Cable car cabin with self-supporting plastic housing
The invention relates to a cable car cabin with a self-supporting plastic housing consisting of an upper part provided with a supporting ceiling and windows arranged next to one another, a lower part with seats, and a door attached to the cabin side.
The need arose for an elegant cable car cabin with high strength and low weight, good insulation against heat and cold, easy repair options and anatomically shaped seats, smooth inner surfaces and easy cleaning options.
This need can be fully met with the cable car cabin according to the invention. It is characterized in that the cabin housing has two transverse metal cross members provided in the supporting ceiling, a front inner shell part and an opposite rear inner shell part, as well as an outer shell composed of a front outer shell half and a rear outer shell half, which is glued to the inner shell parts, that the Inner shell parts are provided with molded seats and with inwardly shaped grooves, which lead on both sides of the rows of seats from the ceiling to under the seats, that each inner shell part is attached to the underside of the associated Z-profile-like metal traverse and is made of glass fiber cords by means of a number of turns,
which run lengthways over the lower leg of the metal crossbar and in the lateral grooves as well as under the seats, is attached to the metal crossbar, and that the outer shell halves cover the top of the Z-profile-like metal crossbars and are partially provided with outwardly shaped arches, the arches of the outer shell halves with the grooves of the inner shell parts form closed reinforcing hollow profile cross-sections, which are also provided as cross-sections of the lateral window posts or door posts.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a cable car cabin in perspective with a view of the front inner shell part,
2 shows an inner shell part in vertical section,
3 shows a cross section III-III through a central window mullion according to FIG. 1,
Fig. 4 shows a cross section IV-IV through the front door post according to Fig. 1,
5 shows a cross-section V-V through an outer window mullion according to FIG. 1,
6 shows a cross section VI-VI through the stiffened bottom edge according to FIG. 1,
7 shows a cross-section VII-VII through the stiffened bottom edge according to FIG. 1.
The cable car cabin with a self-supporting plastic housing is provided with a supporting ceiling 1 from which the cabin is suspended. In the upper part of the cabin, six windows 2 are arranged close to one another. The lower part of the cabin has two rows of seats, each with two seat surfaces 3. A door 4 is attached to the cabin side, which extends from the cabin floor 5 to the supporting ceiling 1 and carries one of the windows 2. The cabin housing (Fig. 1) has two provided in the support ceiling 1 extending transversely to the cabin metal cross members 6, z. B. sheet steel traverses, a front inner shell part 7 and an opposite, identical rear inner shell part 7, and an outer shell composed of a front outer shell half 8 and a rear outer shell half 9.
The outer shell halves 8, 9 are glued to the inner shell parts 7. The plastic parts of the cabin are mainly made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin.
The inner shell parts 7 are each provided with a molded seat row with two seats 3 and with inwardly shaped grooves 10, which lead on both sides of the seat rows from the ceiling 1 to under the seats 3.
Each inner shell part 7 is attached to the underside of the associated Z-profile-like metal crossbeam 6 (FIG. 2) and by means of a number of turns of glass fiber cords 11, e.g. B. by forty windings of ROVING threads 60 end, attached to the metal cross member 6. These cords 11 run longitudinally over the lower leg 12 of the metal cross member 6 and in the lateral grooves 10 and under the seats 3.
The outer shell halves 8, 9 cover the upper side of the Z-profile-like metal traverse 6 and are partially provided with outwardly shaped bulges 13. The walls or the arches 13 of the outer shell halves 8, 9 form, with the grooves 10 of the inner shell parts 7, closed, reinforcing hollow profile cross-sections, which at the same time act as cross-sections of the fixed posts 14 and the door posts 15 (Fig.
3, 4) are provided.
The front window posts 16 also have hollow profile cross-sections (FIG. 5) which are formed by arches 13 in the outer shell halves 8, 9 and grooves 17 of the inner shell parts 7. The grooves 17 of the inner shell parts 7 are made of glass fiber fabric 18, for. B. with a rowing fabric 50/50 reinforced.
The housing wall is equipped with a layer of unidirectional fabric on the grooves 10, 17 of the inner shell parts 7 and on the outer shell halves 8, 9 in the hollow profiles of the window posts 14, 16 or the door posts 15.
The entire seat shell 3 is additionally reinforced with a glass fiber fabric. In the bottom edge 19 of the housing on the inside of the outer shell 8, 9 hard foam cores 20 are glued for stiffening (Fig. 6, 7).
As a variant, the cable car cabin described can be provided with only two seats or with two rows of three seats each.
