  Zusammenklappbare Palettschachtel aus Wellkarton oder imprägniertem Festkarton
Zusammenklappbare Palettschachteln aus Karton mit verstärktem Boden sind bekannt. Diese bestehen aus mehreren Teilen, welche durch Heftungen oder Klebungen miteinander verbunden sind.



   Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft nun eine besonders einfache, auf bestehenden Maschinen herstellbare Palettschachtel aus Wellkarton oder imprägniertem Festkarton, welche dank ihrer besonderen baulichen Ausbildung bei geringstem Zeit- und Kostenaufwand herstellbar und zusammenklappbar ist.



   Gemäss der Erfindung wird dies dadurch erreicht, dass sämtliche Wand-, Deckel- und Bodenteile sowie die beiden äusseren Abstützbalken auf der Unterseite des Palettschachtelbodens aus einem einzigen Kartonzuschnitt von rechteckiger Grundform bestehen, der mit entsprechenden Falzlinien versehen ist, und dass zur Verstärkung der Abstützbalken Einlagen entweder miteingewickelt oder eingeschoben sind.



   Die erfindungsgemässe Palettschachtel ist zweckmässig nieten- und   heftklammerfrei    und daher bedeutend billiger in der Herstellung.



   In der Zeichnung sind zwei beispielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigen:

   Die dargestellte zusammenklappbare Palettschachtel besteht nach Fig. 1 bis 4 aus einem einzigen einzigen, in Fig. 1 gezeichneten Wellkartonzuschnitt, bei welchem die   Wellrillen    des Wellkartons in der Höhenrichtung der Schachtel bzw. quer zur Längsrichtung des Zuschnittes verlaufen. Die Seitenwandteile 1, 2, 3, 4 des Zuschnittes sind durch Falzlinien 6 gegeneinander abgegrenzt. An die Seitenwandteile sind oben durch Falzlinien 5 die Deckelteile 11, 12, 13, 14 angefalzt, während unten durch Falzlinien 5 die Bodenteile 21, 22, 23, 24 angefalzt sind.



  Die aussen liegenden Schmalseitenkanten 7 und 8 werden unter Schliessung des Zuschnittes gegeneinander gestossen und durch ein Klebband 9, wie Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen, fest miteinander verbunden. Der Schachtelboden wird durch drei übereinanderliegende Lagen gebildet, wobei der Bodenteil 23 die innere Bodenlage, der Bodenteil 21 die äussere Bodenlage und die Bodenteile 22, 24 je zum Teil die Zwischenbodenlage bilden. Je angenähert die Hälfte des Teiles 22 bzw. 24 bilden durch Falzlinien 5 gegeneinander abgegrenzte Streifen 2' bzw. 4' zur Bildung der Abstützbalken der Palettschachtel, während die andere Hälfte der Teile 22, 24 die Bodenzwischenlage bilden. Die Streifen 2' bzw. 4', nach Fig. 2, der Bodenteile 22, 24 ergeben durch rechtwinklige Abbiegung in den Falzlinien 5 je einen Vierkanthohlbalken, die in Fig. 3 wiederum mit 2' bzw. 4' bezeichnet sind.

  Dabei wird der Aussenwandteil der Vierkanthohlbalken 2', 4' durch eine entsprechende Erhöhung 4' der Schmalseitenwandteile 2 und 4 gebildet. Die schmalseitigen Randpartien des äusseren Bodenteiles 21 bilden von diesem abgetrennte Zungen 21', welche in der Ebene der Bodenzwischenlage 22, 24 liegend, als Distanzhalter für den zur Seitenwand 2 bzw. 4 parallelen inneren Wandteil 2' bzw.



  4' des Abstützbalkens dienen, siehe Fig. 2 und 3. Der als äussere Bodenlage dienende Bodenteil 21 wird zum Schluss auf die Teile 22, 24 der Bodenzwischenlage geklappt und an seinem Aussenrand durch Klebbandstreifen 15 mit der Breitseitenwand 3 fest verbunden.



   Mit 10 (Fig. 3 und 4) sind Winkelprofil aufweisende, in die hohlen Abstützbalken 2', 4' einzuschiebende und  in eingeschobener Stellung die Abstützbalken verstärkende Einlagen bezeichnet, welche ebenfalls aus Wellkarton hergestellt sein können. Bei Palettschachteln für schwerere Versandgüter können als Verstärkungseinlagen für die Abstützbalken 2', 4' auch Vierkant-Holz- oder Hartschaumstoffbalken usw. verwendet werden, welche beim Zusammenstellen der Schachtel in die hohlen Abstützbalken 2', 4' eingewickelt werden.



   Zwecks Erstellung der Schachtel aus dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Wellkartonzuschnitt, werden zuerst die Seitenwände 1, 2, 3, 4 in die Falzlinien 6 rechtwinklig zueinander abgebogen und die beiden Aussenkanten 7, 8 unter Schliessung des Zuschnittes durch ein Klebband 9 miteinander verbunden, so dass die Seitenwandteile einen in sich geschlossenen Körper gemäss Fig. 2 und 3 bilden.



  Nun wird der innere Bodenteil 23 um die Falzlinie 5 rechtwinklig abgebogen. Auf die Aussenseite des Bodenteiles 23 werden alsdann die Distanzhalterzungen 21' im rechten Winkel eingeschlagen. Anschliessend werden aus den Bodenteilen 22 und 24 durch rechtwinkliges Abbiegen der Streifen 2' und 4' in den Falzlinien 5 die beiden äusseren Vierkanthohlbalken 2', 4' gebildet und die verkürzten Bodenteile 22, 24 der Aussenseite des Bodens 23 angelegt. Zur Sicherung der Bodenzwischenlage 22 und 24 wird der der Aussenlage entsprechende Bodenteil 21 auf die Bodenmittellage gemäss Fig. 2 eingeklappt und schliesslich die Aussenkante des Bodenteiles 21 durch Klebbänder 15 mit der Seitenwand 3 festverbunden.



  Nach Einschieben der Versteifungsprofile 10 in die Hohlbalken 2', 4' sind die letzteren voll tragfähig und die Schachtel ist benutzungsbereit.



   Für schwere Versandgüter eignet sich besonders die in Fig. 5 bis 9 dargestellte Ausführungsform der Palettschachtel. Bei dieser Ausführungsform weist der Wellkartonzuschnitt ebenfalls rechteckige Grundform auf, wobei die Seitenwände 1, 2, 3, 4 und die an letztere angefalzten Deckelteile 11, 12, 13, 14 gleich ausgebildet sind, wie in der ersten Ausführungsform. Der innere Bodenteil 23 entspricht in seiner Länge und Breite wie in Fig. 1 der Grundform der Palettschachtel. 9 ist der die beiden Aussenkanten der Seitenwandteile 1 und 4 miteinander verbindende Klebstreifen. Die zur Bildung der zwei äusseren Abstützbalken 2', 4' dienenden Bodenteile 22, 24 sind hier zur Ermöglichung der Aufnahme eines dritten, in der Mittellage zwischen den beiden äusseren Balken 2', 4' liegenden Abstützbalkens 26' entsprechend verkürzt ausgebildet.

  Vom äusseren Bodenteil 21 sind beidseitig und in der Mitte drei Distanzhalterzungen 21' abgetrennt, so dass sie nur noch mit dem äusseren Seitenwandteil 1 zusammenhängen, wie dies in Fig. 5 ersichtlich ist. Die beiden äusseren Zungen 21' sind, wie in Fig. 7 ersichtlich, als Distanzhalter zwischen den Seitenwandteilen der Abstützbalken 2' bzw. 4' bestimmt, während die mittlere Zunge 21' für die Festlegung der Distanz zwischen den Seitenwandteilen des Abstützbalkens 26' bestimmt sind. Der mittlere Abstützbalken 26' ist aus einem rechteckigen Wellkartonzuschnitt gemäss
Fig. 6 gebildet, an welchem durch vier Falzlinien 5 drei Streifen 26' zur Bildung von drei Wänden eines dem Schachtelboden als vierte Wand anliegenden Vierkanthohlbalkens 26' gegeneinander abgegrenzt sind.

  Die beiden Endstreifen 26 des Zuschnittes gemäss Fig. 6 dienen als Halteflansche, welche in der Ebene der als Bodenzwi schenlage dienenden Bodenteile 22, 24 an die beiden letzteren anschliessen. Durch Aufklappen der beiden
Teile 21 als äusserer Bodenteil werden die Teile 22 und 26 bzw.   24 und    26 überdeckt, wie dies aus Fig. 7 ersichtlich ist. Die Aussenkanten der Bodenteile 21 werden durch Klebband 15 mit der Seitenwand 3 gemäss Fig. 7 und 9 verbunden.



   Zwecks Bildung der Schachtel aus dem in Fig. 5 dargestellten Zuschnitt werden zuerst die Seitenwände 1, 2, 3, 4 in den Falzlinien 6 rechtwinklig gegeneinander abgebogen und die beiden Aussenkanten 7, 8 des Zuschnittes durch einen Klebstreifen 9 miteinander verbunden, so dass die Seitenwände einen in sich geschlossenen Teil gemäss Fig. 7 und 9 bilden. Nun wird der innere Bodenteil 23 um die Falzlinie 5 im rechten Winkel nach einwärts abgebogen. Auf die Aussenseite des inneren Bodens 23 werden alsdann die Distanzhalterzungen 21' im rechten Winkel eingeschlagen. Anschliessend werden aus den Bodenteilen 22 und 24 durch rechtwinkliges Abbiegen der Streifen 2' bzw. 4' in den Falzlinien 5 gegeneinander, die beiden äusseren   Vierkant-Hohlbalken    2', 4' gebildet und die verkürzten Bodenteile 22, 24 der Aussenseite des inneren Bodens 23 angelegt.

  In analoger Weise wird auch durch rechtwinkliges Abbiegen der Streifen 26' in den Falzlinien 5 der Kartonzuschnitt gemäss Fig. 6 zu einem der Bildung des mittleren Vierkanthohlbalkens 26' dienenden Formstück gemäss Fig. 8 gebogen. Die beiden äusseren Streifen 26 des Formstükkes gemäss Fig. 8 dienen als Halteflansche und werden als, die Bodenmittelschicht ergänzende Teile zwischen die mittlere Zunge 21' und den Teil 22 bzw. 24 eingefügt.



  Zur Sicherung der die Bodenzwischenlage bildenden Teile 22, 24 und 26 werden die der Aussenbodenlage entsprechenden Bodenteile 21 auf die genannte Mittellage gemäss Fig. 7 eingeklappt und durch Klebband 15 an die Seitenwand 3 angeschlossen, wie dies in Fig. 7 und 9 ersichtlich ist. Nach Einschieben der Versteifungsprofile 10 in die Vierkanthohlbalken 2', 4', 26' sind letztere voll tragfähig, und die Palettschachtel ist verwendungsbereit.

 

   Wie aus den Fig. 1, 2, 3, 7 und 9 deutlich ersichtlich ist, liegen die Seitenwandteile 2, 4 mit den zugehörigen Streifen 2', 4' der Abstützbalken in einer Vertikalebene fluchtend und bilden miteinander eine ebene geschlossene Fläche ohne Absetzungen zueinander.



   Beim beschriebenen Erfindungsgegenstand, der für Verpackungszwecke aller Art verwendet werden kann, fehlt zwischen den Abstützbalken und der eigentlichen Schachtel eine kraftschlüssige Verbindung. Die Zuhilfenahme von Heftungen oder   Aneinanderklebungen,    welche besondere Arbeitsvorgänge verlangen und kostenverteuernd wirken, fällt damit dahin. Die Bänder 9, 15 erfüllen lediglich Sicherungs- nicht aber Verbindungsaufgaben. 



  
 



  Collapsible pallet box made of corrugated cardboard or impregnated rigid cardboard
Collapsible cardboard boxes with reinforced bases are known. These consist of several parts that are connected to one another by stapling or gluing.



   The present invention relates to a particularly simple pallet box made of corrugated cardboard or impregnated rigid cardboard, which can be produced on existing machines and which, thanks to its special structural design, can be produced and collapsed with the least expenditure of time and money.



   According to the invention, this is achieved in that all wall, cover and base parts as well as the two outer support beams on the underside of the pallet box base consist of a single cardboard blank of a rectangular basic shape, which is provided with corresponding fold lines, and inserts to reinforce the support beams are either wrapped or pushed in.



   The pallet box according to the invention is expediently free of rivets and staples and is therefore significantly cheaper to manufacture.



   In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject of the invention are shown, namely show:
1 shows the corrugated cardboard blank for the first embodiment of the collapsible pallet box,
2 shows the partially produced pallet box, illustrating the production process,

   The collapsible pallet box shown consists according to Fig. 1 to 4 of a single corrugated cardboard blank shown in Fig. 1, in which the corrugated grooves of the corrugated cardboard run in the vertical direction of the box or transversely to the longitudinal direction of the blank. The side wall parts 1, 2, 3, 4 of the blank are delimited from one another by folding lines 6. The cover parts 11, 12, 13, 14 are folded onto the side wall parts at the top by folding lines 5, while the bottom parts 21, 22, 23, 24 are folded down by folding lines 5.



  The outer narrow side edges 7 and 8 are butted against one another while closing the blank and firmly connected to one another by an adhesive tape 9, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. The box bottom is formed by three layers lying one above the other, the bottom part 23 forming the inner bottom layer, the bottom part 21 forming the outer bottom layer and the bottom parts 22, 24 each partially forming the intermediate bottom layer. Approximately half of the part 22 and 24 each form strips 2 'and 4', which are delimited from one another by fold lines 5, to form the support beams of the pallet box, while the other half of the parts 22, 24 form the bottom liner. The strips 2 'and 4', according to FIG. 2, of the base parts 22, 24 each result in a square hollow bar, which are again designated in FIG. 3 by 2 'and 4', respectively, by bending them at right angles in the folding lines 5.

  The outer wall part of the square hollow beams 2 ', 4' is formed by a corresponding elevation 4 'of the narrow side wall parts 2 and 4. The narrow-sided edge parts of the outer bottom part 21 form tongues 21 'separated from it, which lie in the plane of the bottom intermediate layer 22, 24, as spacers for the inner wall part 2' and parallel to the side wall 2 or 4.



  4 'of the support beam, see FIGS. 2 and 3. The bottom part 21 serving as the outer bottom layer is finally folded onto the parts 22, 24 of the bottom intermediate layer and firmly connected to the broad side wall 3 at its outer edge by adhesive tape strips 15.



   With 10 (Fig. 3 and 4) angular profile having inserts to be pushed into the hollow support beams 2 ', 4' and in the pushed-in position reinforcing the support beams are referred to, which can also be made of corrugated cardboard. In the case of pallet boxes for heavier shipping goods, square wooden or rigid foam bars, etc. can also be used as reinforcement inserts for the support beams 2 ', 4', which are wrapped in the hollow support beams 2 ', 4' when the box is assembled.



   For the purpose of creating the box from the corrugated cardboard blank shown in Fig. 1, the side walls 1, 2, 3, 4 are first bent into the folding lines 6 at right angles to each other and the two outer edges 7, 8 are connected to one another with an adhesive tape 9, closing the blank, see above that the side wall parts form a self-contained body according to FIGS. 2 and 3.



  The inner bottom part 23 is now bent at right angles around the fold line 5. The spacer tongues 21 'are then hammered into the outside of the bottom part 23 at a right angle. The two outer square hollow beams 2 ', 4' are then formed from the base parts 22 and 24 by bending the strips 2 'and 4' at right angles in the fold lines 5 and the shortened base parts 22, 24 are placed on the outside of the base 23. To secure the bottom intermediate layer 22 and 24, the bottom part 21 corresponding to the outer layer is folded onto the bottom middle layer according to FIG. 2 and finally the outer edge of the bottom part 21 is firmly connected to the side wall 3 by adhesive tapes 15.



  After inserting the stiffening profiles 10 into the hollow beams 2 ', 4', the latter are fully stable and the box is ready for use.



   The embodiment of the pallet box shown in FIGS. 5 to 9 is particularly suitable for heavy shipping goods. In this embodiment, the corrugated cardboard blank also has a rectangular basic shape, the side walls 1, 2, 3, 4 and the cover parts 11, 12, 13, 14 folded onto the latter are designed the same as in the first embodiment. The inner bottom part 23 corresponds in its length and width as in FIG. 1 to the basic shape of the pallet box. 9 is the adhesive strip connecting the two outer edges of the side wall parts 1 and 4 to one another. The base parts 22, 24 serving to form the two outer support beams 2 ', 4' are here correspondingly shortened to enable a third support beam 26 'located in the middle position between the two outer beams 2', 4 '.

  Three spacer tongues 21 'are separated from the outer base part 21 on both sides and in the middle, so that they are only connected to the outer side wall part 1, as can be seen in FIG. The two outer tongues 21 'are, as can be seen in FIG. 7, intended as spacers between the side wall parts of the support beams 2' and 4 ', while the middle tongue 21' are intended to determine the distance between the side wall parts of the support beam 26 ' . The middle support beam 26 'is made from a rectangular corrugated cardboard blank according to FIG
Fig. 6 is formed, on which by four fold lines 5 three strips 26 'to form three walls of a square hollow bar 26' adjacent to the box bottom as a fourth wall are delimited from one another.

  The two end strips 26 of the blank according to FIG. 6 serve as holding flanges which adjoin the latter two in the plane of the bottom parts 22, 24 serving as a bottom intermediate layer. By opening the two
Parts 21 as the outer bottom part are covered over parts 22 and 26 or 24 and 26, as can be seen from FIG. The outer edges of the base parts 21 are connected to the side wall 3 according to FIGS. 7 and 9 by adhesive tape 15.



   For the purpose of forming the box from the blank shown in Fig. 5, the side walls 1, 2, 3, 4 are first bent in the folding lines 6 at right angles to each other and the two outer edges 7, 8 of the blank are connected to one another by an adhesive strip 9 so that the side walls form a self-contained part according to FIGS. 7 and 9. Now the inner bottom part 23 is bent inwards around the fold line 5 at a right angle. The spacer tongues 21 'are then hammered into the outside of the inner bottom 23 at a right angle. Subsequently, the two outer square hollow beams 2 ', 4' and the shortened base parts 22, 24 of the outside of the inner base 23 are formed from the base parts 22 and 24 by bending the strips 2 'and 4' at right angles in the fold lines 5 against each other created.

  In an analogous manner, by bending the strips 26 'at right angles in the folding lines 5, the cardboard blank according to FIG. 6 is bent into a shaped piece according to FIG. 8 serving to form the central square hollow beam 26'. The two outer strips 26 of the shaped piece according to FIG. 8 serve as retaining flanges and are inserted between the middle tongue 21 'and the part 22 and 24 as parts supplementing the bottom middle layer.



  To secure the parts 22, 24 and 26 forming the intermediate bottom layer, the bottom parts 21 corresponding to the outer bottom layer are folded onto the middle layer according to FIG. 7 and connected to the side wall 3 by adhesive tape 15, as can be seen in FIGS. 7 and 9. After the stiffening profiles 10 have been pushed into the square hollow beams 2 ', 4', 26 ', the latter are fully stable and the pallet box is ready for use.

 

   As can be clearly seen from FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 7 and 9, the side wall parts 2, 4 with the associated strips 2 ', 4' of the support beams are aligned in a vertical plane and together form a flat, closed surface without offset to one another.



   In the case of the described subject matter of the invention, which can be used for packaging purposes of all kinds, there is no force-locking connection between the support beam and the actual box. The use of staples or gluing, which require special work processes and have a cost-increasing effect, is no longer necessary. The bands 9, 15 only fulfill security but not connection tasks.

PATENTANSPRUCH PATENT CLAIM Zusammenklappbare Palettschachtel aus Wellkarton oder imprägniertem Festkarton, dadurch gekennzeichnet dass sämtliche Wand-, Deckel- und Bodenteile (1, 2, 3, 4 bzw. 11, 12, 13, 14 bzw. 21, 22, 23, 24) sowie die beiden äusseren Abstützbalken (2', 4') auf der Unterseite des Palettschachtelbodens aus einem einzigen Kartonzuschnitt von rechteckiger Grundform bestehen, der mit entsprechenden Falzlinien versehen ist und dass zur Verstärkung der Abstützbalken Einlagen (10) entweder miteingewickelt oder eingeschoben sind.
