Description

Transfusion device
The main patent relates to a transfusion device characterized by the fact that it comprises a hermetically sealed housing, containing a flexible material reservoir containing a liquid to be injected into the patient's vessel and connected to an external conduit by a valve, and a valve mounted on the housing for the introduction into the housing of a pressurized gas intended to expel the liquid contained in the reservoir by compression of this reservoir.
It has also already been proposed to divide the reservoir into two chambers, one containing physiological liquid and the other powdered plasma, the chambers being placed in communication during the transfusion.
These devices work satisfactorily when they are arranged with the opening at the bottom, but when the opening is arranged at the top, the walls of the tank stick together in their upper part under the effect of the pressure. of the gas contained in the enclosure, after emptying the upper part of the tank, preventing the extraction of the liquid from the rest of the tank. It has been proposed to remedy this drawback by placing a wire of low compressible material in the reservoir so as to prevent the walls of the reservoir from sticking close to the wire.
The present invention also aims to prevent complete sticking of the walls, without it being however necessary to use a wire.
The object of the invention is an apparatus according to the claim of the main patent, characterized in that the wall of the reservoir has a permanent internal fold extending in the direction of flow of the liquid.
The fold will extend, for example, from the valve to the opposite end of the tank, on only one side of that tank. A ply width of 1 to 2 mm is sufficient to prevent complete sticking of the tank walls near the ply. The permanence and rigidity of the fold are ensured by welding the thermoplastic material generally used for the tank. It is obviously possible to provide two or more folds.
CLAIM
Transfusion apparatus according to the claim of the main patent, characterized in that the wall of the reservoir has a permanent internal fold extending in the direction of flow of the liquid.
