Description
Storage rack for bars and tubes The present invention relates to a storage rack for bars and tubes which is particularly suitable for storing steel bars. With this frame, the previously required complicated fastening devices for adjusting the height of the rod support arms are superfluous and the support arms can be easily mounted on the frame or removed again.
In the known frames of this type, the support arm is usually attached to a stand by means of a screw-nut connection and the assembly or removal of the arms is a time-consuming and laborious job.
The disadvantages mentioned are eliminated by the present de invention. The storage rack according to the invention is characterized by a number of frame feet arranged at a mutual distance, a pair of upright stands, the lower ends of which are connected to the middle sections of the frame feet, a fastening bracket connecting the two stands at their upper ends, lower connecting brackets, which form the cross connections between the frame feet, upper fastening brackets connecting the pairs of fastening brackets with one another, a pair of diagonally arranged struts connecting each pair of fastening brackets with the corresponding frame base,
several arms and provided suspension members at the ends of the arms, which allow a detachable suspension of the arms in a practically perpendicular to the uprights Zuord voltage.
The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment example with a design variant of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a side view of such a Lagerge place.
FIG. 2 is a front view of the storage rack according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a plan view of an arm fastened to a stand which carries a bolt for dividing the stored rods, FIG. 4 illustrates the fastening process with the aid of a U-bracket and Fig. 5 shows a variant of the bracket mentioned.
The preferred embodiment of the storage rack shown in Figs. 1 and 2 of the drawing has upper connecting beams 1, and lower connec tion carriers 2, different pairs of vertical uprights 4 and 4 ', each pair of uprights connecting a pair of upper and lower connecting beams to each other at their upper ends by means of mounting brackets 3 and at their .unteren ends via gesture feet 5, the mounting brackets and the frame feet being connected by struts 6.
The lower ends of each pair of uprights 4 and 4 'are attached to the middle parts of the frame feet 5, for example by welding, while the upper ends of the uprights are welded to the mounting brackets 3, which in turn consist of two adjacent Z steel profiles. The upper connecting beams 1 are attached to the mounting brackets 3 of the stand and in a similar manner the lower connec tion carrier 2 are firmly anchored at both ends on the frame feet. Between each two adjacent mounting bracket 3 and frame feet 5 extends diagonally a pair of struts 6, whereby the frame structure is ver stiffened.
In the illustration according to FIG. 2, a storage rack was chosen which has three pairs of stands; the frame could easily be expanded by adding further pairs of stands.
Each stand 4 preferably consists of a U or hollow profile and has a plurality of openings 7 arranged at a mutual distance, which are attached to the opposing flanges of the profile with a view to securing an arm 8.
Each arm 8 also consists of a U or hollow profile, at the outer end of which a lock 9 is placed to hold the stored rods or tubes; at the inner end of the arm 8 a suspension element 11 made of a U-profile is attached, e.g. welded on. The web of this U-profile is wide enough so that the U-profile can encompass the stand 4; Furthermore, the profile has openings in the opposing flanges 10, which can be brought into alignment with the openings 7 of the stand 4. Openings 13 are also provided in the web of the arm 8 (FIG. 3), into which a bolt 14 can be screwed. This bolt may, for example, serve to separate steel rods of different diameters.
To attach an arm 8 on the stand 4, a bracket 12 is preferably used, which is practically U-shaped and with a lengthened leg which has a further extension 12 '(see in particular FIGS. 3 and 4).
The support arms 8 are mounted on the stand 4 as follows. First, two openings 10 of the arm 8 are brought into alignment with corresponding openings 7 of the stand 4. Then the lateral extension 12 'of the clamp 12 is pushed into the aligned openings, as shown in Figure 4 with broken lines. The head part of the clamp is then rotated with a hammer or a similar instrument in the direction of the arrow according to FIG. 4, so that it firmly encompasses the mutually overlapping flanges of the stand 4 and the hollow profile 11. The other arms are assembled in the same way. The arms are dismantled in reverse order.
FIG. 5 shows a slightly modified clamp 20 which has a wider head part 21. With the help of this clamp, a support arm can be attached in such a way that the head part 21 of the clamp 20 rigidly encloses both flanges of the hollow profile 11 together with the flanges of the stand 4.
Thanks to the described construction of the storage rack, the support arms can be mounted on the rack easily and quickly, avoiding the previously usual screw-nut connection.
