Lagergut einschliessenden Lagerungs-undXoder Sortieranlage

Fig. 5 drei Sammelrinnen mit solchen Ausspeisevorrichtungen zeigt.
Fig. 6-9 zeigen drei Speicherrinnen mit freien Körpern (Kugeln) in verschiedenen Lagen.
So geht z.
Fig. 2.
Arrangement for automatic control of a powered conveyor track for
Storage goods including storage and sorting system
The present invention relates to an arrangement for the automatic control of a storage and / or sorting system including a driven conveyor track for stored goods, in which each piece goods advanced on the conveyor track is intended for delivery to a specific one of a number of side or storage sections .
Automatic control devices for such storage and sorting systems are already known.
In a known system, the control device consists of an endless, rotating body which is driven synchronously with the conveyor track and to which pulse generators in the form of pins are firmly connected.
The pulse generators are arranged in such a way that only one pulse generator actuates a microswitch at the same time, which gives a pulse to a stop device that is guided out of the way of the stored goods so that a piece of goods can be fed to the conveyor track each time. After a certain time, which corresponds to the time it takes for the piece goods to cover the path from the stopping device to a certain side distance, the pulse generator in question actuates another microswitch, which sends an impulse to a switch to insert the piece goods onto the certain side stretch there.
A disadvantage of this known arrangement is the fact that the functions corresponding to the destination of a piece of goods can be stored in the control device at the same time only for one piece of goods before the piece of goods has passed the stopping device. If the storage is carried out by means of impulses from pushbuttons on a control panel, one consequently has to press a button corresponding to a certain lateral distance every time a piece of goods has reached the stop device.
The present invention aims to provide an arrangement for automatic control in which the destinations for a plurality of piece goods can be stored simultaneously.
The invention is characterized by a mechanical store that works synchronously with the conveyor track, in which each piece goods advanced on the conveyor track is represented by a free body advanced in the store, further by actuating members for advancing the free body in the store and members that are dependent on the positions of the free bodies on the conveyor track, which determine the advance of the piece goods actuate the arrangements.
An exemplary embodiment of the arrangement according to the invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 shows schematically a storage and sorting system.
Fig. 2 shows a mechanical memory and -Fig. 3 a rotating drum belonging to the memory.
Fig. 4 shows an exit device belonging to the gravitational troughs of the store, while
Fig. 5 shows three collecting troughs with such discharge devices.
Fig. 6-9 show three storage troughs with free bodies (balls) in different positions.
10a and 10b, which are to be placed next to one another, show an electrical circuit diagram of the arrangement.
11 finally shows a mechanical memory according to another embodiment of the invention, and
FIG. 12 shows a section through this memory along the line A-A in FIG.
Fig. 1 shows schematically a storage and sorting system, -which consists of a driven conveyor track 10 and a number of side or storage sections, of which only four are shown, namely 11, 12, 13 and 14. The side sections 11, 1- 2 and 13 are provided with switches 15, 16, 17 through which the stored goods can be fed to these side sections. The stored goods, which consist of boxes, stools or the like, are entered on the conveyor track 10 in the direction indicated by the arrow. When a piece goods are fed onto the conveyor track 10, it is initially held back by a stop device C9 which serves as a synchronization stop.
The stopping device is controlled by a mechanical memory 18 which issues an impulse to a maneuvering organ of the stopping device, which is moved out of the way of the piece goods at a precisely defined point in time. The piece goods are then fed to a predetermined side path. On the side routes, the piece goods are z. B. stored in such a way that piece goods with the same content are entered on the same page route. This input is automatically controlled by the mechanical memory 18, which is driven synchronously with the drive device of the conveyor track. The mechanical memory issues control impulses to the switches at the times when the piece goods in question have just reached the specific side section. So z. B. the time T1 on the transport of a piece goods from the stopping device to the first side section.
On the transport to the second side route, the time T. etc. The last side route 14 can z. B. be formed by a collecting line to which such piece goods are fed that have not previously been fed to a certain side route. The last switch does not necessarily have to be controlled by the mechanical memory.
Before a piece of cargo reaches the first side route, it passes a number of electrical contacts, e.g. B. microswitch C1; ; and C, -Co, the function of which will be described later. At the points of the side stretch there are further electrical contacts Cl0, C11, C1, etc. These contacts are arranged to close by the piece goods when this happens, and to deliver a control pulse to the maneuvering arrangement of the switch. If a control pulse arrives at the switch from the mechanical store 18 at the same time, the piece goods are fed to the relevant side section. The switch of the last side section is also provided with such an electrical contact, which, however, according to the above, can possibly work completely independently.
The mechanical store shown in FIG. 2 consists of a drum 19 rotating synchronously with the drive device of the conveyor track, around which a number of chutes 22, 23, 24 are attached. The rotating drum can also be formed by a belt or the like. The drum is provided with a number of dimples 20 arranged in rows, as illustrated more clearly in FIG. The number of rows of recesses is equal to the number of side stretches or, under certain circumstances, one unit less than this number.
A number of free bodies 21, e.g. B. balls or the like are intended to be fitted in the recesses 20. They follow the drum in its rotation with the assistance of a control channel or a casing 22. Gravitation channels 23, 24 correspond to each row of recesses of the drum, with the gravitation channel 23 forming a collecting channel and the gravitation channel 24 forming a storage channel.
After a free body, e.g. B. a ball has completed a cycle around the drum, it is received by the collecting channel 23. The channel 23 is provided with a discharge device 25 through which only one ball can be fed to the storage channel 24 at a time. Each collecting channel is equipped with such a discharge device. The feed-out devices, which are described in more detail in connection with FIG. 4, are arranged for maneuvering by pulling magnets BUol-BUIl. The storage channels 24, of which there is consequently one for each row of recesses on the drum, are provided with a common discharge device 26 with a pull magnet BMn. This discharge device is constructed in a manner similar to that of the discharge device 25.
The storage channels 24 are also with pull magnets BM1-BM; maneuverable locking tongues 27 are provided.
By means of these locking tongues, the balls fed out by the collecting channels can be brought into different positions in relation to one another in the storage channels. The construction of the locking tongues can be seen more clearly in FIGS. 6-9.
When a ball is discharged from a storage chute to be placed in one of the recesses 20 on the rotating drum, the ball first passes a synchronization contact z. E. 1311S. There is such a synchronizing contact for each of the rows of dimples on the drum. The synchronization contact is arranged to emit a pulse to the stop device C9 of the conveyor track, which in the process releases a piece of goods for input onto the conveyor track. If the ball is carried along by the drum, it then happens another electrical contact z. B. BlIA. Such an electrical contact, referred to here as a working contact, is provided for each row of countersinks.
The working contacts are shifted in relation to one another, as shown in FIG. 2, the shifts corresponding to certain time intervals. The working contacts are arranged to be actuated by a passing ball and to give impulses to the maneuvering arrangements for the input switches of the side routes.
With reference to FIG. 4, a discharge device for a collecting channel will now be described.
The collecting channel is also designated by 23 in FIG. 4 and the discharge device by 25. The feed-out device consists of two tongues 28, 29 which can be actuated simultaneously by one of the pull magnets BUol-BUn.
The tongue 28 is attached above the tongue 29 and is provided with a hole y intended to allow a ball 21 to pass. The tongue 29 attached under the tongue 28 is also provided with a hole x, which, however, is displaced in relation to the hole y, as shown in the figure. After a ball has passed the hole y and when the feed device is actuated by the corresponding pull magnet, this ball will be fed out through the hole x in the tongue 29, while the tongue 28 blocks the balls above it. In this way only one ball will be fed out through the feeder at a time.
The discharge device common to the storage troughs is constructed in a similar way, with the difference that the tongues extend along all storage troughs. The upper tongue is provided with a hole for each storage channel and the lower tongue with a hole in relation to it, also for each storage channel.
This can be seen clearly from Figs. 6-9.
Fig. 5 shows the collecting troughs as seen in the direction of the arrow Vu. It is clear from FIG. 5 that the mechanical accumulator is provided with several collecting channels lying parallel to one another. No further explanation of this figure should be necessary.
6-9 show the storage channels, seen in the direction of arrow V11 according to FIG. The construction of the locking tongues and the feed device can be clearly seen from these figures. The purpose of the figures is to show how balls 21 can be stored in the storage troughs in different positions. These figures also show how the balls can be fed into and out of the storage chutes forwards, as will be described later below.
With reference to FIGS. 10a and 10b, which are to be placed side by side, an electrical circuit diagram of the arrangement will now be described in more detail.
Within the dashed area in the drawing, denoted by A, the details of an arrangement with a punch card reader or a punch tape reader are found, by means of which storage pulses can be issued to the mechanical memory. Within the dot-dashed area in the drawing, labeled B, the details are contained which belong together more closely with the mechanical memory. Within the area marked with two dots followed by a line on the drawing, marked C, some details are shown which belong to the switches and the stop device of the conveyor track. Remaining parts of the circuit diagram show details that z. B. are mounted in a maneuver center.
A large number of the lines shown in the circuit diagram are denoted by letters which correspond to the main parts of the circuit diagram.
The entire system is powered by a DC voltage source of z. B. 24 or 48 volts with power, which is only shown with a plus sign at the very bottom in the left corner of Fig. 10a.
In the drawing, a changeover switch A8 is shown through which arrangements for either automatic or manual storage of free bodies, e.g. B.
Balls, can be switched into the mechanical memory, which bodies correspond to piece goods that are to be entered on the conveyor track.
The automatic storage is accomplished by a punch card or tape reader, shown in the drawing only as a sensing arrangement 30 which is connected to a number of relays A 'and A ", the function of which is described below. Also, a contact A7 is shown , which is activated by a punch card when this is to be sensed with regard to the hole punched in the card.
The manual storage is brought about by means of the push buttons D01-Dn.
The details of the mechanical accumulator shown in the drawing consist of the pull magnets BUor-BUn for the collecting troughs, pulling magnets BM1-BM5 and BMo for the storage troughs, the synchronization contacts BttS-BnS and the working contacts B11A-B, A.
The details shown within area C on the drawing are controlled by the electromagnetically controlled valve CV0 for the synchronization stop Cs, contacts C10, C11 etc. on the switches of the side tracks and the electromagnetic valves CVol-CVn controlled by these for the maneuvering of these switches formed by the contacts Co-C5 located on the conveyor track and finally by the contact Co attached before the synchronization stop.
A tap selector E is also shown in the drawing. This has a contact arm E ', which is arranged for step-by-step regulation and for making contact with the contact points 1-5 in such a way that two nearby contact points become live at the same time for a brief moment.
The level selector is controlled with the help of the electromagnets labeled plus and minus. Such a tap selector is known beforehand and will therefore not be described in more detail here.
A number of control lamps G and a number of relays El-EÏ are connected to the contact points of the step selector, the function of which is described in more detail below.
With the help of the circuit diagram shown, the function of the entire system will now be described in more detail following a working example. We assume that a number of piece goods are on each of the three side routes I, II and III, see e.g. B. Fig. 1 should be entered. We also assume that there are balls in the collecting channels, see e.g. B. Fig. 5, and that the storage channels are empty, see Fig. 6. This means that a ball, which is fed out from one of the collecting channels I, II or III corresponding to the side sections, falls straight through the storage channels to the floor becomes. If we want to use automatic storage in the mechanical store and piece goods are to be fed to the side line I, z. B. punched a punch card with the digits 01.
The punch card is punched with the number 0 in column 1 and number 1 in column 2. The sensing device 30 will give a pulse to the relay A'o, which closes its contact and voltage u. a. to the contacts belonging to relay A "1 through. The sensing device also gives a pulse to the latter relay, the contacts of which are closed.
Line A01 is live. This line can also be made live by means of the Dol push button, in the event that manual storage in the mechanical memory is desired. If instead the destination of the piece goods had been a side line with number 10, the punch card should have been punched with the number 1 in the first column and the number 0 in the second column, with relays A'1 and A "o The line A10 would have become live.
Since the line Aol has become live, the current flows through the pull magnet BUol. The feed device for the collecting channel I is actuated and releases a ball that leads to the bottom of the
Storage channel I falls down because all pull magnets BM1-BM5 are not activated. At the same time, a pulse is passed through a switch-off device 31 and a delay device 32 to the step selector E, which moves one step forward to the contact point 5. The relay Eg receives voltage and responds. Contact 5 of relay E5 closes a circuit via a contact between relay EI6 and pulling magnet BMo. This moves the penultimate locking tongue in the storage channels so that all channels are blocked for the passage of balls.
In a corresponding manner, balls can also be fed to the storage channels II and III, the position shown in FIG. 7 being created. The pull magnets Bims, BM4 and BMj are shown there in their actuated state. The positions of the balls in relation to one another can of course vary in many ways. The number of pull magnets BM and thus the number of locking tongues determine how many destinations of the piece goods can be stored in the storage channels at the same time.
After the position in FIG. 7 has been reached, the step selector E has moved to the contact point 3. The relay E3 has responded and its contacts 3, 4 and 5 closed. Here, circles for the pull magnets BM; BMA and BMs have been closed. The relays E -, - E, have a successively increasing number of contacts which are arranged in such a way that the contacts of a subsequent relay replace the function of all the contacts of the preceding relay. The desired pull magnets remain activated.
When a piece of goods that is to be fed to the side path I has reached the synchronization stop C9, the piece of goods actuates the microswitch Co, which is immediately before the synchronization stop. A pulse goes through the line C to the pulling magnet BMo, whereby the discharge device of the storage troughs is actuated and a ball falls through the gravity trough onto the tangential connection to the rotating drum.
Mainly at the same time as a countersink on the drum takes care of the ball and feeds it around the periphery in rhythm with the rotation of the drum, the ball hits the synchronizing contact Blas. This contact sends an impulse via line B15 to the electromagnetically controlled valve CV9 of the synchronization stop. The stop device is lowered, allowing the piece goods to pass through. An electrical contact, not shown, which occurred afterwards, gives an impulse to the valve CVs, whereby the stop device is lifted again. The piece goods now first close the electrical contact C5, with a pulse going over the line E-e to the relay E16.
This relay responds and breaks the current to the pull magnet BM5, whereby the penultimate locking tongue in the storage channels returns to its starting position. The ball in channel II falls to the ground. Because the relay E16 is then de-energized again, the circuit to the pulling magnet BMo is closed again and the corresponding locking tongue locks like all the storage channels. The above course is illustrated in FIGS. 8 and 9.
The piece goods then pass the electrical contact C4, with a pulse going to the relay E15. The current to the pulling magnet BM4 is interrupted and the corresponding locking tongue lets the next ball in the storage channel one step forward. This is illustrated by FIG. 9.
The piece goods then pass the electrical contacts Cs, C and C1, but the impulses that are emitted have no function in this working example because the pull magnets BMs, BM2 and BM1 cannot actuate any balls in the storage channels.
When the piece goods close the electrical contact C0, on the other hand, an impulse goes to the step magnet of the step selector labeled l \ Minus. The tap selector moves one step backwards from the contact point 3 to the contact point 4, the relay Es and the pulling magnet BM3 being de-energized.
The pull magnets BM4 and BM, however, are continuously energized via the relay E4.
According to the above process, the number of balls in the storage channels has decreased by one, i.e. H. with the same number as the number of piece goods that have passed the synchronization stop.
This can also be expressed in such a way that one of the commands relating to the destination of the piece goods that have been stored in the mechanical memory has been executed.
The ball fed out from the storage channel I will follow the drum 19 in its rotation. The ball closes the normally open contact B11A, see z. B.
FIG. 2. The point in time at which this normally open contact is made corresponds to the point in time at which the piece goods in question have just arrived at the specific side stretch. For the normally open contact B19A z. B. the combined times are tt, t; and t: 3 equals the time that is required to advance a piece goods on the conveyor track from the synchronization stop to the side section III.
Since the electrical contacts B11A and C10 are closed at the same time, the electromagnetically controlled valve CVol for the first switch comes into operation. The piece goods are then fed to the side section I via pneumatic lifting devices. The piece goods then pass an electrical contact, which ensures that the switch is reset to its starting position.
As soon as the synchronization stop is up again, the next piece of goods can be advanced. The work process is the same as that described above. The shortest time between the advancement of two piece goods is the same as the time necessary for an input gate to work. Because the destinations for a number of piece goods can be stored in the mechanical memory in advance, the capacity of the conveyor track can be fully utilized. The entry of the piece goods onto the conveyor is completely automatic and there is no need for any unnecessary loss of time.
With larger systems of this type and with special types of systems, the number of page or storage sections can be very large. For practical and structural reasons, however, the number of recesses in the mechanical memory described above cannot be made infinitely large, and this memory can therefore not be used to advantage if the number of side sections is too large.
The purpose of the embodiment of the invention described below is therefore to achieve a mechanical memory with a very large capacity. This embodiment of the invention shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 is mainly characterized in that the mechanical store includes a screw-like member which is arranged for advancing the free bodies in synchronism with the movement of the conveyor track.
The screw-like organ is seen with grooves that run with a uniform slope along the upper surface of the organ and in which the free body are attached by when the piece goods corresponding to the free bodies are to be transported by the conveyor to certain side routes.
The free bodies are advanced when the screw-like organ rotates, and are guided by guide members in certain paths on which certain electrical contacts are mounted for actuation by means of the free bodies. Each of the side stretches of the conveyor track, possibly with certain exceptions, corresponds to a guide link. A very large number of such guide members can be attached around the screw-like organ, especially if the diameter of the same and thus also its circumference is very large.
11 and 12 show schematically a mechanical memory according to the second embodiment of the invention, only the details have been taken which are necessary for making the invention clear.
In the exemplary embodiment, the mechanical store consists of a screw-like element 100 rotating synchronously with the drive device of the conveyor track, around which a number of guide members 101 are attached. The screw-like member 100, hereinafter referred to as screw, is provided with one or more grooves 102 which run with a uniform gradient along the screw surface. This groove is intended to receive the free bodies 103. The screw is connected to a drive wheel 104 which is connected in a suitable manner to the drive device of the conveyor track.
As can best be seen in FIG. 12, the guide members 101 preferably consist of U-shaped channels, the openings 105 of which face the screw surface. When a free body 103 is mounted in one of the U-shaped grooves 101 and the screw rotates, the free body is moved along the guide member, i. H. along the U-shaped channel, one end of which is moved to the other end.
The free bodies are arranged along a guide element for actuating electrical contacts 106 and 107 during the change in position. In the exemplary embodiment, the contact 106 forms a synchronization contact which actuates the synchronization stop C9. In this case, impulses are sent from the contact 107 to a valve on the switch of the side section 1. The time it takes for a free body to move from contact 106 to contact 107 is equal to T1. The electrical contacts are mounted on the bottom of the U-shaped channels and can be actuated by the free bodies, preferably by means of maneuvering devices 108. There are of course several other options for mounting the contacts.
On each guide member 101 is a gravitational trough
109 arranged. The number of guide links and thus also the number of gravitational troughs is equal to the number of side sections or, under certain circumstances, e.g. B. one unit smaller than this number. A very large number of such guide members 101 and gravity channels 109 can be attached around the periphery of the screw. As can be seen from FIG. 11, the gravitational trough 109 is connected to the upper part 110 of the guide member 101. The gravity trough is also connected to a hole 111 in the lower part of the baffle.
When a free body 103 is displaced along a guide element, it is fed into a collecting reservoir 112 via the upper part of the gravitational trough. The free bodies are fed out from the collecting store, one after the other, by the feed-out device 113, which is maneuvered by the pulling magnet 114. The feed-out device 113 and the pull magnet 114 are
