Photographic lens The invention relates to a photographic lens of high light intensity of the Gauss type, which is composed of five free-standing lenses, of which, counting in the direction of light incidence, the first and second lenses are formed as converging menisci, their convex surfaces of the direction of light incidence and are followed by a diffusing meniscus, which has its convex surface facing the direction of incidence of light, followed by another diffusing meniscus,
which, however, turns its concave side to the direction of incidence of light and is followed by a biconvex converging lens.
The object of the invention was to develop a lens of the Gauss type consisting of only five lenses, which achieves a high light intensity of 1: 2 and, thanks to the smallness of all residual aberrations, has an excellent image performance within an image angle of 50.
According to the invention, this was achieved in that the sum of the refractive indices of the converging lenses for wavelength d (587.6 nm) is at least 5.3746 and the quotient of this value and the sum of the refractive indices of the diverging lenses, also for wavelength d, are added 1.521 was chosen, and that the design data are so close to the values in the following table that none of the surface refractive powers (dn / r) by more than 0.05 - and none of the vertex distances (e)

deviate from the table values by more than 0.03 - f, and that both the refractive indices and the v values do not differ by more than 6% from the values given in the table below.

000 Overall length = 50; 835 It has been shown that under these conditions Gaussian lenses with a high luminous intensity of 1: 2 can be built with only five lenses whose zone errors on the axis for the colors Cg amount to -4% or the Do not exceed the focal length, while the maximum zone error of the sagittal image curvature is only -5% and that of the meridional image curvature, thanks to double correction, only reaches 1.3 .bo of the focal length.
Accordingly, the meridional coma is particularly well corrected; the transverse aberrations remain in the entire usable image field below 1.5 öo of the focal length. Another advantage of the objective according to the invention can be seen in the fact that its focal length is 65% of the focal length, which makes it suitable for single-lens reflex chambers.
Lenses of the type described have already been known from US patents 2,627,204,15 and 2,645,155, 2,646,721 and 2,662,447, but these lenses consistently have at least one more lens and a different distribution of refractive powers, indices and v values. The same applies to the lens of the D.A.S. 1277 580, which also has 7 lenses, and for the lens of the D.A.S. 1 249 555, which has 8 lenses.
