1,4-Diaminobenzol, 1,3-Diaminobenzol, 1,3-Diamino-4-methylbenzol, 1,3-Diamino-4-methoxybenzol, 1,3-Diamino-4-chlorbenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2-chlorbenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2-brombenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2,5-dichlorbenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2-chlor-5-methylbenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2-methylbenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2,5-dimethylbenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2-methyl-5-methoxybenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2-methoxybenzol, 1,4-Diamino-2,
5-dimethoxybenzol, 1,4 Diamino-2,5-diäthoxybenzol, 1,3-Diamino-4,6-dimethylbenzol, 1,3-Diamino-2,6-dimethylbenzol, 4,4'-Diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-Dichlor-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-Dimethyl-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-Dimethoxy-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-Dimethoxy-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3',5,5'-Tetrachlor-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-Dichlor-5,5'-dimethyl-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 2,8-Diaminochrysen, 4,11 Diaminofluoranthen, 2,

wherein X1 is a hydrogen or halogen atom, an alkyl or alkoxy group,
Y1 denotes a hydrogen or halogen atom, an alkyl or alkoxy or trifluoromethyl group and Y2 denotes a hydrogen or halogen atom, an alkyl or alkoxy group.
These compounds are obtained in a simple manner by the action of diketene or acetoacetic ester on aromatic diamines, such as. B.
1,4-diaminobenzene, 1,3-diaminobenzene, 1,3-diamino-4-methylbenzene, 1,3-diamino-4-methoxybenzene, 1,3-diamino-4-chlorobenzene, 1,4-diamino-2- chlorobenzene, 1,4-diamino-2-bromobenzene, 1,4-diamino-2,5-dichlorobenzene, 1,4-diamino-2-chloro-5-methylbenzene, 1,4-diamino-2-methylbenzene, 1, 4-diamino-2,5-dimethylbenzene, 1,4-diamino-2-methyl-5-methoxybenzene, 1,4-diamino-2-methoxybenzene, 1,4-diamino-2,
5-dimethoxybenzene, 1,4 diamino-2,5-diethoxybenzene, 1,3-diamino-4,6-dimethylbenzene, 1,3-diamino-2,6-dimethylbenzene, 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3 ' -Dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-dimethyl-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-dimethoxy-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-dimethoxy-4,4'- diaminodiphenyl, 3,3 ', 5,5'-tetrachloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 3,3'-dichloro-5,5'-dimethyl-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl, 2,8-diaminochrysen, 4, 11 diaminofluoranthene, 2,
6- or 1,5-diaminonaphthalene. The coupling takes place by gradually adding the aqueous-alkaline solution of the coupling component to the acidic solution of the diazonium salt. The amount of alkali metal hydroxide to be used to dissolve the coupling component is expediently such that it is sufficient to neutralize the mineral acid liberated from the diazonium salt during the coupling.
The coupling is expediently carried out at a pH of 3 to 6, preferably between 4.5 and 5. The pH is adjusted before geous by adding a buffer. As a buffer come z. B. the salts, especially alkali salts of formic acid, phosphoric acid or especially acetic acid into consideration.
The alkaline solution of the coupling component expediently contains a wetting agent, dispersing agent or emulsifying agent, for example an aralkyl sulfonate such as dodecylbenzenesulfonate or the sodium salt of 1,1 'naphthylmethanesulfonic acid, polycondensation products of alkylene oxides, such as the product of the action of ethylene oxide on p-tert.-octyl.
also alkyl esters of sulforicin oleates, for example n-butyl sulforicin oleate. The dispersion of the coupling component can also contain protective colloids, for example methyl cellulose or smaller amounts of inert organic solvents that are sparingly soluble or insoluble in water, for example optionally halogenated or nitrated aromatic hydrocarbons, such as benzene, toluene,
Xylene, chlorobenzene, dichlorobenzenes or nitrobenzene, and aliphatic halogenated hydrocarbons, such as. B. carbon tetrachloride or trichlorethylene, also water-miscible organic solvents such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methanol, ethanol or isopropanol.
The coupling can also advantageously be carried out in such a way that an acidic solution of the diazonium salt is continuously combined with an alkaline solution of the coupling component in a mixing nozzle, the components being coupled immediately. It is important to ensure that the diazo component and the coupling component are present in equimolar amounts in the mixing nozzle, it being advantageous to use a small excess of the coupling component.
The easiest way to do this is to control the pH of the liquid in the mixing nozzle, with a pH range of 4 to 4.5 being maintained with advantage. A strong swirling of the two solutions must also be ensured in the mixing nozzle. The resulting dye dispersion is continuously withdrawn from the mixing nozzle and the dye is separated off by filtration.
The disazo pigments obtained can be isolated by filtration. To obtain grain-soft pigments, it is advantageous to heat the filter cake with organic solvents such as chlorobenzene, xylene, o-dichlorobenzene or nitrobenzene prior to drying. The same result is obtained if the water is removed from the moist filter cake by azeotropic distillation with one of the solvents mentioned.
The disazo pigments obtained are distinguished by their good spreadability and high color strength and can be used in bulk for coloring high molecular weight organic products. They are on a par with the pigments available according to German patent specification 1150165 in every respect.
In the following examples, unless otherwise indicated, parts are parts by weight, percentages are percentages by weight, and temperatures are given in degrees Celsius. Example 1 27.8 parts of 4-methoxy-3-aminobenzenesulfonic acid phenylamide are stirred in 200 parts of water with 30 parts of concentrated hydrochloric acid for one hour, then cooled to 0 and at 0 to 5 diazotized with 25 parts of 4N sodium nitrite solution. Small amounts of impurities are filtered off from the diazo solution and adjusted to a volume of 600 parts and a temperature of 0.
The excess of nitrous acid is destroyed by adding small amounts of sulfamic acid, then the solution becomes crystalline by adding 30 parts. Sodium acetate adjusted to pH 4.
On the other hand, 19 parts of 3,3'-dimethyl-4,4'-bis-acetoacetylaminodiphenyl are dissolved in 400 parts of water at 40 to 45 with 30 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution, clarified with 0.2 part of decolorizing charcoal and, after addition of 2 parts n-Butyl sulforicinoleate was added dropwise to the diazo solution with thorough stirring. The coupling takes about an hour and the temperature of the mixture rises to 15 to 20 during this time.
After the end of the dropwise addition, only traces of diazo compound can be detected in the mixture, which disappear completely after brief heating to 30 to 35. The mixture is then heated to 80 to 85 in about an hour, filtered hot and the filter residue is washed salt-free with hot water. After drying at 95 to 100 in vacuo, 44.5 parts of a yellow pigment dye with a fairly hard texture are obtained. The pigment obtained is stirred in 800 parts of o-dichlorobenzene and heated to 140 to 145 for 3 to 4 hours.
After this time all coarse and hard particles have disappeared, and uniform, regular, fine yellow needles can be seen under the microscope. The mixture is allowed to cool to 100, filtered, rinsed with hot dichlorobenzene and the dichlorobenzene is washed out with cold methyl alcohol. After drying, about 47 parts of a loose yellow powder are obtained, which can be easily distributed in plastics and paint media. The dyeings in PVC show very good migration and lightfastness.
If the diazo compound of this example is coupled to a fine suspension of bisacetoacetic arylide at 35 to 40 by the usual method, only half of the diazo compound is taken up. The second clutch cannot be forced even by increasing the temperature. In contrast to the disazo pigment, the monoazo dye obtained is clearly soluble in hot nitrobenzene and can be recrystallized from this solvent. The coloring of this pigment in PVC shows insufficient migration and poor lightfastness.
Example 2 136.2 parts of 4-chloro-3-aminobenzenesulfonic acid (3'-trifluoromethylanilide) are dissolved in 50 parts of warm glacial acetic acid, with stirring, in a solution of 250 parts of 30% hydrochloric acid and 10 Parts of the sodium salt of N-benzyl-, u-heptadecyl-benzimidazole-disulphonic acid in 100 parts of ice-water are run in, then diazotized at 0 to 5 with 120 parts of 4N sodium nitrite solution and clarified by filtration.
On the other hand, 65 parts of 1,4-diacetoacetylamino-2-chloro-5-methylbenzene are dissolved in a mixture of 230 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution and 2000 parts of ice water. The two solutions, if necessary after dilution with water, are continuously fed to a mixing nozzle, the components being coupled immediately. By regulating the supply of the solutions, it is ensured that the pH value in the mixing nozzle is between 4.5 and 5.5. The temperature should be around 30. This setting can be regulated by adding water to the component solutions.
The resulting dye suspension is filtered off and the filter residue was washed out; then the latter is mixed with 1800 parts of o-dichlorobenzene, heated to 100 and filtered hot. The filter residue is washed first with ethylene glycol monoethyl ether and then with methanol and water and dried in vacuo at 70 ge. The dye obtained in good yield dyes PVC in yellow shades of very good fastness to light and migration.
In the table below, other dyes are described; which are obtained by coupling the diazotized bases of column I with the bisacetoacetic arylides of the diamines of column II. Column III indicates the color of the PVC film colored with 0.2 o / a of these pigments.
