Additional patent to main patent no. 458 <B> 813 </B> Coin checker The main patent describes a coin checker, especially for self-sellers and telephone cashier stations, whose coin path for the metal body to be checked is guided in coin form through the field of at least one self-induction coil, which is part of a resonant circuit of an oscillator, which is designed in such a way that its vibrations are temporarily suspended or not suspended by the action of a metal body running through the coin track, depending on its electrical and magnetic properties, acceptance or non-acceptance of the metal body depending on it whether the vibrations stop.
In the embodiments described in the main patent: coin validator, acceptance or non-acceptance of the metal body depends on whether its influence on the oscillator exceeds or falls below a predetermined limit due to its design.
The present invention is based on the object of adapting the coin tester according to the main patent in such a way that only metal bodies whose influence on the oscillator lies between two predetermined limits are accepted as acceptable coins.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the coin trajectory leads one after the other through the fields of at least one pair of self-induction coils, each of which belongs to an oscillator, and that these oscillators are designed so that by the action of a running through the coin trajectory. acceptable coin to temporarily expose the vibrations of only one of the oscillators and to the action of another.
through the coin run body pers the vibrations of both oscillators temporarily suspend or both oscillator vibrations are not interrupted. One of the oscillators can be designed so that the action of an acceptable coin is just enough to stop its oscillations, and the other oscillator can be designed so that the action of an acceptable coin is not quite sufficient to stop its To temporarily interrupt vibrations.
In the following, an embodiment, example of the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing. The only figure shows the scheme of a coin validator.
In the illustrated coin validator, the coin track 2 formed in egg nem body 1 leads through the field of a self-induction coil 3 and then with a core 4 through the field of a self-induction coil 23 with a core 24.
The coil 3 is part of the oscillator circuit of a circuit consisting of an oscillator and a rectifier following this circuit 20. The coil 23 is part of the oscillator circuit of a circuit 25 consisting of an oscillator and a rectifier that rectifies its vibrations Temporarily suspend the oscillator of the circuit 20 or 25, the rectifier of this circuit delivers a pulse on the Lei device A or on the line C.
The feedback of each of the two oscillators is set so that an acceptable coin running through the coin path 2 is just sufficient to temporarily stop the oscillations of the oscillator of the circuit 20. but not yet sufficient to also cause the oscillator of the circuit 25 to stop.
A logic circuit 26 to 31 supplies a coin acceptance pulse at its output F only if, in response to a pulse occurring on line A, there is no pulse on the line within a predetermined time.
