Clothes hanger The present invention relates to a clothes hanger, which is also particularly suitable for hanging or drying damp, wet so washed or cleaned clothes and laundry such as sweaters, wool and jersey clothes, angora underwear, etc. with sleeves without Disadvantages can be used.
Such items of clothing could previously be placed on known hangers, e.g. Even those made of plastic, such as those made especially for nylon shirts, hang, but only with the major disadvantage that the wet sleeves pulled the shoulder connection down unpleasantly and after drying resulted in elongated and deformed shoulder and neck areas.
The present invention eliminates these disadvantages in that the clothes hanger has releasable and / or non-releasable extension means at its shoulder ends, which extend approximately in the longitudinal axis of the connecting line between these two shoulder ends.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment example of the invention is shown in a schematic perspective view and described in more detail.
The actual clothes hanger 1 according to the dargestell th embodiment is made from a single molded part in the injection molding or pressing process from thermoplastic or curable plastic, hollow and open at the bottom, with a U-shaped cross section. The hanging hooks 2 and 2a are either injected or pressed in or screwed in afterwards. When hanging on a cord or rod, they secure the hanger in its parallelism to the longitudinal axis of the cord or rod used for hanging.
At both shoulder ends of the hanger conical hollow stubs 3 and 3a are arranged, to push the two extensions 4 and 4a to a tight fit in the cone, for wearing or supporting the sleeves of these clothes and laundry items during the drying process.
The extension 4 shown is only inserted in the direction of the arrow, the extension 4a shown has already been inserted up to the cone tight fit. At the outer ends the extensions 4 and 4a have e.g. a ball or a rounded thickened closure 5 and 5a so that they can be easily inserted through the sleeves. Stops 6 and 6a are provided at the other ends with the larger diameter.
In another embodiment, the extensions 4 and 4a can also be connected to a hinge arranged at the shoulder ends of the clothes hanger so that they can be folded open into a horizontal position, instead of being pushed in and firmly fitted by means of a cone.
The two extensions can, however, also be releasably connected to the clothes hanger shoulder ends by snapping them in or by means of a snap connection or spring elements.
The suspension hooks 2 and 2a can, however, also consist of plastic in one piece with the bracket, or they can also be bent from a piece of wire to form a double hook.
The support surfaces are therefore preferably as wide as possible and kept slightly rounded at the edges with an approximate minimum width of 30 mm to avoid deformation of the clothes or laundry to be dried.
The clothes hanger according to the invention can advantageously be used to dry items of clothing and laundry, in particular made of wool or similar fabrics or knitted fabrics that are sensitive to tensile stress, quickly and safely without any deformation of shape or façade. So you no longer need to lay such items of clothing and laundry between dry towels as before and wait a long time until they are dry in this way.
