Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht und
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt entlang der Linie A-A in Fig. 1.

The invention relates to a cake divider for cutting cakes into sectors of the same size with a preselected number of pieces.
The sharing of cakes is of particular interest in pastry shops and restaurants, where it is mainly done by trained professionals.
Resourceful experts have made aids in the form of circular cardboard boxes with outlines of different, equally large sector divisions.
Dividing cakes by eye, especially in odd numbers, results in more or less precise divisions depending on your skill.
Sharing cakes with underlaid auxiliary boxes is also unsatisfactory, as finding the center has to be done with a sense of proportion. The use of different boxes with different pitches creates problems of wear, storage and cleaning.
The invention is based on the task of dividing cakes universally according to all common divisions by means of a device.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that a disc has several concentric circular paths with uniform divisions of different numbers of divisions, that the arc parts of the circles are delimited by locking markings, that a locking device can be directed onto the circular paths and that the cake divider has a knife guide.
The latching device can have a sprung ball. The latching markings are preferably formed by hole depressions.
The spring-loaded ball can be mounted on a rotatable spindle.
The number of divisions of the locked circular path can be seen in a backdrop.
The knife guide is preferably adjustable in height.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
Show it:
Fig. 1 is a plan view and
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line A-A in FIG. 1.
The housing 1 is clamped between the two washer screws 2 with the screw 3 and the nut 4. The head of the screw 3 serves as a bearing pin for the washer 5. The washer 5 tracks the four rubber pins
6. The four plastic spots 7 on the side facing away from the housing 1 serve as drivers for the cake that has been placed.
The concentric circles 8 enable the cake to be directed towards the center of the disc 3.
On the side facing the housing 1, locking holes 9 are provided on the circular paths. On the circular path of the largest diameter, the locking ball 10 is locked in one of the twelve locking holes - which are distributed at equal arc intervals of this circular path. The mark 12 can be seen through a gate opening in the housing 1. This marking is stamped on the tongue 11 along with the division numbers of the other circular paths. By means of the rotary knob 13, which is connected to the spindle 14, the latching housing 15 can be shifted to another circular path. The locking ball 10 is thus pressed into a hole in a circular path with a different number of divisions by means of the spring 16. The tongue 11 connected to the locking housing 15 shows the corresponding number of divisions through the link opening.
The spring 16 and thus the locking ball 10 can be set to the desired compressive force by means of the screw 23. The spindle 14 is mounted in the bearings 17 and 18.
The latching housing 15 mounted on the spindle 14 is guided in the slot 19 of the housing 1. The knife guide 20 dips through the housing 1 and is pressed against the U-bracket 22 by means of the adjusting screw 21. The knife guide 20 can be adjusted depending on the height of the cake. By means of a cake knife, which is guided along the slot 24, the cake is now cut into sectors of the same size. The advance takes place by turning the disk 5 into the following locking position.
