Description
Palette
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Palette, wie sie zum Tragen von Gütern benutzt werden, und bezweckt, eine Palette einfacher Konstruktion zu schaffen, so dass solche Paletten im unbelasteten Zustand zu einem so kleinen Stapel ineinander verschachtelt werden können, dass grosse Mengen auf wirtschaftliche Weise zum gewünschten Ort zurückgeführt werden können. Ferner soll die Palette besonders stark und für die Aufnahme der vielfältigsten Güter geeignet sein sowie auch eine bequeme Lagerung erlauben.
Erfindungsgemäss besitzt die Palette zu diesem Zweck einen ein einziges Stück bildenden Metallblechpressteil mit einer Mehrzahl von im wesentlichen parallelen, U-rinnenförmigen Abschnitten, die in Querrichtung gerillt oder gerippt sind, um in Längs- und Querrichtung Steifheit zu verleihen.
Nachfolgend ist der Erfindungsgegenstand beispielsweise anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

Die dargestellte Palette ist aus einem Metallblech geeigneter Dicke entsprechend der aufzunehmenden Last hergestellt und besteht aus einem im wesentlichen rechteckigen Blech 10, das drei oder mehr U-rinnenförmige, gerillte Abschnitte 11-13 aufweist, die nebeneinander und parallel zueinander angeordnet sind, so dass das Material zwischen jeder Rinne und der benachbarten Rinne eine umgekehrte U-Rinne 14-15 bildet. Vorzugsweise bilden die Seitenwände der Rinnen einen stumpfen Winkel von beispielsweise etwa 1100 mit den Bodenteilen der Rinnen. Die äussersten Seitenwände der Randrinnen besitzen mit denselben aus einem Stück bestehende nach aussen sich erstreckende Flansche 16, 17, die mit den oberen Teilen oder Bodenteilen der umgekehrten zwischen den erstgenannten Rinnen liegenden Rinnen in einer Ebene liegen.
Die Rinnen erstrecken sich vorzugsweise in Längsrichtung des Materials und ergeben eine Versteifung der Palette in Längsrichtung.
Die Tiefe jeder Rinne kann in der Grössenordnung von etwa 7,5 cm liegen, wenn die Breite der Rinnen etwa 17,5 oder 20 cm betragen, so dass die Breite des gesamten Bleches oder der Palette in der Grössenordnung von etwa 75-80 cm liegt. Je nach den Anforderungen können aber auch andere Abmessungen gewählt werden.
Die Palette ist in ihrer Längsrichtung mit in Abständen voneinander angeordneten querverlaufenden Rippen 20 versehen, die hohl und im Querschnitt im wesentlichen V-förmig ausgebildet sind, wobei sie von der einen Oberfläche abstehen und in der gegenüberliegenden Fläche ausgespart sind.
Im allgemeinen sind diese Rippen etwa 2,5 cm breit und liegen in einem Abstand von 5 cm oder mehr voneinander, entsprechend den Anforderungen an die Festigkeit in Längsrichtung der Palette. Diese Rippen tragen zur Quersteifigkeit bei.
Es ist möglich, eine Palette der beschriebenen Art sehr billig herzustellen, so dass sich die Verwendung der Palette als Verbrauchsgut lohnt, insbesondere wenn sie für den Transport von Gütern nach oberste verwendet wird.
Infolge der beschriebenen Form kann auch eine Mehrzahl von Paletten auf einen relativ kleinen Raum ineinander verschachtelt werden.
Es kann auch erwartet werden, dass eine Palette der beschriebenen Ausbildung nach Erfüllung seiner Funktion als Gestell zur Aufnahme von Gütern beispielsweise als Dachziegel, als Mauerverkleidungselement oder zu anderen Zwecken verwendet werden kann.
Die Rinnen erleichtern auch die Handhabung der Paletten mittels Gabelhubstaplern, Kranenschlingen und dergleichen.
Bei einer ersten Modifikation ist die Palette durch ein ebenes, rechteckiges Blech derselben Fläche wie die gebildete Palette verstärkt, welches Blech in Fig. 2 mit 25 bezeichnet ist. Dieses Blech besitzt nach oben gegen die Teile 16, 17 umgebogene und diese Teile erfassende Ränder. Das Verstärkungsblech kann separat geliefert werden, um Platz zu sparen. Es kann dann auf einfache Art beim Benützer aufgesetzt werden.
Bei einer anderen Modifikation ist das Verstärkungsblech an seinen Ecken und/oder anderwo an die Flansche 16, 17 punktgeschweisst und bei einer dritten Modifikation ist es angenietet.
Bei diesen Modifikationen nehmen die Paletten mehr Raum ein, wenn sie aufgestapelt sind, aber sie sind stärker und steifer und besonders geeignet für schwerere Lasten.

The pallet shown is made of a metal sheet of suitable thickness according to the load to be taken and consists of a substantially rectangular sheet 10, which has three or more U-channel-shaped, grooved sections 11-13, which are arranged next to each other and parallel to each other, so that the Material between each trough and the adjacent trough forms an inverted U-shaped trough 14-15. The side walls of the channels preferably form an obtuse angle of, for example, approximately 1100 with the bottom parts of the channels. The outermost side walls of the edge channels have outwardly extending flanges 16, 17, which are made in one piece and which lie in one plane with the upper parts or bottom parts of the inverted channels lying between the first-mentioned channels.
The channels preferably extend in the longitudinal direction of the material and result in a stiffening of the pallet in the longitudinal direction.
The depth of each channel can be of the order of magnitude of about 7.5 cm if the width of the channels is about 17.5 or 20 cm, so that the width of the entire sheet or pallet is of the order of about 75-80 cm . However, other dimensions can also be selected depending on the requirements.
The pallet is provided in its longitudinal direction with spaced transverse ribs 20 which are hollow and substantially V-shaped in cross-section, projecting from one surface and being recessed in the opposite surface.
Generally these ribs are about 2.5 cm wide and spaced 5 cm or more apart, depending on the strength requirements in the longitudinal direction of the pallet. These ribs add to the transverse rigidity.
It is possible to manufacture a pallet of the type described very cheaply, so that the use of the pallet as a consumable item is worthwhile, especially if it is used for the transport of goods to the top.
As a result of the form described, a plurality of pallets can also be nested in one another in a relatively small space.
It can also be expected that a pallet of the described design, after fulfilling its function as a frame for receiving goods, can be used, for example, as roof tiles, as a wall cladding element or for other purposes.
The channels also make it easier to handle the pallets using forklift trucks, crane slings and the like.
In a first modification, the pallet is reinforced by a flat, rectangular sheet of the same area as the pallet formed, which sheet is denoted by 25 in FIG. This sheet has edges that are bent upwards against the parts 16, 17 and gripping these parts. The reinforcement plate can be supplied separately to save space. It can then easily be put on by the user.
In another modification the reinforcement plate is spot welded at its corners and / or elsewhere to the flanges 16, 17 and in a third modification it is riveted.
In these modifications, the pallets take up more space when stacked, but they are stronger and stiffer and particularly suitable for heavier loads.
