two walls 1,
2 rest against each other.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 6 it can be seen that in order to achieve a more stable channel shape, i. H. a greater dimensional stability of the channel cross-section or an increased stability against bending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the channel, the middle zone of the lower wall 2 has a greater thickness than the remaining part of the channel circumference.
This is achieved by a specific embodiment of the method, according to which a plastic pipe with a circular cross section and wall thicknesses of different zones is produced first.
In Fig. 7 a channel is shown which is provided as a drainage or seepage line. In this embodiment of the plastic channel according to the invention, the inner
Wall 1 of the double wall profile is provided with openings 5, which are designed here as slots and serve to introduce liquid media, while the outer wall 2 has no openings and is used to convey the infiltrated medium.
Although the plastic channel according to the invention can be made in any length, it is practical
For reasons of transport it is advantageous not to provide gutters that are too long, but which can be connected to each other thanks to suitable connecting means. In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, the connecting means consist of in the hollow spaces 4 in one end of an exemplary channel
Fig. 1 half inserted and fastened profile rods 6. In the embodiment of FIG. 9, the connecting means consist of an element 7 inserted into the cavity 3 in one end of an example channel according to FIG The shape of the shape of the cavity is adapted, which element also has the shape of an approximately U-shaped, but not necessarily double-walled profile.
Fig. 10 shows how, for. B. channels according to FIG. 8 alternately as a channel and as a tunnel for roofing purposes can be placed side by side and connect with each other. In this example, the free ends of the profile rods 6 protruding from the cavities 4 of the channel do not need to be as long as the sections 9 already glued or welded into the cavities 4. The free ends are connected to one another in pairs, one each from a channel and one from a tunnel, by means of fastening elements 8, which fastening elements are provided with two holes intended to accommodate said free ends.
As can be seen from the examples shown, the U-shape of the double wall profile can consist of a combination of curves of different radii or a combination of straight lines and curves.
One possibility for the practical implementation of the method for producing the plastic channel is described here, for example: A still plastic pipe emerging from the annular nozzle of an extruder is inserted directly into a calibration and cooling sleeve. This calibration and cooling sleeve is designed in such a way that the extrudate still enters the sleeve as a circular product and the cross-sectional shape of the cavity of the calibration sleeve changes continuously from the circular shape to the desired channel shape until the extrudate emerges from the sleeve.
In order to achieve the exact contours and a smooth surface, the extrudate is pressed against the contours and walls of the calibration sleeve by overpressure in the interior of the extrudate or by negative pressure (vacuum) in the calibration sleeve and pulled out of the spray nozzle with the usual extraction devices and through a cooling bath guided so that the object retains the desired groove shape.
The plastic channel according to the invention is preferably suitable as a channel for guiding liquid media, as a support channel for electrical conductors (cable duct) that are accessible at any time or must be laid or replaced at a later date, as a tunnel-shaped cover over electrical conductors (cable cover) or pipelines laid in the ground, as a drainage or seepage line, in that the cavity between the double walls is used as a conveying space for the liquid medium, but the inner wall of the channel is provided with holes or slots for introducing the medium to be abzufüh.
The alternately as
Gutter and laid into and next to each other as a tunnel
Double wall profiles can also be used as roofing material or used as a visual and soundproof wall, where the possibly filled cavity also serves as heat and sound insulation.
