Fitting for connecting a water supply or discharge to a liquid pool, in particular a swimming pool
The invention relates to a fitting for connecting a water supply or discharge to a pool intended to receive a liquid, in particular a swimming pool, with a tubular part penetrating the pool wall, having a widened flange part facing the inside of the pool and with an external thread and an inlet Internal thread is provided.
Such fittings are previously known in various designs and are required for installation in basins that, for. B. are designed as concrete basins, prefabricated basins or liner basins, for each of these types of execution of a basin, the use of a fitting adapted to the respective design was required. It was also necessary to provide special accessories for such a fitting in different embodiments. These accessories include e.g. Link plates, ball valves, hose connection pieces or the like. Since these accessories also had to be available in different embodiments corresponding to the respective embodiment of a fitting, the development, production and storage costs were thereby increased considerably.
Also, the installation of individual accessories has so far often not been satisfactory from a technical point of view.
Proceeding from this, the invention was based on the object of designing a fitting of the type mentioned at the beginning so that the basic elements of the fitting are suitable for installation in each of the previously known embodiments of a basin and that the design of the accessories differs from the existing embodiment of the basin are independent. This should be achieved with simple means with the best possible interchangeability of the individual fitting parts.
To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention that the tubular part has bearing surfaces extending into the interior thereof and that the flange part is provided with screw holes distributed around the circumference.
A fitting designed according to the invention can be used in any type of pool. The tubular part is passed through the opening provided for this purpose in the respective basin. An attachment of the tubular part in the respective basin can be done either with the help of a lock nut or with other auxiliary elements screwed onto the external thread, and the screw holes provided in the flange part and the bearing surfaces protruding into the interior of the tubular part allow any installation and attachment Accessories in a simple manner, which will be described in detail below.
So is z. B. conceivable that a pipe bushing provided with an internal thread is screwed onto the external thread of the tubular part, which has attachments engaging the pool wall on its outside. Such a design is particularly suitable for the installation of the valve in concrete basins, whereby the approaches of the pipe penetration can be poured into the concrete.
If the fitting is to be used in a liner basin, it is advantageous according to a further proposal if a flange ring which presses the foil against the flange is placed on the flange of the tubular part. The screw holes provided in the flange part are used to fasten the flange.
A hose connector can be used particularly favorably in the fitting if it is provided with a radial shoulder resting on one side on the bearing surfaces and if an externally threaded ring nut is screwed into the inner thread of the tubular part, which is screwed into the opposite side of the Approach engages so that the hose connector is held from both sides in the axial direction.
A ball valve can also be used in a fitting designed according to the invention in a technically very satisfactory manner. For this purpose, the bearing surfaces can be chamfered or spherical on at least one side, on which the spherical nozzle inserted in the tubular part rests; It is expedient to screw an externally threaded ring nut into the tubular part, which also has beveled or spherical bearing surfaces on the inside and engages the side of the spherical nozzle opposite the bearing surfaces of the tubular part. In this embodiment, the ball nozzle itself can have a spherical outer circumference, since projections, attachments or the like required for holding it are not necessary.
In this way, a particularly large pivoting range of the ball nozzle is achieved, which in known fittings always had to be inserted into the fitting with an annular holder which increases the technical effort and reduces the pivoting range.
A blind plug provided with an external thread or a link disk provided with an external thread can also be easily inserted into a fitting designed according to the invention, the design of these accessories also being independent of the design of the respective basin. A link disk suitable for installation in the valve according to the invention is advantageously designed in such a way that it consists of an upper and a lower disk-shaped part, each provided with slots, that these parts are mounted so that they can be rotated relative to one another and that the lower part has a threaded piece provided with an external thread, which engages in the internal thread of the tubular part.
The extension of an inlet shell, which is provided with an external thread, can just as easily be inserted into the internal thread of the tubular part.
It is particularly advantageous if the bearing surfaces are formed by stops protruding into the interior of the tubular part over approximately half the length of the tubular part. In this position, the stops can be used both for installing accessories on the side of the fitting facing the interior of the pool and for inserting connecting pieces or the like on the opposite side of the fitting.
Further considerable advantages result if, according to a further proposal, the bearing surfaces are designed as cams distributed over the circumference. When the fitting is inserted into a basin, these cams can serve as stops on which a tool can simply be attached without it being necessary to screw e.g. B. to apply a pair of pliers to the widened flange of the valve, the latter can be easily damaged. The cams offer further advantages in the event that a ball nozzle is used in the fitting. Since the cams form defined support points with respect to the spherical outer surface of the spherical nozzle, a particularly good holding effect is achieved so that the spherical nozzle cannot be adjusted by the pressure of the water flowing through it.
Another advantage of the fitting designed according to the invention is that it is suitable for production from any material; it can be e.g. Use chrome-plated brass, stainless steel, plastic or the like equally well, a cast version also being conceivable.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to a drawing. Show in detail:

The tubular part 1 shown in Fig. 1 has an annular flange 2 on its side facing the inside of a basin (not shown). The inside of the tubular part 1 is provided with an internal thread 3, while the outside has an external thread 4. In the interior of the tubular part 1, inwardly projecting cams 5 are arranged approximately halfway along the length, which cams serve as assembly and / or holding cams and can be provided in any number. In the present case there are four cams 5. Over the circumference of the flange 2 screw holes 6 are distributed at an even distance, which are designed as threaded holes. The tubular part 1 is designed as a cast piece.
If the tubular part 1 according to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is to be inserted into a concrete wall 7, a pipe bushing 8 is first let into it, as shown in FIG. 3. The pipe lead-through 8 has an internal thread 9 which corresponds to the external thread 4 of the tubular part 1. The latter can thus be screwed into the pipe lead-through 8 in the manner shown in FIG. 3, after which a plastic film 9a serving as a lining for the basin is placed over the flange ring 2 of the tubular part 1. A seal 10 and a flange ring 11, which is held by screws 12 inserted into the screw holes 6, are placed on the flange and the plastic film 9 a.
As can be seen from FIG. 4, the fitting can also easily be inserted into a simple concrete basin. The sealing effect is then achieved solely by screwing the tubular part 1 into the pipe lead-through 8, if necessary using an additional sealing material.
The insertion of the tubular part 1 of the fitting into a basin wall 13 of a prefabricated basin takes place in the manner shown in FIG. 5. A sealing ring 14 or 15 is placed on both sides of the basin wall 13, of which the sealing ring 14 forms a seal between the Manufactures the underside of the flange 2 and the pool wall 13, while the sealing ring 15 is used in a corresponding manner as a seal against the underside of a lock nut 16.
The illustration according to FIG. 6 shows that a hose connector 17 can also easily be inserted into the tubular part 1. The hose connector 17 is provided with an annular shoulder 17 a, which rests on the bearing surfaces formed by the cams 5 and is held on them by means of an annular nut 18. The latter is provided with an external thread which is adapted to the internal thread 3 of the tubular part 1. Recesses 19 are provided on the circumference of the ring nut 18, which make it easier to tighten the ring nut 18. Of course, the hose connector 17 could also be used in the same way on the other side of the tubular part 1, if this is necessary.
As can be seen from the illustration according to FIG. 8, a spherical nozzle 20 can also be inserted into the tubular part 1 of the fitting, which is provided with a central bore 21 serving as a passage. An annular nut 22 adapted on its inside to the shape of the ball nozzle 20 is provided with an external thread which corresponds to the internal thread 3 of the tubular part 1. The ball nozzle 20 is therefore first placed on the cams 5 of the tubular part, after which the ring nut 22 is screwed in.
To make screwing in easier, recesses 23 are distributed around the circumference of the ring nut 22. Before screwing in, the ball nozzle 20 can be set in the desired direction, the possible pivoting range being kept as large as possible by a conical extension on the inside of the ring nut 22. The cams 5 also have a bevel on their bearing surface which is adapted to the outer shape of the ball nozzle 20.
The blind stopper 24 shown in FIGS. 10 and 11 is suitable for closing the fitting. It is provided with an external thread 24 a which corresponds to the internal thread 3 of the tubular part 1.
Furthermore, an adjustable backdrop, which consists of two disk-shaped parts 25 and 27, can also be used in the fitting. The disk-shaped part 25 has a plurality of radial slots 26, while the lower part 27 is provided with radial slots 26a provided in a corresponding arrangement. An external thread 28 on the disk-shaped part 27 is used for screwing into the internal thread 3 of the tubular part 1.
A screw 29, which is threadless in the area of its screw head, serves as the axis of rotation for rotating the parts 25 and 27 relative to one another.
As a further component of the fitting, an inlet shell 32 provided on lugs 30 with an external thread 31 is shown in FIGS. 14 to 16.
Two lugs 30 are provided here, which are diametrically opposed to each other and whose external thread 31 is adapted to the internal thread 3 of the tubular part 1.
