Single or composite window with an actuating device for pivoting the window about a horizontal and a vertical axis The invention relates to a single or composite window with an actuating device for pivoting the window about a horizontal and a vertical axis, both with a hand olive both edges can be operated are, as well as a lock between a scissors acting on the window sash and this window sash can be produced, whereby the sash receives an upper auxiliary axis in addition to its lower corner bearing tape.
In these known windows, dedicated means for forming a vertical axis of rotation are provided. With two-sash windows, a lock must be provided on one sash, both on the top and on the bottom. The funds required to secure the window equipped with a tilt and turn fitting in the tilt position against loosening of the frame are usually expensive and make the fitting uneconomical. Most of the known fittings are ultimately visible from the outside.
To avoid the numerous disadvantages of the known windows, it is proposed according to the invention that recessed edge closures with at least one tongue exclusion are provided on both sides of the window sash and on its underside, and that a pair of scissors is provided in a recess when the window is closed on the scissors provided between the window sash and the frame of the window frame lying slotted plate is arranged, which serves only in the rotary .und closed position of the window sash for the engagement of a slider provided on the push rod of the hinge-side edge lock and for this purpose has a vertically extending slot.
As a result, on the one hand, the actuating device in the window sash is arranged completely covered and on the other hand, an auxiliary axis for the sash on an already existing component is created in a simple manner. The invention also differs from known actuating devices for rotary windows, in which it is already known to arrange recessed edge closures with one or more tongue exclusions on both sides of the sash and on the underside, because those problems do not arise there as they do with Windows are pivotable about a horizontal and a vertical axis.
It can also be useful that on the push rods of the edge locks arranged on the window sash, double-lobed tabs intended for engagement in locking plates arranged on the frame are to be articulated, which come to lie behind the cover rail in the middle position of the handle or the push rods. In the tilted position of the sash, therefore, only a single tongue exclusion engages in a strike plate.
It can also be advantageous if the edge closure present on the underside of the window sash has two double-lobed tongue exclusions, one of which is in one end position of the push rod and the other in the other end position of the push rod in the associated frame provided in the frame The striking plate engages.
This measure not only ensures the additional locking of the window in the closed position by one of the two tongue exclusions mentioned, but also allows the other tongue exclusion to intervene in the associated strike plate in the frame when the window sash is tilted. In connection with this, it can be useful if the window sash has a bracket on its underside which, both in the closed position and in the tilted position of the sash, includes a correspondingly profiled bracket arranged on the frame.
In the tilted position of the window sash, these brackets therefore interact with the above-mentioned tongue exclusion and in this way effectively prevent the window sash from being lifted out.
If a double-sash window is to be equipped with the actuating device, only a minor addition to the hardware may be required. This can consist in that the upper push rod has a centrally arranged, upwardly directed locking rod, which engages with an inclined surface in the closed position of the window sash in a strike plate that is concealed in the rebate on the upper side of the frame.
In this case, when using the actuating device, the otherwise second locking bar, which is directed downwards, is saved, because the first-mentioned tongue exclusion in the closed position of the two window sashes causes their locking on the underside anyway.
The invention is illustrated in more detail using an exemplary embodiment in the drawing. 1 shows a composite window equipped with an actuating device, schematically in a front view, highlighting the fittings, FIG. 2 a partial side view of the composite window according to FIG. 1 in the tilted position, FIG. 3 a corresponding side view of the lower window part, FIG. 4 a front view of the frame part carrying the scissors,
Fig. 5 is a side view of the partially shown window sash in the tilted position with pivot handle, Fig. 6 is a side view of the lower parts of the blind frame and the tilted window sash.
Fig. 7 is a front view of the closed window sash when the frame is broken, Fig. 8 is a front view of the lower frame part, Fig. 9 is the upper part of a double-sash window, one wing of which is hen with a tilt and turn fitting verses and Fig. 10 is a sectional view the line XX of FIG. 9.
From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the actuating device consists of a window sash 1 arranged on both sides of a window sash 1 arranged with dot-dash lines and edge fasteners 2, 3, 4 and 5 arranged on its underside from a corner bearing band 6 and double scissors 7 acting on the upper side of the sash consists.
Each edge closure consists of a cover rail 8, 9, 10 provided on the front side of the sash, drive rods 11 to 16, as well as push rods 17 to 20 for the tongue exclusions 21 to 25, which are attached to the latter are hinged. The push rods 17 to 20 are pieces of iron band that are guided in eyelets 26 to 33 in a normal plane to the rails 8 to 10. The latter have in the area of the tongue exclusions 21 to 25 square recesses (not shown in Fig. 1), which allow their exit.
On the left side of the wing there is a Dreholi ve 34, the handle 35 can be pivoted from the position shown to the right by 90 in a second position and from this by a further 90 in a third position.
The drive rod 13 is coupled via a corner drive 36 to the drive rod 14 and the drive rod 15 to the drive rod ge 16 via a corresponding corner drive 37. The corner drives 36 and 37 are known devices and need not be described in detail.
The corner hinge 6 allows the sash 1 to pivot about a horizontal axis 38 and a vertical axis 39.
The double scissors 7, known per se, is attached to the blind frame 40 and has a slotted plate 41 which, when the window sash 1 is closed, lies in a recess of the blind frame 40 and serves to accommodate a slide 42 connected to the push rod 20 and movable up and down .
The mode of operation of the actuating device is as follows: In the position of the rotary handle 34 shown in FIG. 1, the window sash 1 is firmly connected to the frame 40 via the tongue exclusions 21, 22, 23 and 25; namely, these engage in adjacent locking plates, which are arranged on the frame 40 and are not shown in FIG. 1. These can have strips bent at an obtuse angle against which the advantageously double-lobed tongue exclusions 21 to 25 rest and thereby pull the sash 1 towards the frame 40.
When pivoting the pivot handle 34 to the right by 90 in the plane indicated by 43, the tongue exclusions 21, 22, 23 and 25 are pivoted by moving the drive rods 11 to 16 in the directions indicated by 44 to 47 that they cover rails behind the plane 8, 9, 10 come to rest. At the same time, the slide 42 moves upward in the slot of the plate 41, but without stepping out of the slot. The engagement of the slider 42 in the slotted plate 41 prevents the pivot lever 34 from removing the upper part of the sash from the frame 40 in this position, especially since the sash 1 is pivotably connected to the frame 40 about the axis 48 via the scissors 7.
It is therefore possible in the described position of the mentioned movable parts to pivot the window sash 1 about the axes 39, 48 lying in a vertical direction.
If, on the other hand, the pivot handle 34 is pivoted all the way up into the plane 49 with the window sash closed, the drive rods 11 to 16 move even further in the direction of arrows 44 to 47, with the push rods 17 to 20 and with these the tongue exclusions 21 , 22, 23 and 25 can be moved behind the cover rails 8 to 10. At the same time, however, the tongue exclusion 24 pivotably articulated on the push rod 19 emerges from a corresponding recess in the cover rail 9 downwards and into a striking plate (not shown) in the lower frame part.
Likewise at the same time, with this rotary movement of the rotary handle 34, the slider 42 leaves the slot in the plate 41, so that the wing 1 is no longer prevented from tilting about a lower horizontal axis.
At the top, the window sash is held in its tilted position by the two arms 50 and 51 of the scissors 7, the slide 42 and slotted plate 41 being separated from one another. On the underside, the window sash 1 is tilted about an axis that is composed of the horizontal axis 38 of the corner bearing hinge 6 and the support point of the window sash 1 on the frame 40 in the area of the tongue exclusion 24.
In order to prevent the window sash 1 from being lifted out on the side of the tongue exclusion 24, a bracket 52 is attached to the frame 40, which is encompassed by a similar bracket 53 of the window sash 1 from below. In this way, the brackets 52, 53 and the tongue exclusion 24 engaging in a strike plate work together and do not allow the window sash 1 to be lifted on their side.
2 clearly shows that the slider 42 in the associated guide recess 54 of the cover rail 10 arranged on the end face of the United wing 1 has almost reached its uppermost position in which it has completely left the slot 55 of the plate 41.
In this position, the tongue exclusion 25 is no longer in the area of its associated recess 56, but above it and behind the cover rail 10.
The inner wing 57 is connected to the outer wing 1 via a conventional coupling 58. The slotted plate 41 clearly shows a leading edge 59, which is intended to facilitate the engagement of the slider 42 in the slot 55 for the pivot Stel development of the window sash.
The two arms 50, 51 holding the wing 1 in the tilted position are coupled to one another in the area of the hinge point 60 via a toothed segment (not shown) and a guide and in this way allow in connection with their slot guides 62, 63 provided in the cover rail 61 that the upper window sash parts remain the same distance from the frame 40 in every tilted position.
From FIG. 3 it can be seen that the corner bearing tape 6 consists of an upper part 64, a lower part 65 and the like. a retaining bracket 66 with axis of rotation 67 which passes through the lower part 65. The retaining bracket 66 is seated with a bolt 68, which has sawtooth-like shoulders in the wood of the window frame 40, which ensures that the bracket 66 is anchored with difficulty. This is also connected to the frame 40 additional Lich via its tabs 69, 70 penetrating, not shown wood screws.
The upper part 64, like the retaining bracket 66, has bolts 71, 72 which are driven obliquely into the wing part 1 so that they also engage in the wing part 73 carrying the cover rail 10. These bolts 71, 72 also have sawtooth-like shoulders. The upper part 64 sits with a recess, not shown, on a correspondingly shaped pin of the lower part 65.
4 shows that the window frame 40 has recesses 74, 75 on the inside and at the top, the upper 74 of which is used for the engagement of a thickened part 76 of the double scissors 7 in the closed position of the sash 1. The lateral inner recess 75 is for receiving the slotted plate 41 in its parallel to the surface of the recess 75 aligned position IN ANY, which it reaches when the window is closed.
According to FIG. 5, the window sash 1 is in the tilted position, which is why the handle 35 of the rotary handle 34 points upwards. In this tilted position of the window sash 1, as FIG. 6 shows, the bracket 53 of the window sash 1 engages around the bracket 52 of the window frame 40 so that lifting of the sash 1 can be avoided with certainty.
As can be seen from FIG. 7, the strike plate 76 embedded in the frame 40 has a flap 77 which is bent downwards and against which the tongue exclusion 23 is supported. Due to the double-lobed design of the tongue exclusion, it is possible to press the window sash 1 against the frame 40 by a few mm.
FIG. 8, which shows a front view of the lower frame part, illustrates the arrangement of the strike plate 76 according to FIG. 7 and the adjacent strike plate 78 which is intended for the engagement of the tongue exclusion 24 (according to FIG. 1) for the tilted position of the window sash 1.
The striker plates shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 are arranged in the same design and effect at those points in the frame 40 where the tongue exclusions 21, 22 and 25 engage in the frame 40.
From FIG. 7 it can also be seen how the cover rails 8, 9, 10 are connected to one another. For this purpose, the rail 8 has a recess 7'9 at the lower end, into which a correspondingly shaped pin 80 of the cover rail 9 on the underside of the window sash 1 engages. The same connection is also provided between the cover rails 9 and 10. Such connections with the rail 61 of the double scissors can also be made at the upper ends of the lateral cover rails.
So that the sash 1 can tilt, a small distance remains between the bracket 52 of the window frame 40 and the bracket 53 of the sash 1.
If the operating device is to be used for a two-wing window, only a minor change is made. As FIG. 9 shows, the edge fastener 81 is fastened to the right sash as in the case of single-sash windows above the pivot handle 82, the cover rail 83 covering the upper corner area of the sash 85 at its upper end with an angled piece 84. In the push rod 87 carrying the tongue exclusion 86, a locking rod 88 is attached and makes its movements with it.
The locking bar 88 is guided through a bracket 89 connected to the cover rail 83 and passes through the angle piece 84 in order to engage in a locking plate 91 arranged on the frame 90. This striking plate does not have an obliquely angled tab, like the others, but a tab 92 bent at right angles, against which the locking bar 88 rests with one side when it engages the striking plate. This engagement position is also clearly shown in FIG. For easy insertion of the locking bar 88 into the strike plate 91, this has inclined abutment surfaces 93, 94.
If the pivot handle 82 is in the position shown in FIG. 9, the locking rod 88 on the one hand engages in the strike plate 91, on the other hand the tongue exclusions 86, etc. of the edge closures on this side of the sash 85 in strike plates 95, etc. of the other leaf 96. This is therefore pressed quickly against the frame 90 by the wing 85. Since one of the two, not shown in Fig. 9, existing on the underside of the wing 85 tongue exclusions engages in its associated strike plate, an additional lower locking of the wing 85 is not required for this embodiment.
When pivoting the pivot handle 82 to point 97, both the tongue exclusions 86 etc. and the locking rod 88 are pulled out of their anchorages so that first the wing 85 and then the wing 96 can be pivoted into the open position. With a further pivoting of the rotary handle 82 up to point 98, the tongue exclusions 86 etc. and the locking rod 88 are retracted even further via the push rods 87 etc. and the drive rods 99 etc., so that only the one tongue exclusion, not shown engages on the underside of the wing 85 in the associated strike plate.
The wing 85 can be tilted in the manner described above.
