Wettable powders are usually formulated so that they contain 25, 50 or 75% by weight of active ingredient and usually, in addition to the solid carrier, 3 to 10% by weight of a dispersant and, if necessary, 0 to 10% by weight of stabilizers and / or contain other additives, such as penetrants or adhesives.
Dust preparations are usually made up as a dust concentrate of a similar composition to that of a wettable powder, but without a dispersant, and are diluted in the field with further solid carrier material to give a preparation which usually contains 1/2 to 10% by weight of active ingredient . Granules are usually manufactured to have a particle size between 1.68 mm and 0.152 mm (10 to 100 mesh British Standard). They can be produced by agglomeration or impregnation processes.
In general, granules contain 1/9 to 25% by weight of active ingredient and 0 to 10% by weight of additives such as stabilizers, agents for slow release of active ingredient and binders. Emulsifiable concentrates usually contain, in addition to the solvent and, if necessary, co-solvents, 10 to 50% by weight per volume of active ingredient, 2 to 20% by weight per volume of emulsifiers and 0 to 20% by weight per volume of suitable additives such as stabilizers, Means for improving the penetration and corrosion inhibitors. Suspension concentrates are put together in such a way that they represent a stable, non-sedimenting, flowable product and usually contain 10 to 75% by weight of active ingredient, 0.5 to 15% by weight % Dispersant, 0,
1 to 10% by weight of suspending agents, such as protective colloidal and thixotropic agents, 0 to 10% by weight of suitable additives, such as defoaming agents, corrosion inhibitors, stabilizers, agents to improve penetration and adhesives, and water or an organic liquid as a carrier, in which the active ingredient is practically insoluble. Certain organic solids or inorganic salts can be dissolved in the carrier to prevent sedimentation or as antifreeze agents for water.
The inventive agents can contain other Be constituents, for. B. protective colloids such as gelatin, glue, casein, vegetable gums, cellulose ethers and polyvinyl alcohol, thixotropic agents, e.g. B. bentonites, sodium polyphosphates, stabilizers such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, urea, triphenyl phosphate, other pesticides and herbicides and adhesives, e.g. B. non-volatile oils.
Aqueous dispersions and emulsions, e.g. B. Preparations obtained by diluting a wettable powder or an emulsifiable concentrate according to the invention with water are also within the scope of the invention. The emulsions can be water-in-oil emulsions or oil-in-water emulsions and can have a thick mayonnaise-type consistency.

Example 4 Insecticide action The insecticide action of the compounds used in the agent according to the invention was tested as follows: I.
A 0.1% strength by weight solution in acetone was prepared from the compound to be tested and drawn up into a micrometer syringe. Female adult houseflies (Musca domestica) aged 2 to 3 days were anesthetized with carbon dioxide and 1 drop of 1 μl of the test solution was applied to the abdomen. 20 flies were treated. The treated flies were kept in glass cylinders for 24 hours, each of which contained some granulated sugar as fly food. Then the percentage of dead and dying insects was determined.
II. In a beaker, an amount of 0.1 ml of a 0.1 wt. % solution of the compound to be tested in acetone mixed with 100 ml of water. 20 5 to 6 days old mosquito larvae (4th moult) (Aedes aegypti) were placed in the cups and the cups were set aside for 24 hours. The percentage of togenic and dying larvae was noted.
III. The compounds were prepared as solutions or suspensions in water with 20% by weight of acetone and 0.05% by weight of Triton X 100 as wetting agents. The batches contained 0.2% by weight of the test compound. The undersides of leaves of beet and bean plants that had been peeled apart except for this one leaf were sprayed with the solution. The spraying was carried out with a spraying machine that delivered 3.75 1 / a. The plants were brought under the spray jet on a conveyor belt.
Ten cockroach larvae (Plutealla maculipennis) or ten adult 1 to 2 week old mustard beetles (Phaedon cochleariae) were placed on the sprayed leaf of each beet plant, and ten 6 day old lice (Megoura viciae) were placed on the sprayed leaf of each bean plant . The plants were then placed in glass cylinders with a gauze cap at one end. Mortality counts were carried out after 24 hours. IV. In experiments against spider mites (Tetranychus urticae), leaf disks which had been cut out from leaves of the French bean were sprayed as described under III.
One hour after spraying, the disks were populated with ten adult mites. Mortality counts were carried out 24 hours after occupation.
V. In experiments against larvae of the large white cabbage (Pieris brassicae), leaf disks were cut out of cabbage leaves and sprayed in the manner described under III. Ten 8 to 10 day old larvae (3rd stage of development) were placed on the discs and placed in Petri dishes. Mortality counts were carried out 24 hours after occupation.
The results of these tests are shown in Table II, where A means complete kill, B means partial kill, and C means no kill of the test insects.
