Fig. 1 einen Anschlag in Draufsicht,
Fig. 2 den Anschlag nach Fig. 1 im Schnitt,
Fig. 4 zeigt die Tür im geschlossenen Zustand.
Stop attached to the inside of a door
The invention relates to a stop attached to the inside of a door.
The aim is to create a stop that can be assembled quickly and easily, is simple to manufacture and can have a long service life. It should also be easy to adjust for setting a desired closing and opening resistance. A door provided with the stop should not be slammed shut and should not z. B. can rattle by drafts.
The stop according to the invention is characterized by a damping lip made of rubber-elastic material, which is intended to come to rest directly or indirectly on a door frame when the door is closed and is thereby bent in the direction opposite to the closing direction, and which lip when the door is closed by friction in this Holds position, and which lip is temporarily pressed together when the door is opened, thereby creating an opening resistance.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a stop in plan view,
FIG. 2 shows the stop according to FIG. 1 in section,
Fig. 3-7 the stop according to Fig. 1 in the assembled state with different positions of the door, and
8 shows a component for fastening the stop, in a perspective representation.
The stop has an essentially right-angled lip 11 and a foot 12, the lip 11 being connected to the foot 12 along one side via a thin area. This thin connection point is achieved by a notch 13 in the position according to FIG. The foot 12 is penetrated by an elongated hole 14. The function of the notch 13 and the elongated hole 14 is explained below. The stop is by means of a screw 16 penetrating the elongated hole 14 on the inside z. B. attached to a cabinet door. A washer 17 is arranged between the foot 12 and the head of the screw 16 (FIGS. 3, 4). The washer 17 has a sharp edge 18, as a result of which the screw 16 is supported on the foot 12.
3 shows the first step in closing the door 15.
The lip 11 is here bent outwards against the closing direction B of the door (direction A). When the stop 11-14 comes to rest on the door post or on the cabinet wall 19, the lip 11 acts like a damper and prevents the door from slamming shut. Fig. 4 shows the door in the closed state. The door is held in this position as a result of the friction between the lip 11 and the wall unit 19. The lip 11 is pressed against the cabinet wall 19 at point C. In order to avoid that the stop 11-14 is pushed away from the cabinet wall 19, the edge 18 of the pane 17 lies pressed in in the foot 12. In FIG. 5, the first step in opening the door 15 is shown. The lip 11 remains in contact with the cabinet wall 19 at point C.
The lip 11 begins to be pressed together, which means resistance to further door opening. The increase in the compression of the lip 11 can be seen from FIG. It is extremely important that the foot 12 remains rigidly attached to the door while the door is being opened, which is brought about by the engagement of the disk held by the screw into the interior of the foot 12. In the representations according to FIGS. 5-8, a somewhat differently designed disk 17a according to FIG. 8 is shown with a screw 16a. This disc 17a has an edge 18a which lies in the rectangular hole 14a (FIG. 6). 7 shows the door position and the position of the lip 11 after the force acting on the door to open the door has overcome the resistance force of the lip.
It was already pointed out at the beginning that the support of the washer 17 or 17a on the screw 16 or 16a and on the foot 12 is necessary for the secure hold of the stop in the correct position in relation to the door, so that the door is in the desired gentle manner can be closed and opened. A flat, known disk, which would be pressed against the foot 12 with one end face, does not provide sufficient hold for the stop in the desired position. The washer 17 or 17a must therefore be provided with a sharp edge 18 or 18a, which is held in the interior of the foot 12 by the screw 16 or 16a.
This protruding into the inside of the foot part of the disc can, for. B. a bend, a bend 18a, an edge 18 or a pin. It is also important that the screw 16 or 16a in the elongated hole 14 can assume different positions so that the stop can be correctly adjusted to the desired position relative to the door 15 or to the cabinet wall 19, according to the desired closing force and the opening resistance.
