Fig. 3 und 3a zeigen ein zweipoliges Magnetsystem.
142 an.
Fig. 10b3 zeigt einen.
Knitting machine The invention relates to a knitting machine, in particular a circular knitting machine, with at least one knitting point, and pattern devices of the type in which each needle is assigned a mechanism which can be brought into action magnetically and which, when triggered, the needle belonging to the mechanism there is a movement in a knitting position, or an initial movement from which the needle with lock cams is brought into a knitting position.
In order to make the needles at each knitting point in accordance with the pattern in one or the other knitting position, mechanical devices are known that are operated by elec tromagnets and select certain needles that are to be brought into a knitting position. In this way, certain conditions and certain patterns, including color patterns, can be generated. At the high working speed of knitting machines and circular knitting machines in particular, high-frequency electromagnets must be arranged which are able to operate at the high working speeds at which e.g. 500 needles in one second to select the electromagnet pass by, acting on the needles from needle to needle.
For this purpose, according to earlier proposals by the same applicant, each needle is provided with a mechanism where the needle is raised for the purpose of transition from one track to another and brought onto the rising curve that generates the further movement of the needle shall be. The mechanism must therefore be able to act on the needle at the knitting point. This mechanism has the property that it can be brought into function by an easily operated lever.
Since the aim of the present invention is to improve the magnets that trigger the mechanisms moving past them or not at each rope, that is to say they function or not, the description of the invention with reference to the drawings continues Listed in detail below and described below, only one example of a mechanism and only one example of the arrangement of the mechanism to the knitting needles, the embodiment being selected according to the prior German patent no. 1223 984, in which a mechanism is assigned to each knitting needle in the needle cylinder.
The invention of course also relates to Rundstrickma machines with structurally different mechanisms than those described above, insofar as these mechanisms have the same function and are easily magnetically activated.
In all known sample devices of the type in question, electromagnets are used as holding and / or control magnets. The use of electromagnets as a holding and control magnet has the disadvantage that when the machine is switched off and the current is switched off, the levers or spring bars of the mechanism that brings the needle into the initial movement that are held by the holding magnet or control magnet at that time fall off that after switching on the machine and the magnetic current again, pattern errors occur at this point in the knitted fabric.
This means that every time the machine is stopped, there is a high probability that a pattern error will occur at every knitting point.
The invention eliminates this disadvantage in that the magnet controlling the mechanism at each work station is a soft iron pole piece of a permanent magnet surrounded by an electrical coil, so that the magnetic force field of this pole piece can be weakened or compensated or reversed by energizing the coil is.
A preferred embodiment is designed so that consequently holding magnets and control magnet are permanent magnets whose soft iron pole pieces are divided at ih rem end and one of the two pole piece ends created by the division is surrounded by a coil connected to an electrical power source, which when they receives a current pulse, weakens or compensates the force field of this end of the pole or reverses the polarity into a weak opposing field.
The magnet system can be arranged in such a way that the spring bars can be pivoted approximately perpendicular to the magnetic pole end faces lying in one plane.
The soft iron pole pieces of the permanent magnet preferably run approximately parallel to one another and end in one plane. Each of the two pole pieces thus forms a pole piece surface. The two surfaces run parallel to each other and at right angles to the feather rods. Three pole shoes can also be provided, the end surfaces of which also run parallel to one another. The air gap between the pole ends is preferably filled with a non-magnetizable material that is very hard and serves as a sliding surface for the spring rod.
The spring rods expediently rest in their tensioned position on all two or three pole shoe surfaces. The hard surface filling the air gap between the pole ends can serve as a sliding surface. Sapphire stone has proven to be a suitable material.
A part of at least one end of the pole piece preferably acts as a control magnet. For this purpose, the pole piece in question can be provided with a cut-out that breaks the pole face and one leg can be surrounded by a coil so that the permanent force field can be weakened or compensated or reversed by energizing the coil.
So that the spring rod rests evenly on all two or three pole faces in the tensioned state, i.e. in the standby position, the magnet systems can be pivotably attached to a fixed part of the machine, so that their position is in the correct position to the standby position, i.e. in the tensioned position located spring stick is adjustable.
In order to avoid adjustability of the magnet systems, instead of the non-magnetic insert (sapphire) a cylinder can be provided between the pole pieces, which is connected to the pole piece faces and consists of a core made of non-magnetizable material. Only the jacket part resting on the pole pieces is expediently made of magnetizable material.
The part of the cylinder protruding from the pole end surfaces can be flattened, so that by rotating the cylinder around its axis without moving the magnet system, the contact of all magnetic poles on the spring rods in the ready position can be adjusted because the magnetic poles are continued in the two magnetizable casing parts that of course have no connection above the flattened part.
With such a magnet system, the levers or the spring bars remain in the locked position even when the machine is switched off and the current is switched off and do not fall off when the machine is at a standstill.
The various embodiments of the Magnetsy stems are explained in the following description with reference to the drawings.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing.

FIGS. 1 and 1 a, which, as said, show the needle actuation mechanism on a circular knitting machine needle cylinder, show a mechanism which essentially corresponds to the subject matter of German Patent No. 1223,984. 11 is the needle cylinder, in whose channels the knitting needles 12, the pusher 13 and the springs 14 are housed. Furthermore, with a clamping device 15, all spring rods 16 are firmly connected at one end to the needle cylinder.
The spring rod 16 has at its free end a hook 16a which engages in an oppositely directed hook 13a of the pusher 13 when the spring rod 16, as shown in FIG. 1, is in a relaxed position. The cylinder is surrounded by the lock jacket 17, which has the various tracks and curves for the needle flows 12 'and the ram feet 13', which are located on the needles in a known manner and protrude into the guides (lock curves) on the inner wall of the lock jacket 17 .
The spring 14 tends to push the pusher 13 upwards, where the upper edge of its foot 13 'abuts the lower edge of the curve 18 and lifts the knitting needles 12 when moving upwards and brings them into a knitting track.
The lower guide 19 for the pusher feet 13 'and the lower guide 20 for the needle feet 12' is the so-called non-knitting track. If the needle feet move in this track, they do not receive any axial movement. However, if they are lifted by the pushers 10 so that they, like the second needle, come from the right with their foot on the rising curve 21, then the upward movement of the needle into the containment position takes place. The curve 22, which belongs to the previous knitting system, has the needles that were in the containment position,
pushed back down into the non-knitting track 20. In the drawing, however, all two needles from the left are already in the non-knitting track, i.e. not active in this system. The pushrods also have a lifting curve 23 below the curve 18 that limits the upward movement of the pusher and brings the upwardly pushed pusher back onto the non-knitting track 19 in part 18a. The curve 23 only comes into action as a lifting part of the curve when (as FIG. 1 a shows) the 4th, 5th and 6th pushers 13 (counting from the left) receives an upward movement.
Each pusher 13 receives this upward movement from the associated spring 14 when the same is no longer locked by the spring rod 16. The spring 14 pushes the pusher 13 upwards until their feet are captured by the beginning of the rising curve 23 and this curve brings the pusher further up and the needles 12 also upward by means of their feet 12 'on their knitting curve 21.
Those pushrods which pass through the deepest part 18b of the curve 18 and are held in this low position by the hooked spring rod 16 during this time up to below the curve 23, of course, do not move upwards and the associated needles remain in the non-knitting track 20.
Depending on whether from the moment in which the pusher foot 13 'leaves the lower horizontal part 18b' of the curve 18 by moving to the right by rotating the cylinder 11 in the direction of the arrow, the pusher is selected or sorted out that are to be released from those pushers that are to move on in their lower position on the non-knitting lane 19.
This also results in the selection of the needles that are to be brought from their non-knitting track 20 into a knitting position, either in the uppermost containment position or in the catch position. Which of the two positions the knitting needles are brought into is determined by the rising cam 21.
The command as to whether the plunger should perform a nadelverschie Bende movement or not, gives the magnet system M, the various Ausführungsmög possibilities shown in detail in FIGS. 3 to 15 and are described below.
Fig. 2 shows an overall picture of a circular knitting machine with a plurality of work stations, six of which are visible. The needle cylinder 11 is visible; desglei chen the lock jacket 17 and six thread feed points 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29. Six magnet systems M are visible, one of which is provided for each knitting point.
Fig. 3 and 3a show a two-pole magnet system. The two soft iron pole pieces 31 and 32 are attached to the pole surfaces of the circular or also square permanent magnet 30. The pole shoes run parallel to one another downwards and are inclined towards one another at their free ends. The narrow gap between the pole ends is filled with a sapphire 33. The pole piece 32 has a recess 32a, so that part of the pole piece has an almost square cross-section and is wound with a coil 34 which is connected to a power source.
Below the coil, the recess 32a narrows to a narrow slot 32b, which magnetically breaks the connection of the right part of the pole piece to the left part of the pole piece (Figure 3). The magnetic interruption of the pole shoes 31 and 32 takes place through the aforementioned sapphire 33. The lower pole faces 31c and 32c lie on one plane. The spring rods 16 rest on this plane at right angles to the direction of extent of the air gap filled by the sapphire 33 when they are in a tensioned position.
As FIG. 3 shows, all spring bars 16 are moved to the right in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 3 during the movement of their carrier, for example the needle cylinder 11, and are brought into the tensioned position by a curve 35, where they are held by the permanent magnet, as shown in FIG 3a shows. If the coil 34 receives current, then the left part of the pole piece 32 is compensated or reversed, so that the spring rod 16 at the end 35a of the curve falls into the relaxed position 16 ', in which, according to FIG. 1, it prevents the associated pusher 13 from moving takes up locking position.
Receives. the coil 34 does not have any current, then the spring bars 16 remain on the pole faces 31c and 32c to the right end of the pole shoes, where they fall off and move into the position according to FIG. In the area of the curve 18a, i.e. in front of the magnet system M (Fig. La), all pushers 13, provided they are not already in the non-knitting track 19, are pushed back down by the curve part 18a and snap into the locking position for the spring rods 16 who are all relaxed at this point.
For this reason, the hook ends 13a on the pusher and 16a on the spring rod are beveled (FIG. 1). In the area of the curve 18b, the push rods are held against upward movement by the curve part 18b. The selection takes place in the area of this curve part 18b.
In the area of this curve part lies the stationary curve 35, which brings all the spring rods 16 without resistance, since the pushers are held by the curve part 18b (Fig.l), in their tensioned position, i.e. in the position in which they do not lock and then immediately within the curve part 18b, depending on whether the coil 34 is energized or not, fall into the locking position according to FIG. 1, or remain in its non-locking clamping position until they drop in the area of the curve 23, namely on right end of control pole 31 there,
where the sapphire closing the pole gap extends slightly beyond the pole pieces. The purpose of the sapphire protruding beyond the right end of the pole piece is that the stray force field flux on the end face of the pole piece does not prevent the spring rod from falling off immediately. The spring rod is therefore guided beyond the effective leakage flux area of the pole end.
The curve 35 is firmly connected to the lock jacket 17. According to FIG. 1, the magnet system M is fastened to the lock casing 17 by means of a holder 36 and the curve 35 is fastened to a magnetic pole. The connection 37 of the curve 35 with the pole piece must consist of non-magnetic material. As FIG. 4 a clearly shows, the spring rod 16 lies with its upper edge fully on the lower surfaces of the sapphire 33 and the pole shoes 31 and 32, which are in one plane.
It will be necessary to achieve the exact full system of the spring rod 16 to make the magnets adjustable so that the position of the upper edge of the tensioned spring rod 16 can be precisely adjusted to the lower surface of the magnetic poles as shown in FIG. This adjustability of the magnets is not shown in the drawing, since it can be achieved with simple and known means.
Fig.4 and Fig.4a show the same magnet system as Fig.3, namely the permanent magnet 30 with its two parallel to each other downwards he stretching soft iron pole pieces 32 and 31, which are bent towards each other at the bottom. The air slot of the pole piece ends located between the two perpendicular parallel end faces is filled with the sapphire 33 extending over the entire length of the pole shoes, the lower face of which ends in the plane in which the pole shoes 31 and 32 with their end faces 31c and 32c are located.
In the tensioned state, the spring rod 16 lies, as already mentioned, at right angles to the direction of extension of the sapphire 33 on the entire surface which is formed by the lower surface of the sapphire 33 and the lower surfaces 31c and 32c of the pole shoes. As already mentioned in the description of FIGS. 3 and 3a, it is useful to make the magnet system adjustable so that the full contact of the upper edge of the spring rod 16 can be adjusted in the tensioned state on the end faces of the poles.
4 and 4a also show the curve 35, which bring all the spring rods 16 into the force field of the magnet system at the point in time described above, namely when the ram feet 13 'come into the area of the curve part 18b of the ram guide curve 18.
The curve 35 is verbun by means of the curve holder 37 made of non-magnetic material with the pole piece 32 the. The difference between the magnet according to the drawing Fig. 4, 4a and the magnet according to the drawing Fig. 3, 3a is that according to FIGS. 4 and 4a the soft iron pole shoe 31 as well as the soft iron pole shoe 32 have a recess 31a and 32a have and the left (Fig. 4) of the recess 31a and 32a located part of both pole shoes is surrounded by a coil 34 and 34a, so that the left of the recesses 31a and 31a respectively.
32a located pole shoe part can be compensated when the coils 34 and 34a are energized.
The recesses 31a and 32 narrow at the lower end of the pole shoes to form a narrow air gap 31b and 32b. This ensures that the spring bars are either held in the tensioned position up to the air gap or are safely released when the polarity is reversed.
FIGS. 5 and 5a show a magnet system with three pole pieces. With the middle soft iron pole piece 38, both parallel side surfaces of this pole piece are connected at the upper end, each with a permanent magnet 39 and 40 of circular or square cross-section, the outer surfaces of which are each connected to a soft iron pole piece 41, 42 running parallel to the middle pole piece 38. The two outer pole shoes 41, 42 are bent at their lower end towards the end of the central pole shoe 38.
The vertical end faces of the pole piece ends run parallel to the end of the center pole piece 38. The two air gaps are each filled with a sapphire 43 and 44, respectively. The lower surfaces of the pole shoes <B> 38e, </B> 41c and 42c and the lower surfaces 43c and 44c of the sapphire stones lie in one plane. The magnet system is set in such a way that the spring bars 16 lie fully against this plane with their surface. . The middle pole piece 38 has a recess 38a which narrows down to the air slot 38b.
The narrow left pole piece end (FIG. 5) produced by the cutout 38a is surrounded by a coil 43 which compensates for this part of the pole piece 38 when the coil is energized. In this state, the tightened spring bars 16 are dropped. The curve 35 brings the spring bars from the relaxed position 16a into the tensioned position. It is connected to one outer pole 42 by the non-magnetic curve holder 37.
Another possible embodiment of the three-pole magnet system is shown in FIGS. 6, 6a and 6b. This magnet system also has two permanent magnets, which are designed to be square according to FIG. 6, but nevertheless have been given the reference numerals 39 and 40, as in FIG. The two permanent magnets are located on the center pole piece 38 and their outer surfaces are connected to the outer pole pieces 41 and 42. The vertical inner surfaces of the outer pole pieces together with the vertical ends of the center pole piece 38 form two air gaps.
Both air gaps are filled with a sapphire 43 and 44. The lower surfaces of the sapphire rods and pole pieces 41c, 43e, 38c, 44c and 42c lie in one plane. The spring bars 16 resting in a tensioned position lie with their surface fully on this surface. The spring rods are brought into the tensioned position by the curve 35, in which they are held by the completely permanent magnet system and fall behind the curve 35 into the relaxed spring rod layer 16 'when the force field of one part of the magnet system is compensated.
The compensation takes place in the magnet system according to FIGS. 6, 6a and 6b by two coils on the outer pole shoes 41 and 42, which for this purpose have the recess 41a and 42a, which end in narrow air gaps 41b and 42b at the bottom. The narrow left pole piece (FIG. 6) of each pole piece 41 and 42 created by the recess is surrounded by a coil 44 and 44a, respectively. The curve 35 is connected to the one pole piece 42 by means of the non-magnetic curve holder 37.
Fig. 6b shows a cross section through the Magnetsy system along the section line VIb-VIb in Fig. 6 and 6a. It shows the lower parts of the three pole pieces 41, 38 and 42, the recesses 41a and 42a in the lower part of the outer pole pieces and the resulting narrow (left, Fig. 6) pole piece ends surrounded by the coils 44 and 44a indicated by dashed lines are.
The lower surfaces 41c, 38c and 42c extend over the entire length of the magnets and are interrupted by the air gap 41b and 42b in the case of the pole pieces which can be partially compensated, ie in the case of the pole pieces 41 and 42.
Fig. 6b also shows the extension of the sapphire stones 43 and 44 beyond the right end (see also Fig. 6) of the pole piece ends. The meaning and purpose of this extension has already been given above.
It has already been mentioned above that the spring rods 16 in the tensioned state in which they are held on the pole pieces must rest with their upper edge well on the lower surfaces of the two or three pole pieces lying in one plane. In order to be able to adjust this system precisely, it is provided, as mentioned above, that each magnet system is pivotable about an axis which is perpendicular to the plane in which the mechanism lever is pivotable, which the. Spring rod 16 of the in Fig. 3 to 10 described magnet systems.
This is the plane of the drawing in FIGS. 3a, 4a, 5a and 6a (and in FIGS. 7a to 10a). The magnet system must of course be detectable in the adjusted position. It has already been mentioned that this adjustability and lockability of the Magnetsy stems is not shown in the drawing, since it is a simple construction that is familiar to anyone skilled in the art.
The magnet systems shown in FIGS. 7 to 10 correspond essentially to the magnet systems of FIGS. 3 to 6. They only differ in that the pole ends without an air gap are attached to a cylinder Z which extends in the width direction of the magnet poles and can be rotated and locked around its axis issue. The pole ends are thus, seen in longitudinal section, as shown in FIGS. 7, 8, 9 and 10, designed in the shape of a circular arc.
Depending on whether the magnet system has two or three poles, the cylinder has two or three segments made of magnetic Shem material, which end at a surface F machined on the cylinder, against which the tensioned spring rods 16 rest with their surface.
The segments of magnetic material are separated from one another by non-magnetic material, e.g. Mes sing, separated in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder, that is, in its axial direction, while the segments made of magnetic material that end on the surface F each bear against one of the two or three concave pole piece ends. The part of the segment made of magnetic material which rests against a compensatable pole piece part is separated from the segment part which rests on the non-compensable part of the pole piece by an air gap running transversely to the cylinder Z.
The segments made of magnetic material are the continuation of the pole piece ends up to the surface F on which the spring bars 16 rest when they are held in the tensioned state by the permanent magnet and from which they fall off when the coil of the compensatable pole piece or parts receives power . The cylinder is rotatable about its axis, so that the area F can be adjusted precisely to the spring rod 16 in the tensioned state. This position can be determined.
This avoids the adjustability of the entire magnet system.
FIGS. 7 and 7a show the magnet system according to FIG. 3, which differs from this system according to FIG. The cylinder Z is shown in detail in FIGS. 7b1 to 7b4.
Fig. 7b1 is a side view of the cylinder corresponding to Fig. 7a.
Fig. 7b2 is a top view of the cylinder in the direction of arrow VIIb2 in Fig. 7a.
FIG. 7b3 is a cross section through the cylinder along section line VIIb2 in FIG. 7b1.
Fig. 7b4 is the view of the cylinder in the direction of the arrow VIIM in Fig. 7b2.
The two pole pieces 131 and 132 rest on the two end faces of the circular permanent magnet 130, which can also be square.
The cylinder has two segments 45 and 46 made of magnetic material, of which the segment 45 rests against the end of the pole piece 131 and the segment 46 rests against the end of the pole piece 132. The surface F, which is at the bottom when the cylinder is inserted (FIGS. 7 and 7a) is located is interrupted in the longitudinal direction by the over the entire length of the cylinder Z extending sapphire stone 133. The segments 45 and 46 end at the Seitenflä surfaces of the sapphire. The cylinder body 47 consists of a non-magnetizable material.
The cutout 131a in the pole piece 132 does not narrow at the lower end of the pole piece, as in the case of the magnet systems according to FIGS. 3 to 6, to an air gap, but is open in its entire width b at the bottom.
The two pole piece ends of the pole piece 131 are magnetically elongated in the longitudinal direction of the magnet system, that is, in the axial direction of the cylinder Z, by the segments 45 and 46. The segments are, however, according to the air gap, e.g. 32b in FIG. 3, interrupted in its part adjoining the surface F by a narrow incision 48 in the cylinder body. This incision 48 goes so deep on the side facing the compensable pole piece end that it separates segment 45 magnetically.
To enlarge the magnetic separation point 48, a triangular cutout 49 is provided where the segment 45 is located in the area of the cutout 131a (FIG. 7), which improves the magnetic separation. The separating slot 48 at the lower end of the segment, that is to say where the segment 45 merges into the surface F, is narrower than a spring rod 16 is wide. The reason for this is that the spring bar 16 must never run past a point on the surface F in the longitudinal direction of the magnet system at which it is not magnetically controlled.
It is in particular the spring rods, which are held by the compensable permanent = Polschuhendteil in the tensioned state and from the right non-polar permanent Polschuhendteil until they drop at the right end (Fig. 7a) of the Magnetsy stems.
At the end at which the spring rods that have remained sticking in the clamping position fall off, a screwdriver slot 50 is incorporated in the cylinder Z, on which the bent end 51a of an adjusting lever 51 engages, which has a slot 52 that is circular in relation to the cylinder axis of rotation (FIGS. 7 and 7a ) through which a screw 53 screwed into the pole piece 131 reaches and locks the locking lever 51 in the tightened state and thus fixes the position of the surface F.
The free end 52b of the locking lever is intended as a handle with which the lever 51 and thus the cylinder Z can be adjusted with respect to the position of its surface F.
8, 8a and 8b1 to 8b4 show, like FIG. 4, a two-pole magnet system in which each pole piece is subdivided so that a part of each pole piece can be compensated. The permanent magnet 130 is circular (or square) in cross-section and carries the pole pieces 131 and 132 on its two side faces. Each of the two pole pieces is provided with a cutout 131a or 132a, so that a narrow leg is formed on each pole piece, and although with an almost square cross-section and each of these legs is wound with a coil 134a or 134.
The separation of the pole-reversible legs from the non-pole-reversible legs of each pole piece by means of the cutouts 131a or 132a takes place in the constant width b of the cutouts up to the lower end of the pole shoes. The cutouts 131a and 132a are completely open at the bottom.
The cylinder Z 'shown in FIGS. 8b1 to 8b4, which is rotatable between the pole piece ends, differs from the cylinder Z of FIG. 7 in that it has two notches 49'a and 49'b which are opposite one another and ensure that the magnetic connection between the two ends of each pole piece is well interrupted. The magnetic segment 45 'of the cylinder rests on the pole piece end 131, specifically on the compensatable part as well as on the non-compensable part. The segment is interrupted between these two parts by the wedge-shaped incision 49'a.
At the end of the pole piece 132 lies the cylinder segment 46 ', which is interrupted in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder by the wedge-shaped incision 49'b. The Zylin derkörper made of non-magnetic material is denoted by 47 '. The narrow air gap 48 ', which opens into the surface F' and which interrupts the flow of lines of force from the pole that can be reversed to the non-reversible leg in the cylinder segments 46 'and 45' on the surface F ', is shown in FIG. 8b1 and FIG. 8b2 clearly visible.
As already mentioned in FIG. 7, the air gap 48 'is narrower than a spring rod 16 is wide. The rear end in the direction of movement of the spring rod towards the cylinder Z 'in its axial direction, which is on the right-hand side in FIG. 8a, shows the sapphire stone 133 protruding slightly from the cylinder face. Above is the screwdriver slot 50' into which the bent The end 51'a of the cylinder adjusting lever 51 'engages.
As shown in FIG. 8a, the adjusting lever can be locked in the set pivot position by means of the screw 53 '. If it is not mentioned nicely, it should be said here that the adjusting lever is preferably made of non-magnetizable material. The running surface of the spring bars 16 on the lower part of the cylinder Z 'is marked with F'.
It should be noted that in the present case, in which one leg of both pole pieces 131 and 132 can be compensated, the coils of the two opposite poles are wound in the opposite direction of the coil. The approach of the spring rod 16 from the position 16 'to the surface F' is concerned with the curve 35 as with the other magnet systems.
9 show a three-pole magnet system with a coil on one leg of the center pole shoe with a cylinder Z "which is adjustable and lockable by rotation about its axis, resting against the pole shoe ends. The magnet system corresponds to the magnet systems in FIG. 5. It only differs in this way that the rotatable cylinder Z ″ is provided, which is intended to facilitate the adjustment of the contact between the spring bars 16 and the pole shoe end faces. Like the system according to FIG. 5, the system has two permanent magnets 139 and 140.
One of the end faces of these two magnets each rests on the side faces of the central pole 138. The outer pole piece 141 rests on the outer surface of the permanent magnet 139 and the side face of the other outer pole piece 142 rests on the outer surface of the other permanent magnet 140. The free ends of the pole pieces are shaped so that they sit tightly on the jacket of the cylinder Z ″. The tight support is necessary so that there is no air gap between the cylinder and the pole piece ends.
The permanent magnets 139 and 140 can, of course, also be adapted to the pole shoe surface resting against it, in that these magnets are square. The middle pole piece 138 is divided at its lower end by the cutout 138a, so that a narrow leg 138a 'and a wide leg 138a "are present. The coil 143 is on the narrow leg 138a'. The outer pole pieces 141 and 142 are located with their end faces in their entire width on the cylinder Z ".
The spring rods 16 are brought into their tensioned position by the curve 35, in which they are held on the continuations 60, 61, 62 of the pole pieces and remain attached to the end of the pole piece cylinder surface F "or from which they fall off according to the pattern when the Center pole is compensated by a pulse that the coil 143 receives.
The curve 35 is held by the curve holder 37, which is made of non-magnetic material and is connected to the pole piece 142. The cylinder Z ″ is shown in various views in FIGS. 9b1 to 9b4.
9b1 shows the cylinder seen from the side corresponding to FIG. 9: FIG. 9b2 shows the top view, that is to say in the direction of the arrow 1: Xb2 in FIG. 9b1.
9b3 shows a cross section along the section line IXb3-1Xb3 in FIG. 9b1.
9b4 shows the end face at the end of the cylinder in FIG. 9 on the right, that is, viewed in the direction of the arrow IXM in FIG. 9b2.
The cylinder, as clearly shown in Fig. 9b3 and Fig. 9b4, has three continuous segments of magnetic material, e.g. Soft iron. The two outer segments 60 and 61 bear against the ends of the pole shoes 141 and 142, respectively. The center segment 62 rests on the center pole piece 138. Like the other cylinders already described, the cylinder is flattened on its lower side. The area has the designation F "'.
The sebentences lead the lines of force from the ends of the pole shoes to the surface F "'. The two cylinder parts 63 and 64 between the three segments are made of non-magnetic material, for example brass. On the sliding surface F"' there are elements 60 between the outer segments and stones 66 and 67 made of sapphire, diamond or similar hard material, extending over the entire length of the inner segment 62.
This stone serves, as already mentioned, as a sliding surface for the spring, since the magnetic material of the segments 60, 61 and 62 as the non-magnetic material of the cylinder parts 63 and 64 is too soft and would wear out after a short period of operation. At the transition from the compensatable part 138a 'of the central pole piece 138 to the non-compensable part 138a ″, as shown in FIGS. 9b1 and 9b2, there is a continuous separating slot 65 in the central segment 62 of the cylinder Z, which is also shown in FIG .
The separation slot is where the spring bars can fall off at the end of curve 35 when coil 143 is energized. It is located in the space of the cutout 138a in the center pole piece 138. The spring rod 16 thus drops between the end 35a of the curve 35 and the air gap 65 of the cylinder Z ″ when the coil 143 is energized.
If the coil 143 has no current in the time in which the rod is moving between the end of the curve 35a and the slot 65, the spring rod will stick to the surface F "and move across the air gap 65 onto the permanent part of the magnet system, where it is held up to the end of the surface F ". The two sapphire stones 66 and 67, as shown in particular in FIGS. 9b1 and 9bz, extend beyond the end of the surface F ″ for the reason already mentioned above.
The rotation of the cylinder Z ″ about its axis is carried out as in the previous variants of FIGS. 7 and 8 by means of the locking lever 51 ″, which is held in the set position by the screw 53 ″ which passes through the lever slot 52 ″.
The connection of the locking lever 51 ″ to the cylinder Z ″ takes place through the end 51 ″ a of the locking lever seated in the slot 50 ″ of the cylinder Z ″.
10 show a three-pole magnet system which essentially corresponds to that according to FIG. The side surfaces of the permanent magnets 140 and 139, which are square in cross section, rest on the side surfaces of the central pole piece 138, and the outer pole pieces 141 and 142 are seated on the outer surfaces. In the present case, as in the magnet system according to FIG. 6, the two outer poles 141 and 142 are divided.
The subdivision is made by the cut-outs 141a and 142a in each outer pole shoe, which extend down to the bottom. Each outer pole shoe has a narrow and a wide end at the bottom. The coils 144 and 144a are wound around the narrow ends (FIG. 10, left), which simultaneously receive current and thereby compensate for the narrow ends of the outer pole shoes.
The cylinder Z "'is shown in FIGS. 10b1, 10b =, 10b3 and 10b-1. FIG. 10b1 shows the side view of the cylinder, as it is also visible in FIG.
FIG. 10b2 shows the top view of the cylinder in the direction of the arrow Xb2 in FIG. 10b1.
Fig. 10b3 shows one. Cross section through the cylinder along the section line Xb3-Xb3 in Fig. 10b1.
FIG. 10b4 shows the end face of the cylinder end viewed in the direction of the arrow Xb4 in FIG. 10b2.
The cylinder has three segments made of magnetic material, namely the two outer segments 70 and 71, on which the ends of the outer pole shoes 141 and 142, respectively, rest (FIG. 10a). The center segment 72 is in contact with the center pole piece 138 (FIG. 10a). The middle segment 72 goes through the entire length of the cylinder without interruption, since the middle pole piece 138 is not divided under. The two side segments 70 and 71 are interrupted by the air slot 73 and 74 in the region of the recess 141a and 142a, shortly after the end 35a of the curve 35.
The air slot can of course, and this also applies to the corresponding air slots of the other systems described, be filled with a non-magnetizable material. All three segments 70, 71 and 72 are connected to one another by the longitudinal cylinder parts 75 and 76 made of non-magnetizable material and together form the cylinder Z "'. As in the other embodiments, the cylinder is flattened at the bottom "' designated. The three segments <B> 72, 73 </B> and 74 that guide the magnetic force flow of the three pole shoes open out on this surface.
Between the cylinder segments 72 and 70 and 72 and 71, the two stones made of sapphire or diamond or similar hard material 77 and 78 are used as sliding elements. For the reasons mentioned above, these stones go beyond the cylinder end face (Fig. 10, right) at the rear end. The adjustment of the cylinder about its axis takes place, as in the other Ausführungsar th, by means of the adjusting lever 51 "', which sits with its bent end in the cylinder slot 50"'. The locking means are not shown in FIG.
The invention is also applicable to knitting machines with knitting needles which can be moved independently of one another in channels of the needle carrier, in which the needle carrier does not move and the lock cams are movable to the needle carrier, i.e. where the curves that lift the needles into a knitting position after they from the magnetically actuated mechanism, which is available to each needle at each knitting point, received an initial movement, are fastened to a lock shell rotating to the stationary needle cylinder. This also applies to flat knitting machines with a fixed needle bar and locks that can be pushed back and forth.
The coil that surrounds the soft iron pole piece of the permanent magnet or a part of the pole piece resulting from a cutout in the pole piece, so that the permanent force field of this pole piece or pole piece part can be weakened or compensated or reversed into an opposing field by applying current to the coil their current pulses from a pattern device.
Each current pulse can play according to the Ausführungsbei, which are explained with reference to the above drawings, the spring rod 16 fall, whereby the mechanism that gives the associated knitting needle an initial movement in a knitting position is not triggered. The spring rod, which is held at the point of selection at the end of the pole piece in the tensioned position in which the coil surrounding this end of the pole piece has no current pulse, remains under the effect of the permanent force field and the mechanism is triggered and the needle is moved to a knitting position.
It is also within the meaning of the invention if the mechanism functions kinematically in reverse. This means when the mechanism can be triggered when the lever or spring rod falls away from the magnetic pole and, accordingly, when the lever or spring rod falls away from the magnetic pole, the associated knitting needle receives an initial movement into a knitting position, e.g. into the containment position or into the catch position.
Pattern devices which emit electrical impulses according to a pattern, which are conducted into the coil or coils, are known, so that there is no need for illustration and description of the device generating the impulses, which is not the subject of the present invention.
