Description
Tente pneumatique

Pneumatic tent
The object of the invention is a pneumatic tent, characterized in that it comprises two almost parallel envelopes, flexible and waterproof, arranged inside one another and so as to constitute between them at least one waterproof enclosure. , means inside this enclosure connecting these two envelopes so that the air blowing between them gives them the rigidity and the shape necessary for them to constitute the walls of the tent in a state of use.
In this field are known tents in the form of an igloo, formed by inflatable rings and superimposed, or stiffened using inflatable uprights supporting a flexible envelope.
The present invention aims to combine the main advantages of these two types of known inflatable tents. Indeed, the perfect stability and the good thermal insulation of the tents made by means of inflatable rings are combined with the possibility offered by the tents rigidified by means of inflatable uprights, as for the practically unlimited choice of the shape of the tent.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, two embodiments of the tent, as well as a detail relating to the means of preventing the separation of the two envelopes from one another. For this purpose, either tapes or continuous plies were designed, welded at equal distances and connecting the two envelopes (fig. 1). Fig. 2 shows a type of tent where the two envelopes are connected by ribbons, while fig. 3 shows another type of tent where the two envelopes are connected by continuous layers.
The whole tent can be separated into several inflation zones, so that a possible accidental leakage does not cause it to collapse.
Rings mounted at ground level allow the tent to be fixed directly to the ground, using stakes.
