V= ad3
Beispiel 3
Process for the production of carrier granules for one from powdery fertilizers or
Pesticide existing casing
The production of layer granules from fertilizer-active substances is known. In this case, a grain of at least 1 mm, at most 3 mm in size is formed with Thomas flour and / or finely ground, preferably soft-earthed rock phosphate by granulating with water or binder solutions and this is then formed with a layer of at least 1 mm, at most 5 mm thick or containing superphosphate Envelopes nutrient mixtures and / or other water-soluble phosphoric acid-containing salts.
Furthermore, such layered granules can also be produced in that a core consisting of Thomas flour or a mixture of Thomas flour with rock phosphate, instead of superphosphate, multi-nutrient mixtures containing this or other salts containing water-soluble phosphoric acid, now with a layer of finely ground, only partially with sulfuric acid or Phosphoric acid digested rock phosphate is coated.
The invention described below is based on the idea of finely powdered to finely ground substances, in particular fertilizers that are difficult to granulate, such as Thomas flour or calcium cyanamide or pesticides, 0.1 to 3.5 mm, preferably 0.3 to 1.5 mm, large carrier granules with Using aqueous binder solutions to set.
Such carrier granules can be sifted to a grain size of 0.5 to 2 mm, lignite or hard coal, ash, clay or other substances that are worthless and indifferent and do not react with the substance to be fixed on them or, preferably, fertilizer granules that are also easy are to be produced and have an interesting, additional fertilizing effect.
It was found that the raw phosphate coming from the rock phosphate pits, unground, but in steak 'kiger form, with a maximum grain size of 5 mm, possibly broken rock phosphate, which is already present in this form in the smallest grains to granules, initially in one of the known mixer or
in granulators, such as, for example, in screw mixers or vortex mixers, plate or double-shaft glanulators, with concentrated, preferably insufficient mineral acid, such as sulfuric, phosphoric, nitric or hydrochloric acid, optionally with the addition of water, in order to remove the resulting from this reaction The heat of dilution to be used for the digestion and drying process is mixed, with granulate cores of the desired size, preferably those of 0.3 to 1.5 mm in diameter, being produced by the rotary movement taking place in the apparatus mentioned.
It is up to you to determine the size precisely by subsequently sieving and breaking portions that are too large.
The uniform core granulate obtained in this way, in which the action of mineral acids and water on the unground rock phosphate particles and the resulting high degree of heat release the surface of the granules in question in such a way that the agglomeration granules that form during further rotation, depending on the amount of acid used , consist of more or less digested rock phosphate particles, has the same, and sometimes even better, fertilizing effect than a flour made from it, even without grinding.
The usual grinding is not necessary.
The nature of the structure of the agglomeration granules and their chemical composition or the resulting proportions of the various phosphoric acid solubilities of the products produced in this way also ensure that such granules do not react directly with this when introduced into the soil, which u. a. the water-soluble phosphoric acid contained in them is not fixed or converted, but continuously to the plant; It is available, which primarily explains the particularly good fertilizing effect of such products.
This type of direct treatment of the unground rock phosphate with, preferably, concentrated mineral acids, not only makes the expensive grinding process superfluous, but also the drying process and, moreover, an additional granulation process due to the strong heat that occurs.
It is a partially digested P205 granulate, which is made from raw phosphate that is not limited in its grain size, possibly broken, but not ground, directly from the pit, which can be produced using other nutrients, including PK, NP or NPK granules The aim of the present invention is to create a combined granulate, the core granules described above to serve as a carrier for Thomas meal, calcium cyanamide, pesticides or other fertilizers that are normally difficult to granulate or react with the core mass.
This also includes the subsequent application of molten salts, preferably nitrogen salts, such as. B. urea or ammonium nitrate melts.
According to the invention, this should be done in such a way that the core granulate obtained then, optionally with the use of suitable inorganic or organic binders, preferably aqueous solutions of soda waterglass, sodium cellulose glycolate, molasses or residues resulting from molasses processing, for example those from citric acid or fuel production , with Thomas meal or calcium cyanamide and / or other substances, which in addition to actual fertilizers also include pesticides, sulfur, trace elements and growth substances, is granulated or fixed.
The core granules formed from rock phosphate or possibly also from rock phosphate and potash salts or mixtures of rock phosphate, potash and ammonium sulfate or other nutrients which do not become volatile or which react disadvantageously when mineral acids are added can contain between 0.1 and 4, preferably 0 , 3 to 3mm.
Based on the formula
V = ad3
6 results, for example, for a rock phosphate granulate with a diameter of 1 mm = 0.523 mm 3, which corresponds to 0.68 mg rock phosphate.
At 2 mm diameter = 4.18 mm3 or
5.45 mg rock phosphate,
At 3 mm diameter = 14.1 mm3 or
18.3 mg rock phosphate,
If, for example, a 1 mm core granulate is granulated with Thomas flour to form: a) 2 mm granulate, then this contains
Total granulate approx. 7 "/ e rock phosphate and 93 O / o Thomas flour, b) 3 mm granulate, then contains the
Total granulate approx. 2% rock phosphate and 98% thomas flour.
If a 2 mm core granulate made of rock phosphate is also granulated with Thomas flour to form 3 mm granulate, then the total granulate contains around 13% rock phosphate and 87% Thomas flour.
If a 3 mm core granulate from rock phosphate is converted into a 5 mm total granulate, then this contains 11 rock phosphate and 89% Thomas flour.
If calcium cyanamide or other substances are used instead of Thomas flour, the spec. Weight the corresponding percentages in the granules made from them.
These behave differently again if, instead of or in addition to such granules, melts of urea or ammonium nitrate are applied and fixed on the surface.
The determination of calcium cyanamide, for example with the help of an aqueous waterglass solution, on the carrier granulate consisting of partially digested rock phosphate or its mixture with potassium chloride and optionally ammonium sulfate also shows a new and interesting way to use calcium cyanamide in granular form and at the same time together with other nutrients.
If such granules, which are fixed on carrier granules and contain Thomas meal or calcium cyanamide as an outer shell, get into the soil, then as a result of the alkaline reaction the water-soluble PO is converted into the nitrate-soluble form, which is not to be regarded as a disadvantage.
It can be seen from the above examples that the weight percentage of the core granulate need only be small if this is desired.
On the other hand, since the kernels play an essential role in the processing of Thomas meal or calcium cyanamide into durable, abrasion-resistant granules, especially because the plant-physiological effect of the core granules produced according to the invention is particularly good, as numerous detailed plant-physiological experiments have shown The production method is to be regarded as an interesting technical advance, above all because it shows a simple, hitherto unknown way of removing Thomas flour or calcium cyanamide and possibly other nutrients, such as urea or ammonium nitrate, on the surface of the previously formed from partially , closed rock phosphate, which may be mixed with other nutrients,
such as potassium chloride or ammonium sulfate, and trace elements can be present to determine existing nuclei.
In this way, easily soluble and abrasion-resistant granules are obtained at the same time. When Thomas phosphate is applied as a shell to the cores, which also contain P, O, it is achieved at the same time that more and more is achieved through the introduction of the new processes in the steel industry, here primarily the LD, LDAC or OLP processes Any loss of Thomas phosphate that appears is compensated for by the creation of these new, fertilising granules.
Execution examples
1. In a twin-shaft paddle mixer, 700 kgJh North African, 34.2 "/ o PgOg containing rock phosphate from Morocco are initially moistened with 35 l / h water when the rock phosphate falls into the mixer and then in the first third of the mixer with 91 l / h H2SO4 specific gravity 1.84 treated continuously.
This produces granules with a diameter of about 1 mm, 28 / o total P205 and 15 / o citric acid-soluble P205, which leave the mixer at a temperature of about 90 and fall into a 4 m diameter and 600 mm deep granulating plate. by adding 9.3 kg / h of Thomas flour with 14.5 / o citric acid soluble and 18 / o total P205 with the addition
1 m 3 / h of a waste liquor from the fuel production, diluted to 20% organic substance, can be granulated into granules 2 mm in diameter.
The granules obtained are artificially dried in a downstream drying drum at 110 ° C. Hard and abrasion-resistant photos, phate granules with 18.7% total P2O5 and 14.5 / o citric acid-soluble pros are obtained in this way.
2. In the same way as described in Example 1, 1200 kg / h of 1 mm granules with 9600 kg / h of calcium cyanamide are produced from 68 parts of partially digested rock phosphate and 32 parts of potassium chloride and then contain 18/0 P205 and 18 / o K2O determined with 21% N using 11501 of a water glass solution of 10 Be and the granules obtained were dried.
This gives mixed fertilizer granules containing 18% N, 2% P2O5 and 2% K2O.
Example 3
90 parts by weight of the 0.3 to 1 mm in size produced as in Example 1 in a twin-shaft paddle mixer by treating unground morocco phosphate (34.2 / o P205) with the addition of 5% by weight of water and then 24% by weight of sulfuric acid of 98.2 / o H2SO4 , 28 "/ o total P2O5 and 8% water-soluble P2O5 containing partially digested phosphate diinger fine granules are continuously enveloped in an annular channel around a granulating plate with 7.95 parts by weight of a 38 / o aldrin-containing kanzentrats, which is coated with simultaneous addition of 2,
05 parts by weight of a water glass-containing granulating solution of 10 Be on these P-granules.
In this way, a granulated pest control agent is obtained that is effective against earth flies, root fly larvae, etc., the core of which also has a good P2O5 fertilizer effect.
Example 4
Of the fine granules prepared in Example 2 and containing 180 / o P205 and 18 / o K2O, 92 parts by weight with 6 parts by weight of a 50% concentrate of gammahexachlorocyclohexane in batches of 1000 kg are intimately mixed together in a drum mixer and at the same time 2 parts by weight of a sulphite waste liquor sprayed from 15 Bc.
The sulphite waste liquor fixes the concentrate on the surface of the PK 18118 granules and after a relatively short storage time the active ingredient shell has attached to the carrier granules so that relatively abrasion-resistant granules are created that can be filled into bags a short time later.
Example 5
1000 kg per hour of a mixture consisting of 320 kg of unmilled morocco phosphate 75/74 / o, 190 kg of potassium chloride with 60 / o K2O and 490 kg of ammonium sulfate with 21 oxo N are mixed in a twin-shaft paddle mixer with 1301 of a waste sulfuric acid with 56.5% H2SO4 intimately mixed and at the same time converted into granules 0.5 to 1.5mm in size, which are then dried in an oil-heated drying drum to a water content of about 1.5 / o H2O and cooled down in a vortex cooler to a maximum of 35 C and then in a Intermediate silo are stored.
The granules obtained in the above-mentioned grain size range by sieving about 3% tuber or undersize grain are then brought from the silo in batches of 500 kg into continuously rotating vessels designed in the manner of coating drums, into which 25 kg of a 15% dichloro are simultaneously placed Introduces diphenyl-tri chloroethane concentrate and sets this on the surface of the granules by adding about 20 l, calculated on the 500 kg batch, of a thickened waste liquor of 20 Be occurring in the biological citric acid production.
After a storage time of about 8 hours, a granulated pesticide with a fertilizing effect is obtained. In this case, after spreading in the soil, the DDT cover acts first on the pests and then the core, which contains 10% N, 10% P2O5 and 10 / o K2O, acts as a fertilizer.
