Description
Verbindungselement
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verbindungselement aus einem federnden nachgiebigen Material für einen aufreissbaren Verschluss, wobei das Element einen am einen Ende mit einem Kopf versehenen Schaft aufweist, der über mindestens einen Teil seiner Länge zwei im Abstand voneinander liegende federnde Schenkel bildet, die mit widerhakenartigen Vorsprüngen versehen sind, und dass die Ansatzstelle zwischen Kopf und Schaft als Sollbruchstelle ausgebildet ist.
Nachfolgend wird der Erfindungsgegenstand anhand der Zeichnung beispielsweise näher erläutert. Es zeigt:
Fig. 1 eine Vorderansicht eines Verbindungselementes;
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht des Verbindungselementes nach Fig. 1;
Fig. 3 einen Ausschnitt eines Behälters mit aufgesetztem Deckel und einem Verbindungselement im eingebauten Zustand, und
Fig. 4 einen Ausschnitt einer Draufsicht auf den Behälter nach Fig. 3 ohne Verbindungselement.
Das in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte Verbindungselement 1 besteht aus einem federnd nachgiebigen Kunststoff und weist einen im Querschnitt quadratischen Schaft 2 auf.
Vom einen Ende des Schaftes 2 her erstreckt sich ein Schlitz 3 in Achsrichtung bis über seine Längsmitte in den Schaft hinein und bildet zwei im Abstand voneinander liegende, symmetrische Schenkel 4. Die freien Enden der Schenkel 4 verdicken sich an der Aussenseite allmählich nach hinten bis zu einer Schulter 5 und bilden dabei widerhakenartige Vorsprünge 6. An den den widerhakenartigen Vorsprüngen 6 gegenüberliegenden Enden des Schaftes 2 ist ein Kopf 7 angesetzt. Der Kopf 7 ist als kreisförmige Scheibe ausgebildet, besitzt eine der Schaftdicke entsprechende Dicke und liegt in der gleichen Ebene wie der Schaft, so dass das Verbindungselement in Seitenansicht einen Umriss in Form eines langgestreckten Rechteckes aufweist. Der Ansatz 8 zwischen Kopf 7 und Schaft 2 ist geschwächt und bildet eine Sollbruchstelle.
Verbindungselemente der beschriebenen Art können mit Vorteil zur Herstellung eines aufreissbaren Verschlusses zwischen Behälterrumpf und Deckel verwendet werden. Sie sind besonders vorteilhaft für Behälter der in den Fig. 3 und 4 dargestellten Art, bei welchen am Behälterrumpf 9 und am Deckel 10 seitlich vorstehende Lappen 11 bzw. 12 angebracht sind. Die bei aufgesetztem Deckel übereinanderliegenden Lappen 11, 12 besitzen miteinander fluchtende Bohrungen, in welche das Verbindungselement mit seinem Schaft einsteckbar ist.
Zur Herstellung der Verbindung zwischen Behälterkörper 9 und Deckel 10 wird ein Verbindungselement am Kopf ergriffen und mit seinen widerhakenartigen Vorsprüngen durch die Bohrungen hindurchgesteckt.
Die Schenkel des Verbindungselementes werden dabei gegeneinander gedrückt, so dass die Vorsprünge ohne weiteres durch die Bohrungen hindurch gleiten. Sobald die Vorsprünge aus der unteren Bohrung am Behälterrumpf austreten, spreizen sich die Schenkel des Verbindungselementes, so dass das Element nicht wieder herausgezogen werden kann. Zur Lösung der Verbindung muss der Kopf 7 vom Schaft 2 abgerissen werden.
Um zu verhindern, dass die Vorsprünge in unbefugter Weise mit irgend welchen Werkzeugen zusammengedrückt werden, um das Verbindungselement herauszuziehen, kann ein von der Unterseite des Lappens 11 vorragender Schutzring 13 vorgesehen werden, der die Vorsprünge in kleinem Abstand umgibt. Im gleichen Sinne könnte auch der Lappen 11 eine Aussparung aufweisen, in welcher die Vorsprünge versenkt wären.
Damit kann auf einfache Art eine Verbindung zwischen einem Behälterkörper und einem Deckel hergestellt werden, die ein unbefugtes Abheben des Deckels verhindert.
Der Kopf 7 des Verbindungselementes kann jede geeignete Form aufweisen. Er könnte z. B. auch als eckige Scheibe oder als Kugel ausgebildet werden.

The connecting element 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a resiliently flexible plastic and has a shaft 2 with a square cross section.
From one end of the shaft 2, a slot 3 extends in the axial direction over its longitudinal center into the shaft and forms two symmetrical legs 4 spaced apart from one another. The free ends of the legs 4 gradually thicken on the outside towards the rear a shoulder 5 and thereby form barb-like projections 6. At the ends of the shaft 2 opposite the barb-like projections 6, a head 7 is attached. The head 7 is designed as a circular disk, has a thickness corresponding to the shaft thickness and lies in the same plane as the shaft, so that the connecting element has an outline in the form of an elongated rectangle in a side view. The approach 8 between head 7 and shaft 2 is weakened and forms a predetermined breaking point.
Connecting elements of the type described can advantageously be used to produce a tear-open seal between the container body and the lid. They are particularly advantageous for containers of the type shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, in which the container body 9 and the lid 10 have laterally protruding tabs 11 and 12, respectively. The flaps 11, 12 lying one on top of the other when the cover is in place have holes which are aligned with one another, into which the connecting element can be inserted with its shaft.
To establish the connection between the container body 9 and the lid 10, a connecting element is gripped on the head and its barb-like projections are pushed through the bores.
The legs of the connecting element are pressed against each other so that the projections slide easily through the bores. As soon as the projections emerge from the lower bore on the container body, the legs of the connecting element spread so that the element cannot be pulled out again. To release the connection, the head 7 must be torn off from the shaft 2.
In order to prevent the projections from being pressed together in an unauthorized manner with any tools in order to pull out the connecting element, a protective ring 13 protruding from the underside of the tab 11 can be provided which surrounds the projections at a small distance. In the same sense, the tab 11 could also have a recess in which the projections would be sunk.
In this way, a connection between a container body and a lid can be established in a simple manner, which connection prevents unauthorized lifting of the lid.
The head 7 of the connecting element can have any suitable shape. He could e.g. B. can also be designed as a square disc or a ball.
