Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Schlafstätte für Kleintiere, insbesondere Katzen.
Zweck der Erfindung ist, den Tieren eine Ruhestätte zu bieten, wo sie möglichst geschützt sind gegen Kälte und Feinde.
Ein vorteilhaft schichtformähnlich gebautes, auf einer Seite offenes Gehäuse bietet diesen Schutz, wenn der Weg von der Eintrittsöffnung zum Schlafplatz mindestens einmal abgewinkelt ist. Zweckmässig besitzt das Gehäuse verstellbar angebrachte Fusse. mit welchen es möglich ist, die Eintrittsöffnung des Gehäuses im Sommer, oder wenn es an einem warmen Platz steht, höher zu stellen, damit die vom Tier erwärmte Luft von selbst nach aussen steigt. Im Winter oder an einem kühlen Platz hingegen würde man den hintern Teil leicht höher stellen, damit die vom Tier erwärmte Luft am Schlafplatz gestaut wird. Zu bauen ist diese Schlafstätte zweckmässig aussen mit einer genügend Schutz bietenden Hülle und innen mit einem Polstermaterial.
Fig. I und II zeigen zwei Ausführungsbeispiele der Schlafstätte.
Fig. I und II zeigen das Gehäuse im Grundriss ; wesentlich ist, dass der Weg zwischen der Eingangsöff- nung und dem Schlafplatz mindestens einmal abgewin kelt ist. Es braucht nicht unbedingt ein 90 -Winkel zu sein ; wesentlich ist, dass das Tier in seiner Ruhe nicht, zum Beispiel durch Hunde, angegriffen werden kann, und zwar auch nicht mit den Vorderbeinen. Es kann dies durch eine winklige Form des Gehäuses oder durch eine kurze Querwand erreicht werden.
Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass durch das Abwinkeln der den Schlafplatz enthaltende Teil dunkel wird, was besonders Katzen lieben.
Fig. Ia und IIa zeigen die Schlafstätte bzw. die beiden Gehäuse von der Seite gesehen. Die unmittelbar angebrachten, mit verschieden langen Schenkeln versehe
2 nen Füsse können auch als Fussleisten ausgebildet sein.
Wenn man bei la und IIa bei der Schlafplatzseite die kürzeren Schenkel der Füsse nach unten kehrt, ist die hintere Tieflage hergestellt, was bei der warmen Jahreszeit besser ist für das Tier. Umgekehrt kann man für kaltes Wetter hinten höher aufstellen als vorn, damit die Wärme beim Tier bleibt.
Selbstverständlich können auch zwei Schlafstätten aneinander gebaut werden, zum Beispiel wenn eine Katze Junge hat zur Gewinnung von Platz oder zum Spielen, da durch den Zusammenbau zwei Eingänge vorhanden sind, was für Katzenspiele sehr interessant ist.
PATENTANSPRUCH Schlafstätte für Kleintiere, insbesondere Katzen, gekennzeichnet durch ein auf einer Seite offenes Gehäuse, bei dem der Weg zwischen der Eintrittsöffnung und dem Schlafplatz mindestens einmal abgewinkelt ist, zur Erreichung von Schutz und Dunkelheit.
UNTERANSPRÜCHE 1. Schlafstätte nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Mittel vorgesehen sind, um die Temperatur am Schlafplatz zu regulieren.
2. Schlafstätte nach Unteranspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet. dass die genannten Mittel durch verstellbar angebrachte Füsse gebildet sind, um je nach Bedarf die Eintrittsöffnung tiefer oder höher als den Schlafplatz stellen zu können, was zugleich die Decke des Gehäuses in ihrer Horizontallage verändert, wodurch die Luftzirkulation gehemmt oder gefördert wird.

In winter or in a cool place, on the other hand, the rear part would be slightly higher so that the air warmed by the animal is stowed in the sleeping area. It is practical to build this sleeping place on the outside with a cover that offers sufficient protection and on the inside with a padding material.
