Wünschenswerterweise wird der unterseitige Schneid stahl in Führungen eingesetzt, die an der verschiebbaren zangenartigen Klemmvorrichtung mit Hilfe mindestens eines Kragarms befestigt sind. Nachstehend wird die Erfindung anhand von Ausfüh rungsbeispielen und beiliegender Zeichnungen erläutert;

Portable machine for rail butt welding outdoors The present invention relates to a portable machine for rail butt welding outdoors, preferably by means of resistance welding.
There are portable machines for rail butt welding outdoors known which contain a sliding re and an immovable pincer-like Klemmvorrich device for clamping the rails to be welded together, a drive for adjusting the ver sliding pincer-like clamping device and a device for cutting the weld bead on the joint.
In the machine mentioned, intended for gas pressure welding of rails, the device for cutting off the weld bead at the joint consists of two removable parts which, after welding, are placed on the rail and fastened to it. The removable device parts contain cutting steels for cutting off the welding bead at the joint.
The device mentioned is located between the tong-like clamping devices and cuts the weld bead on the joint with the help of cutting steels under the action of the displaceable Klemmvorrich device, which is moved by hydraulic cylinders.
The above-mentioned machine has the following disadvantages: during operation, it is difficult to attach, connect and detach the two parts of the above-mentioned device; Significant time is required to assemble the aforementioned device in the working position, with the result that the temperature of the weld bead on the joint drops significantly, which means that greater forces are required to cut the weld bead on the joint; all of the above facts lead to a reduction in the performance of the machine.
The aim of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks mentioned.
The present invention is based on the object of creating a portable machine for butt welding rails with a structurally simple, reliable and easy to use device for cutting off the weld bead at the joint.
This object is achieved in that, in the case of the mobile machine for rail butt welding outdoors, the device for cutting off the weld bead on the joint has at least two shaped steels comprising rail head and side parts in cross-section, which are rigidly attached to the jaws of the movable pliers-like clamping device, and at least one underneath Contains cutting steel which is attached to one of the tong-like clamping devices in such a way that it can perform a reciprocating movement transversely to the rail, and its cutting edge coincides with the plane of the rail foot.
Appropriately, to generate the back and forth movement of the cutting steel on the underside transversely to the rail, at least one hydraulic cylinder-piston unit attached to one of the pliers-like clamping devices is used, with the piston rod of which the cutting steel mentioned is connected.
It is also expedient to attach the cylinder of the hydraulic cylinder-piston unit for the displacement of the cutting steel on the underside to one of the jaws of the immovable pliers-like clamping device, the cutting edge of the cutting steel on the underside being arranged in such a way that the weld bead on the joint is transverse when moved is cut to the rail.
It can also be attached to at least one jaw of the ver slidable pincer-like clamping device of the cylinder of a hydraulic cylinder-piston unit, with the piston rod of the lower cutting steel connected and whose cutting edge is arranged so that the welding bead on the joint when adjusting the sliding pincer-like Klemmvor device along the Rail is cut off.
Desirably, the underside cutting steel is used in guides that are attached to the movable pincer-like clamping device with the help of at least one cantilever arm. The invention is explained with reference to Ausfüh approximately examples and accompanying drawings;
It shows Fig. 1 the side view of the machine for rail butt welding outdoors with device for cutting from the weld bead on the joint, the cylinder of a hydraulic cylinder-piston unit for the displacement of the underside cutting steel of the device he mentioned attached to the immovable pincer-type clamping device is, Fig. 2 do., a section along the line I-1 of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is the side view of the same machine,
in which the hydraulic cylinder of the unit for the actuation of the underside cutting steel of the aforementioned Vorrich device is attached to one of the jaws of the movable pliers-type clamping device, Fig. 4 do., a section along line II-II of Fig. 3, Fig. 5 do ., a section along line II-11 of FIG. 3,
the hydraulic cylinders of units for the displacement of the lower-side cutting steels of the device mentioned are attached to both jaws of the verschiebba Ren pincer-like clamping device, and Fig.6 shows the view from below on Fig.2 and the arrangement on the jaws of the pliers-like Klemmvor directions of the underside The cutting steel and the form steel the device for cutting off the weld bead at the joint.
The portable machine for rail butt welding in the open air contains an immovable pincer-like clamping device 1 (Fig. 1, 2, 3), which is used to clamp the rail 2 to be welded; a displaceable pliers-like clamping device 3 which is used to clamp the second rail 4 to be welded; a common axis 5 (Figure 2) on which the above-mentioned pincer-like clamping devices are placed; two hydraulic cylinders 6 (Fig.l), which are intended for the adjustment of the movable pincer-like Klemmvor direction 3;
a device 7 for cutting from the weld bead on the joint.
The immovable pincer-like clamping device consists of two jaws 8 and 9 (FIG. 2) which are placed on the mentioned axis 5 in such a way that they can only be pivoted about this axis when clamping and unclamping the rail 2 to be welded. The jaws 8 and 9 are pivoted ge by the hydraulic cylinder 10, which is mounted on the upper arms of the aforementioned pincer-like clamping device.
The jaws 8 and 9 can also be pivoted by another device, the structure of which is not shown in the drawings.
The displaceable pliers-like clamping device 3 (Fig. 4 and 5) consists of two jaws 11 and 12, which are placed on the axis 5 mentioned that they are not only pivoted when clamping and unclamping the rail 4 to be welded, but when Welding and cutting off the welding bead at the joint can be moved along the mentioned axis with the aid of the device 7. The jaws 11 and 12 are pivoted by the hydraulic cylinder 13 which is mounted on the upper arms of the aforementioned pincer-like clamping device. The jaws 11 and 12 can also be pivoted with another device.
The device 7 for cutting off the weld bead on the joint consists of two form steels 14 and 15 which are rigidly attached to the jaws 11 and 12 of the movable pliers-like clamping device 3 and of cutting steel 16 on the underside, which is attached to one of the pliers-like clamping devices 1 (Fig . 1) or 3 is placed in such a way that it can move back and forth across the rail and that its cutting edge coincides with the plane of the rail base.
The structural steels 14 and 15 comprise, in cross section, the rail head and side parts.
The reciprocating movement of the lower cutting steel 16 transversely to the rail is generated by at least one hydraulic cylinder 17, with the piston rod 18 (Fig. 2) of the mentioned cutting steel is connected.
In the device 7 for cutting off the weld bead on the joint, the hydraulic cylinder 17 can be attached in different variants to the pliers-like clamping devices 1 and 3, while the structural steels 14 and 15 do not change their position on the movable pliers-like clamping device 3.
In Fig. 1, 2, one of the mounting variants of the hydraulic cylinder 17 is shown for displacement of the underside cutting steel 16, the cylinder on the jaw 8 of the immovable pincer-like Klemmvor device 1 is attached. The hydraulic cylinder 17 is arranged transversely to the rail in such a way that the cutting steel 16 attached to its piston rod 18 with the cutting edge lying in the longitudinal direction of the rails cuts the weld bead at the joint from the rail feet of the welded rails 2 and 4 when it is displaced transversely to the rails.
In Fig. 3, 4, a second variant of the attachment of the hydraulic cylinder 17 is shown for the displacement of the unterei term cutting steel 16, the cylinder on the jaw 11 of the movable pincer-like clamping device 3 is attached. Here, the Hydraulikzy cylinder 17 together with the underside cutting steel 16 attached to its piston rod 18 and the cutting edge of the underside cutting steel 16 are arranged transversely to the rail.
In this case, the weld bead at the joint from the rail foot is cut off in the longitudinal direction of the rail when the displaceable tong-like clamping device 3 is adjusted with the aid of the hydraulic cylinder 6 (FIG. 1). The cutting steel 16 on the underside is displaced in the guide 19 (FIG. 3), which is fastened to the displaceable tong-like clamping device 3 with the aid of the cantilever arm 20.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 5 represents a special case of the above-mentioned variant. In the latter, hydraulic cylinders 17 are attached to the two jaws 11 and 12, with the piston rods 18 of which the cutting tools 16 on the underside are connected. Here at both hydraulic cylinders 17 and also the cutting edges of the cutting steels 16 on the underside are arranged transversely to the rail.
The weld bead on the joint is cut off with the aid of the device 7 as follows.
After the rails have been welded together, the jaws 11 and 12 of the movable pliers-like clamping device 3 are pivoted a little with the aid of the hydraulic cylinder 13 about the axis 5 and locked in this position. The distance in the cross section between the rail outline and the cutting edge of the form steels 14 and 15 attached to the jaws 11 and 12 corresponds to the allowance for grinding after the cutting bead has been cut off at the joint.
Thereafter, the hydraulic cylinders 6 (Fig. 1) for the adjustment of the slidable pincer-like clamping device 3 are put under pressure and the latter is moved together with the form steels 14 and 15 attached to their jaws 11 and 12 along the rail in the direction of the joint .. Here schneiiin the structural steels 14 and 15 remove the weld bead at the joint from the rail head and side parts in the longitudinal direction of the rail. After the structural steels have covered the stroke required to cut the weld bead on the joint, the clamping device 3 can be returned to the starting position with the aid of the hydraulic cylinder 6.
Furthermore, the hydraulic cylinder 17 is pressurized. When the piston rod 18 of the hydraulic cylinder 17 is displaced, the cutting steel 16 attached to the piston rod 18 on the underside cuts the weld bead at the joint from the rail foot when displaced transversely to the rail. After the cutting steel has finished its stroke required to cut the weld bead from the rail foot, the piston rod 18 of the hydraulic cylinder 17 returns to the starting position.
This ends the cutting of the weld bead at the joint.
In the variant described above and shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the weld bead on the joint is cut off as follows.
The jaws 11 and 12 of the slidable pincer-like clamping device 3 are, after the rails have been welded together, pivoted a little about the axis 5 by the hydraulic cylinder 13 and locked in this position.
At the same time, the hydraulic cylinder 17, which is attached to the jaw 11 of the movable pincer-like clamping device 3, is put under pressure. Here, the piston rod 18 of the hydraulic cylinder 17 with the underside cutting steel 16 attached to it is displaced transversely to the rail and thereby the mentioned cutting steel is brought into its working position in the guide 19, which befe with the help of the cantilever arm 20 on the jaw 11 of the sliding pincer-like clamping device 3 is stigt.
There are, after these preparatory Verstellun conditions are executed, the hydraulic cylinder 6 for the adjustment of the slidable pliers-like Klemmvor device 3 is pressurized and the latter with the form steels 14 and 15 attached to their jaws 11 and 12 and the cutting steel 16, which is in the with the aid of the cantilever arm 20 attached to the jaw 11 guide 19 is moved along the rail towards the joint. Here, the form steels 14 and 15 as well as the underside cutting steel 16 of the welding bead cut along the joint along the entire outline when shifting in rails longitudinally.
In the variant described above and shown in FIG. 5, the weld bead is cut off on the joint as follows.
All preparatory work steps are carried out analogously to the above variant.
This variant differs in that it has two hydraulic cylinders 17 which are attached to the jaws 11 and 12 of the displaceable pliers-like clamping device and with the piston rod 18 of which two cutting tools 16 are connected on the underside. With the help of the mentioned cutting steels 16, the weld bead is cut abge at the joint from the rail foot in the rails longitudinally when the movable pliers-like clamping device is adjusted in the direction of the joint.
Cutting off the weld bead at the joint with the aid of the devices described has the following advantages: The fastening of the cutting steels directly to the jaws of the tong-like clamping device makes it possible to keep the weld bead on the joint during a period of time which follows almost immediately after the welding has been completed, i.e. cut off at a higher weld temperature than with the known methods. Accordingly, the forces required to cut off the weld bead at the joint are significantly lower, thereby reducing the weight and dimensions of the machine and working time.
In addition, the cutting of the weld bead at the joint can easily be automated with the aid of the devices using known, not described devices.
All of this results in a significant increase in the performance of the portable machine for rail butt welding outdoors.
