  Caisse d'emballage armée
 La présente invention a pour objet une caisse d'emballage armée.



   Ces emballages, de forme parallélépipédique, comprennent une carcasse latérale formée de quatre panneaux reliés par une ceinture métallique, une palette formant le fond de l'emballage, et, le cas échéant, un panneau supplémentaire faisant fonction de couvercle.



   Dans des emballages de ce type connus, les quatre panneaux de la carcasse latérale sont constitués par des planchettes verticales réunies par des liteaux disposés horizontalement et qui sont placés à l'intérieur de la carcasse. La fermeture de la carcasse s'effectue par torsade de fils de fer ceinturant les panneaux et cette opération est laissée aux soins de l'utilisateur, qui   re    çoit l'emballage démonté et à plat.



   Or, la disposition à l'intérieur de la carcasse des liteaux peut occasionner une gêne au placement des marchandises dans la caisse, et, de plus la torsion des liens assurant la formation proprement dite de la caisse, qui doit être effectuée par l'utilisateur, risque d'être trop brutale, pouvant alors provoquer la rupture des liens.



   La présente invention vise à apporter des perfectionnements, procurant des avantages pour l'utilisateur tant au point de vue de la commodité d'emploi que de la résistance offerte par l'emballage.



   La caisse d'emballage objet de l'invention, comprenant une carcasse latérale formée de quatre panneaux constitués chacun par des planchettes verticales réunies par des liteaux horizontaux et qui est cerclée par des liens métalliques est caractérisée en ce que les liteaux sont disposés sur la face extérieure des panneaux et en ce que les liens sont constitués par des rubans de feuillard établis à demeure en boucle et qui sont agrafés sur la face extérieure des liteaux, ces rubans étant montés coulissant dans les agrafes qui les relient aux liteaux et les coins dièdres des cadres formés par ces derniers étant coupés parallèlement aux diagonales de la carcasse pour permettre la mise à plat de cette dernière par rapprochement de deux coins opposés, alors que les rubans de feuillard forment des charnières entre les panneaux.



   Ces dispositions permettent le montage quasi immédiat chez l'utilisateur de la caisse, par simple développement de la carcasse, sans l'obligation d'en effectuer la fermeture; elles facilitent aussi l'introduction de la charge. Elles donnent aussi la possibilité de placer facilement une caisse en carton à l'intérieur de la carcasse, ce qui permet non seulement d'obtenir une étanchéité parfaite et la bonne protection des produits imballés, mais aussi grâce à l'utilisation   d'une    palette pour constituer le fond de l'emballage, de combiner des avantages de la caisse armée et de la caisse carton.



   Dans une forme d'exécution préferée, le fond est une palette en bois à quatre entrées, qui est réunie au pourtour inférieur de la carcasse par le moyen de dés à encoches dans lesquelles viennent s'insérer les extrémités de certaines des planchettes verticales, qui y sont collées, agrafées ou clouées, ou maintenues par des feuillards de liaison verticale.



   La palette peut être livrée démontée pour obtenir un gain de place lors du transport à vide. Elle permet, en plus des avantages inhérents à la palettisation, de former une bonne assise pour l'emballage et notamment de soutenir le fond de la caisse de carton, lorsque une telle caisse est prévue dans la carcasse.



   Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la caisse d'emballage objet de l'invention.



   La fig. 1 en est une vue en perspective, en position d'utilisation.



   La fig. 2 est une vue en perspective de la caisse d'emballage de la fig. 1 alors qu'elle est repliée pour sa livraison à l'usager.



   La fig. 3 est une vue analogue à la fig. 2 montrant une variante de la palette.



   La fig. 4 est une coupe de la partie supérieure de la caisse d'emballage de la fig. 1 avec une caisse intérieure en carton.  



   La fig. 5 est une vue en perspective de la partie supérieure de la caisse d'emballage de la fig. 1, avec une caisse en carton et fermée par un couvercle.



   La fig. 6 est une vue de détail de la caisse d'emballage de la fig. 1, à plus grande échelle.



   La caisse d'emballage armée représentée à la fig. 1 est constituée par une carcasse latérale 1 formée par quatre panneaux 2,   2' et    3, 3'. Chaque panneau est composé de planchettes de bois 4 disposées verticalement, sur lesquelles sont fixés par agrafes des liteaux 5 disposés horizontalement. Les quatre panneaux sont assemblés par des bandes de feuillards 6, aux extrémités assemblées par des chapes 7, et qui peuvent coulisser dans des agrafes spéciales 8 assurant leur montage sur les liteaux 5.



   Les liteaux 5 sont disposés à l'extérieur de la carcasse 1 qui peut se plier suivant une diagonale, ainsi que le montre la fig. 2, grâce à la conformation en biseau des coins dièdres des cadres extérieurs formés par les liteaux, ces coins étant coupés parallèlement aux diagonales de la carcasse (fig. 6).



   Certaines planchettes 4 (soit les deux des bords et une centrale de chaque grand côté, et la planchette centrale de chaque petit côté de la carcasse), sont prolongées à leur base et leurs extrémités sont engagées dans des encoches de dés 9 d'une palette 10 formant le fond de la caisse.



   La palette 10 (fig. 2) est constituée d'un panneau 11, de six dés 9 à encoches, de trois dés sans encoches 2 (deux d'extrémité et un de centre), et de trois traverses 13; ces divers élements sont assemblés par clouage ou collage.



   L'emballage est livré à plat en deux parties: carcasse 1 et palette 10, et l'usager n'a qu'à redresser et déplier la carcasse et à engager dans les encoches des dés l'extrémité des planchettes, la liaison étant assurée par agrafage, clouage ou collage, ou par l'intermédiaire de feuillards verticaux, pour rendre la palette solidaire de la carcasse.



   Ainsi que le montre la fig. 3, les dés à encoches 9, non encore fixé aux planchettes, peuvent être placés à des endroits définis, de manière à ne pas causer de surépaisseur dans la carcasse repliée. La palette, alors sous la forme d'un simple panneau plat 14, les trois traverses 13, et le dé central 9', sont alors livrés en vrac, séparément de la carcasse pliée.



   A l'arrivée, le montage intervient de la façon suivante: le dé central   9' est    cloué sur le panneau 14, la carcasse est dépliée et   l'on    cloue le panneau 14 sur les dés, puis les trois traverses 13.



   On peut prévoir un matériau de remplissage ou de contreventement des panneaux, le garnissage de ces derniers étant effectué lors de leur fabrication.



   La caisse d'emballage représentée à la fig. 1 peut être utilisée avec une caisse en carton 15, prévue de dimensions extérieures sensiblement égales aux dimensions intérieures de la carcasse 1 et qui est placée à l'intérieur de   celle-ci    pour reposer sur la palette qui lui procure une très bonne assise. Afin de faciliter le remplissage, les quatre côtés de la caisse de carton 15 comprennent des volets 16 destinés à former le couvercle (fig. 4) et comportant chacun deux lignes de pliage 17 permettant le repli vers l'extérieur à 900 en appui sur le bord supérieur de la carcasse de bois 1, puis un second pliage à 900, rabattant les volets à plat contre les faces extérieures de carcasse.



   Ce double pliage évite également que la caisse de carton ne se soulève dans la carcasse au moment du rabattement des volets.



   Pour fermer la caisse d'emballage, les quatre volets de la caisse de carton sont rabattus, et un couvercle
 18, constitué par un panneau de lattes est posé sur la
 carcasse (fig. 5). Des lattes inférieures 19 du couvercle
   : 18    reposent en exerçant une légère pression sur la caisse en carton 15, tandis que des lattes supérieures 20 du couvercle reposent sur les bords supérieurs de la carcasse 1.
  



  
 



  Army packing box
 The present invention relates to an armed packing box.



   These packages, of parallelepiped shape, comprise a side carcass formed of four panels connected by a metal belt, a pallet forming the bottom of the package, and, where appropriate, an additional panel acting as a cover.



   In known packages of this type, the four panels of the side carcass are formed by vertical boards joined by battens arranged horizontally and which are placed inside the carcass. The carcass is closed by twisting iron wires surrounding the panels and this operation is left to the care of the user, who receives the packaging dismantled and flat.



   However, the arrangement inside the carcass of the battens can cause hindrance to the placement of the goods in the box, and, moreover, the twisting of the links ensuring the actual formation of the box, which must be carried out by the user , risks being too brutal, being able then to cause the rupture of the links.



   The present invention aims to provide improvements, providing advantages for the user both from the point of view of convenience of use and of the resistance offered by the packaging.



   The packaging box object of the invention, comprising a lateral carcass formed of four panels each formed by vertical boards joined by horizontal battens and which is encircled by metal links is characterized in that the battens are arranged on the face exterior of the panels and in that the links are constituted by strips of strip permanently established in a loop and which are stapled to the outer face of the battens, these tapes being mounted to slide in the clips which connect them to the battens and the dihedral corners of the battens. frames formed by the latter being cut parallel to the diagonals of the carcass to allow the latter to be flattened by bringing two opposite corners together, while the strips of strip form hinges between the panels.



   These arrangements allow almost immediate assembly at the user's premises, by simple development of the carcass, without the obligation to close it; they also facilitate the introduction of the load. They also make it possible to easily place a cardboard box inside the carcass, which not only allows to obtain a perfect seal and good protection of the unpacked products, but also thanks to the use of a pallet. to form the bottom of the packaging, to combine the advantages of the reinforced box and the cardboard box.



   In a preferred embodiment, the bottom is a wooden pallet with four entrances, which is joined to the lower periphery of the carcass by means of notched thimbles into which the ends of some of the vertical boards are inserted, which are glued, stapled or nailed, or held by vertical connecting strips.



   The pallet can be delivered disassembled to save space during empty transport. It allows, in addition to the advantages inherent in palletizing, to form a good base for the packaging and in particular to support the bottom of the cardboard box, when such a box is provided in the carcass.



   The drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the packaging box which is the subject of the invention.



   Fig. 1 is a perspective view thereof, in the position of use.

   The armed packing box shown in fig. 1 consists of a side carcass 1 formed by four panels 2, 2 'and 3, 3'. Each panel is composed of wooden boards 4 arranged vertically, on which are fixed by staples battens 5 arranged horizontally. The four panels are assembled by strips of strips 6, at the ends assembled by yokes 7, and which can slide in special clips 8 ensuring their assembly on the battens 5.



   The battens 5 are arranged outside the carcass 1 which can be folded along a diagonal, as shown in FIG. 2, thanks to the beveled conformation of the dihedral corners of the outer frames formed by the battens, these corners being cut parallel to the diagonals of the carcass (fig. 6).



   Certain 4 boards (either two of the edges and a central one on each long side, and the central board on each short side of the carcass), are extended at their base and their ends are engaged in dice notches 9 of a pallet 10 forming the bottom of the box.



   The pallet 10 (fig. 2) consists of a panel 11, six dice 9 with notches, three dice without notches 2 (two at the end and one at the center), and three crossbars 13; these various elements are assembled by nailing or gluing.



   The packaging is delivered flat in two parts: carcass 1 and pallet 10, and the user only has to straighten and unfold the carcass and engage in the notches of the dice the end of the boards, the connection being ensured. by stapling, nailing or gluing, or by means of vertical strips, to make the pallet integral with the carcass.



   As shown in fig. 3, the notched thimbles 9, not yet attached to the boards, can be placed at defined locations, so as not to cause extra thickness in the folded carcass. The pallet, then in the form of a simple flat panel 14, the three cross members 13, and the central die 9 ', are then delivered in bulk, separately from the folded carcass.



   On arrival, the assembly takes place as follows: the central die 9 'is nailed to the panel 14, the frame is unfolded and the panel 14 is nailed to the dice, then the three cross members 13.



   It is possible to provide a material for filling or bracing the panels, the latter being lined during their manufacture.



   The packing box shown in fig. 1 can be used with a cardboard box 15, provided with external dimensions substantially equal to the internal dimensions of the carcass 1 and which is placed inside the latter to rest on the pallet which gives it a very good base. In order to facilitate filling, the four sides of the cardboard box 15 include flaps 16 intended to form the cover (fig. 4) and each comprising two fold lines 17 allowing the fold outward at 900 resting on the upper edge of the wooden frame 1, then a second folding at 900, folding the flaps flat against the outer faces of the frame.



   This double folding also prevents the cardboard box from lifting into the carcass when the flaps are being folded down.



   To close the packing box, the four flaps of the cardboard box are folded down, and a cover
 18, consisting of a slat panel is placed on the
 carcass (fig. 5). Lower slats 19 of the cover
   : 18 rest by exerting a slight pressure on the cardboard box 15, while the upper slats 20 of the cover rest on the upper edges of the carcass 1.

Claims

CLAIM Reinforced packing box, comprising a lateral carcass formed of four panels each constituted by vertical boards joined by horizontal battens and which is encircled by metal links, characterized in that the battens are arranged on the outer face of the panels and in that the links are constituted by strips of strip permanently established in a loop and which are stapled to the outer face of the battens, these tapes being mounted to slide in the clips which connect them to the battens and the dihedral corners of the frames formed by the latter being cut parallel to the diagonals of the carcass to allow the latter to be flattened by bringing together two opposite corners, while the strips of strip form hinges between the panels.

SUB-CLAIMS 1. Packaging box according to claim, characterized in that the bottom of the box is a wooden pallet with four entries, joined to the lower periphery of the carcass by means of notched dice.

2. Packaging box according to claim and sub-claim 1, characterized in that the pallet comprises an upper panel closing off the bottom of the carcass and the lower flanges, are kept apart from this panel by means of notched dice established around the perimeter of the panel and also serving as a link between the pallet and the carcass.

3. Packaging box according to claim and sub-claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the soles are three in number and in that the pallet has a central thimble established between the upper panel and the central sole.

4. Packaging box according to claim, characterized in that it comprises an inner cardboard box detachably nested in the side carcass.

5. Packaging box according to claim and sub-claim 4, characterized in that the cardboard box comprises a cover formed of upper panels articulated by folds on the side panels of the cardboard box, these upper panels being articulated. on the side panels by two parallel folds spaced from one another by a distance corresponding to the thickness of the panels of the side carcass, to allow the upper panels of the cardboard box to be folded against the outer face of the lateral carcass.

6. Packaging box according to claim, characterized in that the panels of the side carcass sandwich a sheet forming a filling between the boards.
