Alarm system as burglar protection for a wall element
The present invention relates to an alarm system as burglar protection for a wall element, in particular for a shop window.
Wall elements should not only be understood to mean shop windows, but also other glass surfaces (e.g. in skylights), walls made of wood or similar material, doors (in particular those of cash registers), ceilings, etc.
The alarm system according to the invention is characterized by at least one closed or open current conductor loop which is provided in the area of the surface of the wall element and is operatively connected to a relay, which when it is opened or closed excites the relay in such a way that an alarm device is triggered.
The invention is explained in more detail in the following description in conjunction with the drawing, in which some exemplary embodiments are shown. In the drawing show:
1 shows a first exemplary embodiment of the alarm system with a current conductor loop that is closed and switched directly into the closed circuit of the relay,
Fig. 2 is a section along line II-II in Fig. 1,
3 shows a second embodiment of the alarm system with an open current conductor loop connected directly into the working circuit of the relay,
4 shows a third exemplary embodiment of the alarm system with several closed current conductor loops which are connected to the input circuit of an amplifier, and FIG

5 the arrangement of a closed current conductor loop with considerably increased sensitivity.
The embodiment of the alarm system shown in FIG. 1 of the drawing comprises a closed current conductor loop 3 which is operatively connected to a relay 2 and is provided in the area of the surface of a wall element 1 - in the present case a shop window. This current conductor loop is closed and connected to the in Series to it lying relay 2 to a suitable power source 4, z. B.
a battery, connected so that the armature 2a of the relay 2 through which a quiescent current flows is attracted and the contact plate 2b rests against the empty contacts 2c. The working contacts 2d of the relay 2 are in the circuit of an alarm device 5, which in the present case is designed as a direct current alarm clock and is connected to the same current source 4 as the current loop 3 with relay 2. Instead of a battery, an accumulator, a direct current network or (when using an alarm device that can be operated with alternating current) an alternating current network could be provided as the current source 4; a buzzer, a warning lamp, a horn, a siren, etc. could also be used instead of the alarm clock.
In addition, the current loop 3 with relay 2 could be connected to a different current source than the alarm device 5.
From Fig. 1 it can be seen that when the current conductor loop 3 is opened, the quiescent current of the relay 2 is interrupted, so that the relay armature 2a falls, the working contacts 2d being bridged by the contact plate 2b and thus the circuit of the alarm device 5 is closed; this triggers the alarm device 5. So that the alarm does not only occur when the current conductor loop 3, i. H. after the shop window pane 1 has been smashed, but rather by a strong blow or impact against the shop window pane 1, an adjustable vibration contact 6 can be switched on at any point in the current conductor loop 1.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the current conductor loop 3 is designed as a strip-shaped, wafer-thin metal foil, which can consist of any suitable metal, in particular of copper, aluminum or silver.
FIG. 2, which illustrates a section along line II-II in FIG. 1, shows that the metal foil 3 is made by means of an electrically insulating material 7, e.g. B.
an adhesive film or an adhesive varnish to which the shop window 1 is glued. So that the metal foil is not visible from the street side, a strip-shaped paint coating can be provided between the electrically insulating material 7 and the shop window pane 1, which has at least approximately the width of the metal foil 3; In addition, the free side of the metal foil 3 can be covered by a coat of paint.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, the conductor loop 3 is open and formed by the door of a checkout cabinet, which is the wall element 1, as well as by a paint 8 of conductive paint applied to the surface of the metal checkout cabinet door with an interposed electrically insulating layer 7. The open current conductor loop 3 is switched into the working circuit of the relay 2, the armature 2a of which has dropped out, the contact plate 2b resting on the empty contacts 2c. Current conductor loop 3 with relay 2 are connected to the power source 4. The alternating current network is used to power the alarm device 5 - in the present case an alternating current siren.
In the case of drilling into the checkout cabinet door, the electrically conductive paint 8 is connected to the metal of the checkout cabinet door 1 by means of the drill; H. the previously open Stromieiter loop 3 is closed; The relay 2 is excited by the working current that is now flowing, so that its armature 2a is attracted and the working contacts 2d are bridged by means of the contact plate 2b. This closes the circuit of the alarm device 5 connected to the alternating current network and the siren starts to sound. It goes without saying that the part of the open current conductor loop 5 formed by the electrically conductive paint 8 could be replaced by a metal foil glued to the surface of the cash register door 1 with a current-insulating layer in between.
4 shows a further exemplary embodiment of the alarm system with three closed current conductor loops 3 which are clipped one behind the other and run at least approximately parallel, each of which consists of a wafer-thin, strip-shaped metal foil. These current conductor loops 3 are switched into the input circuit of a transistor amplifier 9, in whose output circuit the relay 2 is located. The direct current network is used to power the amplifier 9 and the alarm device 5. In order to generate a bias voltage for the input circuit of the transistor 9, a voltage divider consisting of two resistors 10, 11 is provided; Resistor 10 can be regulated for precise adjustment of the bias. Another resistor 12 serves as a current limiter.
Each of the current conductor loops 3 provided in the area of the surface of the wall element 1 designed as a shop window pane in the exemplary embodiment shown has a control resistor 13 lying in series with it. The resistors 10, 11 and 13 are matched to one another so that the voltage at the base of the transistor 9 is only slightly below the lock voltage of the transistor 9, so that the latter is not conductive; as a result, no current flows in the output circuit, i. H. the relay 2 is de-energized, its armature 2a has dropped out and the contact plate 2b rests on the empty contacts 2c.
As soon as the upper and middle current conductor loop 3 are connected to one another in a conductive manner by touching the pane 1, for example, the control resistor 13 of the middle current conductor loop 3 is bridged; as a result, the base voltage of the transistor 9 increases up to the lock voltage or beyond, whereby the transistor 9 becomes conductive, a current flows in the output circuit and the relay 2 is excited by this. By tightening the armature 2a, the contact plate 2b bridges the working contacts so that the circuit of the alarm device 5 is closed and the alarm is triggered.
In FIG. 5, a closed current conductor loop 3 in the form of a wafer-thin, strip-shaped metal foil is shown in cross-section in an enlarged representation, in which the response sensitivity is considerably increased by a special measure. The on the wall element 1, z. B. a large shop window, by means of an elastic (and remaining elastic) adhesive film 7 glued metal foil 3 is covered by a hard and brittle protective lacquer 14, which is also connected to the side of the shop window 1. If the large shop window 1 is now strongly bent from the outside in the direction of the arrow x, the protective lacquer 14 and also the wafer-thin metal foil 3 resting on the soft adhesive film 7, which is glued to the protective film 14, tears.
The alarm is triggered as soon as the large shop window 1 is turned in, without the latter being destroyed.
The alarm system according to the invention is of course not limited to the illustrated and described exemplary embodiments! B. capable of numerous modifications with regard to circuit technology, e.g. the current conductor loop can form a branch of a bridge circuit.
