Spray and foam nozzle The object of the present invention is to seal cosmetics and technical products with a proportion of propellant gases in portion packs and to spray or foam them when used, the use of which can be interrupted at will.
Aerosol packs made of metal, glass and plastic are known which can contain hairsprays, deodorants, shampoos, car paints, etc. and which, due to their content of propellant gases, some of which are in gaseous form, are sprayed or foamed when used. These containers are closed by valves, some of which are very complex and correspondingly expensive. The spray effect is achieved by separately attached spray heads that have special swirl chambers and nozzle attachments. The foaming of e.g. Shampoos require special foam heads.
Due to their relatively high price, these complex constructions justify their use only for multi-portion packs, and the larger the pack, the more efficient the production. Up to now, portion packs have only been supplied with refill packs together with corresponding large doses. However, since these portion packs have separate inlet and outlet valves, their high price makes the application considerably more expensive.
On the other hand, it is known that single-portion packs make up a significant proportion of total consumption. Shampoos, bubble baths, hair lotions, hair setting agents and other cosmetics are preferably bought and used in single-portion packs. It was an object of the present invention to spray these products on as an aerosol or to apply them as foam, specifically from single-portion packs.
To solve this problem, a novel spray and foam nozzle is proposed with the present invention, which simultaneously takes on the function of a bottle closure. The spray or foam nozzle for distributing liquid filling material with a proportion of propellant gas that is completely or partially gaseous at room temperature is characterized by a nozzle head with a nozzle base which has a bore with a diameter of 0.1 to 1.3 mm, the The nozzle base sits on the neck of the vial through an elastic plug-in cap made of rubber, plastic or metal. According to one embodiment, an elastic seal can be inserted between the edge of the bottle and the spray or foam nozzle.
The nozzle is then preferably made of relatively brittle plastic, which has an advantageous effect on its functionality. The diameter of the bore can be 0.3 to 0.4 mm approximately in one Ausfüh.
The function of the spray or foam nozzle is explained in more detail below using the hair setting agent as an example. The filling of the vial or bottle consists of a hair setting solution and propellant gases that are partially and / or completely in gaseous form at normal temperature. Nitrogen and carbon dioxide, but above all halogenated hydrocarbons, can be used as propellants. The vial is handled so that the nozzle points in the direction of the hair to be treated, with the thumb lying parallel to the nozzle.
Light pressure against the nozzle lifts the seal, or if one has not been used, the ring surface of the nozzle from the edge of the vial, and the solution is pushed by the propellant gas into the space located between the plug cap and nozzle base and can so through the horizontal bore of the nozzle and this itself emerge in the form of a spray.
The subject matter of the invention is explained using the accompanying drawings, for example.
1 shows a cross-section and clearly shows how the plug-in cap 3 engages over the neck of the vial 1 and encompasses the bead 2 of the vial. The seal 5 rests on the edge of the vial and has a sealing effect via the nozzle base 6 through the plug-in cap. The bore 8 is located on the nozzle foot 6 and, when the nozzle head 7 is slightly inclined, enables the product to exit through the nozzle.
In the case of the nozzle shown in FIG. 2, the seal 5 can be dispensed with, since the nozzle base 6 is closed at the bottom.
