Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf die Tasche,
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach der Linie III-III der Fig. 2.
Device for turning cheese loaves
The invention relates to a device for turning cheese wheels moving along a transport path, consisting of a pocket pivotable about a horizontal axis, into which the cheese wheel can be inserted from one side and is supported on the bottom of this pocket during turning.
During the production and ripening of the cheese wheels, they have to be turned over several times so that they are of the same quality from the top as well as from the underside and especially on the inside. Since a cheese wheel can weigh almost 100 kg, turning the cheese wheel by hand is out of the question.
Pocket-like devices have therefore been developed into which the cheese wheel is guided from the transport path through the open side of the pocket.
The cheese wheel with the pocket is then turned around a horizontal axis about 1800 and then removed from the pocket and moved onto a transport track. The bag is turned back so that a new wheel of cheese can be put back into the bag. However, this idling is uneconomical because it unnecessarily delays the other treatment steps, such as removing the cheese cover, washing and salting the cheese wheels.
The invention is based on the object of creating a device with which the cheese wheels can be turned over faster than before.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the pocket bottom can be moved from one side of the pocket to the other in the transport direction of the cheese wheels. The pocket according to the invention does not then have to be turned back empty, but rather a wheel of cheese lies in the pocket during each turn around 1800.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the pivotable pocket is arranged between two transport tracks for the cheese wheels that the cheese wheel following the turned cheese wheel advances the bottom of the pocket to the opposite side of the pocket and thereby also pushes the turned cheese wheel out of the
2 pocket. Slides are arranged at the ends of the bottom of the bag and move along guides in the side plates of the bag.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to a drawing. Show:
1 shows the device according to the invention in a side view with a section through the pocket,
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the bag,
FIG. 3 shows a section along the line III-III in FIG. 2.
The turning device according to the invention consists essentially of the side plates 1, which are connected to one another by means of an enclosing support frame 2. The support frame 2 is supported on a pivot axis 3. This pivot axis 3 is mounted in a frame (not shown) and is driven, for example, by an electric motor. Roller tracks 4 and 5 are attached to the side panels 1 and the support frame 2 and together with the side panels 1 form a pocket. The pocket bottom 6 forms a transverse plate which has a slide 7, pin, guide roller or the like at each of its ends. These slides 7 slide in the guides 8 of the side plates 1 along.
According to FIG. 1, the bag according to the invention including the cheese wheel 9 located therein has just been turned around 1800. The cheese lid 10, which is generally made of wood, is now on the cheese wheel 9. A previous cheese wheel 11 is just moving away on the conveyor belt 12 and the next cheese wheel 13 is being pushed by the conveyor belt 14 into the pocket. As soon as the cheese wheel 13 touches the pocket bottom 6, this and the cheese wheel 9 are shown in arrow or
Pushed the transport direction. When the pocket bottom 6 has reached its end position, the cheese wheel 9 has hit the conveyor belt 12 and the cheese wheel 13 has been guided into the pocket. Now the pocket with the cheese wheel 13 is swiveled again around the axis 3 by 1800, after which a new cheese wheel can be inserted into the pocket and at the same time the cheese wheel that has just been turned over can be removed from it. The invention of course allows different embodiments. It is possible that the electric motor that rotates the pocket around axis 3 is controlled by limit switches. These limit switches can for example be arranged at the ends of the guides 8 in such a way that they switch on the electric motor when the slides 7 reach their end positions.
In the rest position, the pivoting device according to the invention can tilt in the transport direction of the cheese wheels, the cheese wheel located therein sliding out of the pocket due to gravity when the pocket has been pivoted through 1800. In this case, the conveyor belt 12 should be lower than the other conveyor belt 14.
