Diamond-tipped frame saw blade The invention relates to a diamond-tipped frame saw blade for the processing of natural stone blocks, which is provided on its two side edges with clamping pieces for clamping and on its underside with spaced diamantbe piece teeth.
Diamond-tipped gang saw blades, which are usually clamped to several in a frame as a tool set to saw natural stone blocks in panels, represent a significant value. In order to keep the economic risk of their use as low as possible, extensive studies have been made with the The aim is to determine which influences and circumstances cause premature damage to the gang saw blades when they are used.
It was determined that the stress distribution in the horizontal and vertical directions in the blade is sometimes very different under different operating conditions and can lead to bending of the blade and that the amount and distribution of the cooling liquid continues not only for the life of the saw blade, but is also of crucial importance for the saw quality and the evenness of the cut. However, the known diamond-containing gang saw blades, which are provided on their lower edge with inductively soldered sintered teeth made of a certain grain size and concentration, do not take this knowledge into account.
Rather, it has been shown that the known saw blades tend to vibrate and therefore to the occurrence of unflattering voltage peaks that can lead to breakage and that the cooling is still insufficient under various operating conditions, so that the teeth are relatively worn out.
The invention is based on the object of creating a gang saw blade which, when used under a wide variety of operating conditions, has a favorable stress distribution and sufficient cooling of the teeth.
As a solution to this problem, the invention provides that the saw blade is provided on its lower edge between the teeth with incorporated recesses under different lengths. With such recesses of different lengths, which can be milled into a saw blade made of steel, the occurrence of vibrations can be largely avoided and a sufficient amount of coolant, such as water, can be supplied to the teeth. It has been shown to be expedient if the recesses are also of different depths, specifically preferably of a depth which is adapted to their respective length. The perfect cooling can be further improved in that the recesses extend from one tooth to the next following one.
This ensures that the coolant can reach the teeth directly without any further detours. In this embodiment too, it is useful if the diamond-containing teeth are soldered to the tips of the webs in their full width, which separate the successive recesses from one another.
An embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to a drawing. The diamond-tipped saw blade 1 shown in the drawing is provided on both of its side edges with clamping pieces 2 with which it can be clamped to a frame (not shown) together with other uniform gang saw blades 1.
In the lower edge portion of the sheet 1 a plurality of adjacent recesses 3 are milled, which are of different lengths a, b and c and also of different depths. The lengths and depths of the recesses are in a certain ratio to one another such that a recess of relatively great length c is deeper than a recess of shorter length b. The recesses 3 delimit webs 4 of different heights, on the lower edges of which diamond-containing teeth 5 are soldered over the full width of the webs 4.
For the sake of clarity, the example shown in the drawing is not shown to scale. The following dimensions have proven to be useful: length L, of the sheet 4,000 mm; Height of the sheet H,: 180 mm; Thickness of the sheet S: 3.5 mm; Pitch of teeth: a, b, c: 85-100 mm; Depth of the recesses T: 15-25 mm; Coating height of teeth Z: 7 mm; Head width of teeth K: 20 mm.
