ID="0001.0082"> Hand erforderlich. -.
Road delimitation post with anchoring base The invention relates to a road delimitation post with an anchoring base, the foot of the road delimitation post and the upper end of the anchoring base having mutually interacting connecting elements for releasably connecting the post and base.
The anchoring bases are embedded in the shoulder of the road and are used to hold the road marking posts. For example, damaged road marking posts can be removed and replaced with new ones.
There have already been many different connections between Strassenber border posts and anchoring base proposed, but all of which have the disadvantage that the anchoring base protrudes at least slightly from the ground.
This is undesirable because this protruding piece of the anchoring base creates a considerable risk of injury in the event of accidents in which the road delimitation post is detached from the anchoring base by a suitable construction,
the anchoring base, however, withstands the impact due to its required firm anchoring in the ground.
Another disadvantage of a base piece protruding above the floor is that maintenance of the shoulder with mechanical aids, for example lawn mowers, is made more difficult. Although you can remove the road marking post from the anchorage base,
In order not to overly obstruct such a machine, the protruding parts of the anchoring asoekel nevertheless require precise control of such machines and reworking of the mowing area in the vicinity of the road delimitation posts is often <RTI
ID = "0001.0082"> hand required. -.
Both disadvantages can be avoided by the fact that the connecting elements are designed so that the anchorage socket can be completely sunk into the ground.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the base is provided at its upper end with a collar which surrounds the base of the post from the outside and has connecting elements on the base.
With this solution, the collar shields the connec- tion elements located in the ground from heavy pollution and delimits a recess in the ground into which the foot of the road marking post can be used.
In order to ensure that the anchoring base is flush with the ground surface and thus a secure connection between the road delimitation post and anchoring base can be established, the subject matter of the invention can be designed so that the collar at its upper end is perpendicular to the vertical post axis has a running plane, outwardly overhanging existing edge.
Another advantageous embodiment of the subject matter of the invention consists in that the anchoring base is provided at the upper end with a cup-shaped connecting element which is provided with a bottom and is open at the top and whose cylindrical side wall is cam-shaped. has inwardly protruding bulges,
which are used to hold the road marking post in the manner of a bayonet lock.
Another advantageous embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is that a tube serving as a post-like extension is butted on the underside of the bottom of the connecting element,
and that between the base and the pipe, ribs tapering downwards are attached, wherein according to an additional embodiment the base has a passage opening to the pipe.
Another embodiment consists in the fact that the road delimitation post has a cylindrical base which is tapered in diameter to form a horizontal shoulder assigned to the upper edge of the base,
which has outwardly protruding cam-shaped bulges which serve to hold the road delimitation post on the anchoring base in the manner of a bayonet catch.
It is particularly advantageous if the foot of the road delimitation post is made of an elastic plastic, because when there is a stronger external force, it is approximately normal to the post axis, e.g. B. in a rear-end collision, resiliently jump out of the bracket of the anchoring base.
Based on the exemplary embodiment of the invention shown in the drawing, this will now be explained in more detail.
The drawing shows an anchoring base let into the ground area in cross section and the lower end of a road boundary post partly in section and partly broken off.
A generally designated 10 anchoring base consists of a tubular post part 12 and a pot-shaped connecting element 14, on the bottom 16 of which the post part 12 is butted. A hole 17 in the bottom 16 connects the inner space of the connecting element with the Pfostenin neren. Radially extending ribs 18, preferably three evenly distributed over the circumference Rip pen, which taper down to a point against the post part 12, are used to stiffen and to better take on lateral pressures.
A cylindrical wall part or collar 20 adjoins the bottom 16 of the connecting element 14 at the top, which has inwardly projecting bulges 22 in the form of cams of a bayonet closure.
At the upper edge of the collar 20 is beaded outwards and has an approximately horizontal edge 24 resting on the ground, which prevents the anchoring base 10 from penetrating too deep into the ground, thereby securely connecting the road delimitation post to the anchoring base would be prevented.
This road boundary post is designated as a whole with 26 and has the usual shape, so that its upper part is not shown.
At its lower end, its diameter tapers to form an approximately horizontal shoulder 28 which is assigned to the edge 24 of the anchoring base. The tapered part forms a foot 30 which can be inserted into the connecting element 14 of the anchoring base 10.
On the cylindrical circumference of the foot 30 protruding bulges 32 are provided which are suitable for interacting with the bulges 22 of the anchoring base in the manner of a bayonet closure. In the foot 30, a reinforcing piece 34 is inserted from below in order to prevent damage to the connecting elements in the event of a violent separation of the road delimitation post and anchoring base.
Such a forcible separation occurs, for example, in the event of a rear-end collision when the road delimitation post is made of an elastic material, preferably an elastic plastic.
Under the influence of a laterally acting force, the shoulder 28 rests with one point of its edge on the edge 24 of the anchoring base 10, this point is used as the fulcrum of the road boundary post 26, which is a lever, and pushes the foot 30 out of the connecting element 14 Road delimitation post 26 resiliently springs out of this connecting element and can be used again later.
Since the anchoring base 10 is completely embedded in the ground, but the road delimitation post does not offer any great resistance to an impact in the manner described, the previously existing risk of injury in accidents no longer exists when connecting post and base in accordance with the innovation.
But it also proves to be of great advantage when clearing snow if the post can be removed briefly, without a part of the base hindering the clearing work, or that the post is relatively easy to push out of the holder, provided that one does not want to remove it briefly because there is a risk that it will be caught by the snow plow. The same advantages arise when mowing the street shoulder.
In addition to the advantages described, which the inventive road delimitation post with anchoring base has when it is properly arranged on the roadside, the corresponding design also has the advantage of a particularly simple installation of the post, which is superior to all previously known constructions.
To insert the anchoring base, a tool is used which consists of a rod-shaped chisel that can be inserted through the bore 17 in the tubular post part 12, pointed downwards, protruding downward from the post part 12, which at its upper end is connected to a connecting element 14 insertable disc provided with a lateral cam, as well as with a cross bar serving as a handle.
A protrusion 19 pressed into the interior of the connecting element 14 serves as a stop for the cam of the tool. If the anchoring base and tool are aligned in a certain position to one another, the chisel with the anchoring base located on it is driven into the ground, with the aid of the cross bar a certain orientation of the anchoring base to the longitudinal axis of the road is maintained, for example such that the cross bar to The longitudinal axis of the road runs parallel.
As a result, a certain position of the protrusion 19 is reached in the anchoring base used, which is used for the automatic alignment of the road delimitation post. Since the position is known which the road delimitation post is to assume relative to the road, it will be placed approximately in this position when inserting it into the anchoring base and then the two-sided cams will be brought into engagement with a short turn.
This rotational movement is now limited by the protrusion 19 and that when the road delimitation post is in its correct position.
When the anchoring base is hammered in with the chisel, it is achieved that any stones which may be present in the ground and preventing the anchoring base from being inserted are pushed to the side by the tip of the chisel. At the same time, the chisel ensures that the inside of the pipe part 12 remains free and that it cannot be blocked by stones at the lower end.
Thus, the pipe offers the possibility that rain or meltwater can safely flow out of the connec tion element 14, which serves to protect the structure. As a rule, this protective precaution is also effective in winter, because the pipe 12 can reach below the frost line in the ground: this frost line is not too deep, especially if the verges are not cleared of snow.
It is therefore evident that the design according to the innovation not only promotes accident protection and facilitates the handling of the road delimitation posts and maintenance of the verges, but also makes it easier to attach the anchoring bases and posts, which saves working time.
