Fig. 4 eine Einrichtung zur Kontrolle der Informationsübertragung.
B2, A bzw.
Bn ... würden in gleicher Weise arbeiten.
Die Speicher A bzw.
Control device for lighting systems, in particular lighting control systems for theaters or television studios
The invention relates to a control device for lighting systems, in particular lighting control systems for theaters or television studios, with lighting circuits controlled by amplifiers.
It is known that in stage lighting systems, the change in the brightness of the individual lamps is achieved by changing their supply voltage. The individual lighting circuits are amplified, such as transducers, thyratrons, etc.
controllable semiconductors connected upstream. These amplifiers are controlled individually, in groups or in total according to a predetermined lighting program.
It is necessary that a predetermined control variable greater than or equal to zero of each lighting circuit can be faded to another preset control variable at a controllable speed. The lighting program requires that several or all of the lighting circuits can be faded to the preset values at the same time.
For this purpose, interlockings with voltage cross-fading are known, in which the cross-fading takes place by adjusting a voltage divider. In addition, a cross-fading system has been proposed which works with variable pulse widths.
The cross-fading takes place in manual operation between two potentiometers or two digital memories, which are provided for each lighting circuit.
Manual operation is understood to mean setting the potentiometer by hand or manually actuating the memory switches.
The disadvantage of the known designs, however, is that those lighting circuits must also be preset that should not change during the cross-fading. This disadvantage leads, in particular, to a great deal of presetting work when only a few lighting circuits are to be changed while a basic mood illuminated with many headlights is to remain. The partial fading through the use of several lines was able to partially eliminate this disadvantage, but makes such a system very confusing to operate.
The purpose of the invention is to create a control device in which only the lighting circuits to be changed have to be preset.
The object is achieved in that, according to the invention, the receiving digital memories can be connected to the associated transmitting digital memories either simultaneously by bus lines and switches or can be connected one after the other or in groups by lines and switches and a scanning device, the switches also being connected to a bus line via diodes Deletion related to the receiving digital memories. In this way, the values contained in the memories that are in operation can, if necessary, be used to preset the next lighting scene. There are also possible combinations, such as the all-round deletion of the receiving digital memory. The switches are expediently designed as buttons or are connected to a fader that performs a light change.
According to one embodiment, a contact of the sending digital memory can be designed as a changeover contact, which is connected with its fixed connection to the coil of the relay and the connection of the changeover contact can be routed via an additional diode to a bus that is used to erase the receiving digital memory is provided via a contact of the button to the opposite potential compared to the activation. It is advantageous to arrange several voltage sources so that their number corresponds to the number of memories provided for each lighting circuit. Furthermore, additional bus lines can be connected to the memory via switches and diodes. The memory elements of the individual memories are each connected by lines which are blocked on both sides by diodes.
The already mentioned scanning device can consist of a counting chain or a shift register. The switch connected to the scanning device is preferably connected to switching disconnectors, one pole of which leads to input lines and the other poles of which are connected to the input device.
Embodiments of the subject invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a control device for lighting circuits with 2 memories and a voltage source.
Fig. La shows a possible circuit for the combination of information transmission and deletion.
Fig. 2 shows a control device for lighting circuits with 2 or more memories and several voltage sources.
Fig. 3 shows a control device for lighting circuits with 2 or more memories and successive information transmission and
4 shows a device for controlling the transmission of information.
In FIG. 1, to simplify the illustration, the digital memories A1 and B1 are shown with only 3 memory elements, in this case with 3 relays 1 to 3 or 1 'to 3'. The memories control the amplifier of the lighting circuit in question in a known manner.
The memories can also control the movement of light sources, for example headlights, or the change in color.
The memory is set by the input devices 4 or 4 'via the input lines 30 or 30' and the contacts 5 or 5 'closed for this purpose, e.g. the positive or negative potential is applied to the relay coils in a known manner. The self-holding takes place via resistors 6 and 6 'through self-holding contacts la to 3a or la' to 3a '. The current paths with the self-holding contacts la to 3a or la 'to 3a' receive the plus potential via normally closed contacts of the buttons 9 and 9 'and bus lines 10 and 10' and diodes 7 and 7 '. The buttons 9 and 9 'are designed as buttons with contact overlapping, i.e. the normally closed contact only opens when the normally open contact has closed and vice versa.
If the memory A1 is to accept the information from B1, the button 9 is actuated and the memory A1 is cleared by releasing the self-holding la to 3a. The bus line 11 is thus connected to positive potential and the information is transmitted via diodes 8 'and the contacts lb' to 3b 'of the relays 1' to 2 'of the memory B1 corresponding to the values entered by the input device 4' and thus closed. The switching status of relays 1 'to 3' is thus transferred to relays 1 to 3. The transfer from memory A1 to B1 takes place analogously by switching the button 9 'to bus lines 11', the diodes 8 and the now closed contacts 1b to 3b of the relays 1 to 3.
All storage tanks A3 or B2, A or
Bn ... would work the same way.
Figure la shows a circuit possibility of a memory element of FIG. 1 for a combined information transmission and deletion. The contact l'b is designed as a changeover contact, with its rest side via an additional diode 13 ', a bus 12 and. a working contact of the button 9 is applied to the minus pole for deletion. The self-holding line 10 is at the fixed plus potential. This circuit is particularly suitable for building the control device with polarized or similar relays.
In Fig. 2, a control device for 2 lighting circuits with 2 memories is shown. In contrast to FIG. 1, this can be expanded to any number of storages without difficulty. A separate voltage source 14 or 14 'is provided for each storage. The memory u. their settings are carried out analogously to FIG. In addition, diodes 15 and 15 'are built into the self-retaining paths and the associated self-retaining paths of the memory of a lighting circuit are connected by lines 11a to 11c.
If the memories A1, A2, ... accept the information from EI, B2, ..., the button 9, which is also designed as a button with contact overlapping, is actuated. In this way, the minus pole of the voltage source 14 is separated from a collecting line 20 and the self-holding of all memories Al, ...... is canceled. At the same time, the bus 20 is connected to the minus potential of the voltage source 14 'via a diode 19.
As a result, from the plus potential of the busbar 10a 'via the diodes 7' and the values entered by the input control 4 'and thus closed contacts la' to 3a ', the lines lla to llc, the diodes 15, the resistors 6 and the relay coils 1 to 3 flow a current. Relays 1 to 3 pick up according to the switching status of relays 1 'to 3' and the information transfer is complete. The transfer from the memories A1; An ... to B1; Be ... takes place analogously, a bus 21 being connected to the minus potential of the voltage source 14 via a diode 19 '.
3 shows a control device for m n lighting circuits with two memories, the number of memories being able to be increased as desired without difficulty. In contrast to FIGS. 1 and 2, the information is transmitted for the individual lighting circuits not simultaneously, but one after the other. To shorten the transmission time, the lighting circuits are divided into m groups with n circuits each. The memories A and B are analogous to FIG. 1, but without the additional transmission elements such as the diodes 7; 8th'; Contacts 1b 'to 3b' or diodes 7 '; 8th; Contacts 1b to 3b built up and adjustable by input devices 4 or 4 '.
If the memories All to Arnn are to accept the information from B11 to Bmn, all memories A are first cleared by pressing button 9 to disconnect the bus from the plus potential and thus cancel the self-holding.
By subsequently pressing a button 23, the input lines 30 or
30 'of the input devices 4 or 4' separated from them and the input lines 30; 30 'the memory A; B connected in groups.
At the same time, a scanning device 22, consisting of a counting chain or a shift register, begins with All to Am1 and B11 to Bml and finally with Anl to Amn and Bln to Bmn the associated memories A and B via the closed contacts 5 'and 24' or 24 and 5 to connect.
Analogously to FIG. 1, the transfer from a memory B to A takes place by applying the plus potential to the relay coils via diode 7 ', closed contacts la' to 3a ', resistors 6', contacts 5 ', 24', 24, 5 1 to 3 is placed.
The deletion and transfer of information can also be combined by connecting a device between the switching disconnectors 24 and 24 'which, similar to FIG. 1 a, applies a fixed positive or negative potential to the receiving memory, for example via switching contacts.
In Fig. 4, a corresponding control device is shown. By alternately pressing buttons 25 and 25 ', the differences in brightness of a control lamp 28 provided for each lighting circuit can be used to monitor whether significant errors have occurred in the transmission of information.
The buttons 25 and 25 'feed through bus lines 29 to 29' diodes 26 and 26 ', contacts 1c to 3c and
lc 'to 3c' of the relays 1 to 3 or 1 'to 3', resistors 27 and 27 'the control lamp 28. The resistors 27 and 27' are graded according to the code of the memory.
As can be seen from the above, the values contained in the memories that are in operation can, if necessary, also be used to preset the next lighting scene. There are also possible combinations, such as the sole deletion of the receiving memory.
If the contacts of the sending digital memory are designed as changeover contacts, the deletion and information transfer can be combined by applying a potential opposite to the activation to the relevant memory elements via the contacts of the changeover contacts that are closed in the idle state.
Furthermore, the self-holding contact of each memory element can also be used simultaneously for the transmission of information by providing a number of voltage sources corresponding to the number of memories provided per lighting circuit. Each voltage source feeds 2 collecting lines to which the self-holding paths on the one hand and the relay coils on the other hand are connected.
In order to reduce the circuit complexity per lighting circuit, the sending and receiving digital memory of a lighting circuit can also be briefly connected via the bus lines provided for several or all lighting circuits. For this purpose, the individual lighting circuits are addressed one after the other, for example by a counting chain or a shift register.
The collecting lines are expediently identical to those for setting the memory using the input device.
To shorten the transmission time, a division into m groups of, for example, N = 2k - 1 lighting circuits with k = 1,2,3 ...
In addition to storing the brightness, the digital memories can also be used to remotely control the movement of the light sources, for example the headlights, or to control the color disc changer.
Furthermore, a control lamp can be provided for each lighting circuit to check the information transfer and to display other functions.
