Wandelement für den Möbelbau Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Wandelement für den Möbelbau, wie es zur Herstellung von Innen- und Aussenwänden, Tablaren oder Türen, z. B. von Küchenmöbeln, Verwendung finden kann. Sol che Wandelemente für Möbel aus homogenem Material, z. B. aus Holz, Metall oder Kunststoff, haben verschie dene Nachteile; entweder sind sie zu schwer und zu teuer, oder sie besitzen zu geringe Festigkeit, oder ihre Isolierfähigkeit ist zu gering; Holzwände z. B. nei gen ausserdem leicht zum Verziehen, während Metall wände zudem meist unerwünscht dröhnen.
Diese Nach teile sucht die vorliegende Erfindung zu vermeiden; sie bezweckt die Schaffung eines Wandelementes für den Möbelbau, das trotz relativ kleinem Gewicht ge nügend Festigkeit und Isolierfähigkeit besitzt, nicht zum Dröhnen neigt und auch ästhetisch befriedigt.
Zu diesem Zweck ist das erfindungsgemässe Wand element gekennzeichnet durch eine Isolierstoffplatte, auf die beidseitig je eine Deckplatte aufgeklebt ist, deren über die Isolierstoffplatte allseitig vorstehende Rand teile an den Schmalseiten der Isolierplatte zusammen stossen. Die mit der Isolierstoffplatte fest verbundenen und mit ihr einen Verbundkörper bildenden Deckplatten können aus Metall, z. B. Stahl- oder Leichtmetallblech bestehen, oder sie können durch relativ dünne, z. B.
glasfaserarmierte Kunststoffplatten gebildet sein; ein sol ches Verbundwandelement kann ohne weiteres die im Möbelbau erforderliche Isoliereigenschaft, Festigkeit und Dicke bei geringem Gewicht und grosser Dröhnfreiheit aufweisen, und da die Deckplatten an Schmalseiten der Isolierstoffplatte zusammenstossen, sind nicht nur diese Schmalseiten ebenfalls vollständig mit Deckplat- tenteilen überdeckt, sondern es fallen auch alle ästhe tisch unerwünschten Naht-- bzw. Stossstellen an den Hauptflächen des Wandelementes weg.
Im folgenden ist die Erfindung an Hand der bei liegenden Zeichnung beispielsweise näher erläutert. In der Zeichnung zeigt: Fig. 1 schaubildlich ein Wandelement nach der Er findung, Fig. 2 in grösserem Massstab einen Querschnitt durch das Wandelement nach der Linie II-II in Fig. 1 und Fig. 3 einen Teil eines Querschnittes analog Fig. 2 durch eine andere Ausführungsform des erfindungsge mässen Wandelementes.
Das in den Fig. 1 und 2 gezeigte Wandelement besitzt einen durch eine Isolierstoffplatte 1 gebildeten Kern, auf welchen beidseitig je ein Metallblech 2a, 2b aufgeklebt ist. Die über die Isolierstoffplatte 1 vor stehenden Randteile 3 der Metallbleche 2a, 2b sind nach innen abgekantet und enden je in einem einwärts abgewinkelten Endflansch 4; die Endflansche 4 der beiden Bleche 2a, 2b stossen in der Mittelebene der Isolierplatte 1 zusammen, so dass die Schmalseiten dieser Platte 1 vollständig von den Randteilen 3 der beiden Bleche 2a, 2b überdeckt sind. Eine spezielle gegen seitige Befestigung der Flansche 4 ist nicht erforderlich, sie tragen auch so zur Versteifung des ganzen Wand elementes bei.
Die Isolierstoffplatte kann aus einem Kunststoff schaum, aus einem Schichtstoff oder aus durch einen geeigneten Kunststoff gebundenen Leichtstoffkörnern, z. B. aus expandiertem gebranntem Ton oder derglei chen, bestehen.
Die Stossstelle der Flansche 4 braucht nicht, wie gezeichnet, in der Mittelebene der Isolierstoffplatte 1 liegen zu bleiben. Anstatt rechtwinklig gegen die Schmalseite der Isolierstoffplatte 1 hin können die En den der Randteile 3 auch um 180 nach innen auf den Randteil 3 zurückgefalzt sein.
Ein solcher Endflansch oder Falz kann aber auch beim einen oder bei beiden Deckplattenblechen weg gelassen sein. Eine Variante dieser Art ist in Fig. 3 dargestellt. Hier ist nur der über die Isolierstoffplatte 1 vorstehende Randteil 13b des einen Deckplattenbleches 12b, die ganze Schmalseite der Isolierstoffplatte 1 über deckend, rechtwinklig abgebogen, dieser Randteil 13b stösst bündig gegen den über die Isolierstoffplatte 1 etwas vorstehenden Randteil 13a des andern Deck- plattenbleches 12a.
Endflanschen oder Falze sind hier an den gegen einanderstossenden Randteilen 13a, 13b nicht vorge sehen, könnten aber am einen oder an beiden Blech randteilen ebenfalls vorhanden sein. Es hat sich in den meisten Fällen als zweckmässig erwiesen, zwischen den die Schmalseiten der Isolierstoffplatte 1 überdeckenden Deckplattenrandteilen und diesen Schmalseiten der Iso- lierstoffplatte einen Spalt frei zu lassen; dadurch ist es möglich, eventuelle Ungenauigkeiten dieser Schmalsei ten (nicht genaue Winkellage, Körnigkeit usw.) durch die genau abwinkelbaren Blechrandteile auszugleichen.
Es versteht sich, dass die beiden Seitenflächen der Isolierstoffplatte 1 auch durch Deckplatten aus unter schiedlichem Material abgedeckt sein können (z. B. Kunststoff und Metall).

The wall element shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a core formed by an insulating plate 1, to which a metal sheet 2a, 2b is glued on both sides. The edge parts 3 of the metal sheets 2a, 2b standing in front of the insulating plate 1 are folded inward and each end in an inwardly angled end flange 4; the end flanges 4 of the two sheets 2a, 2b collide in the center plane of the insulating plate 1, so that the narrow sides of this plate 1 are completely covered by the edge parts 3 of the two sheets 2a, 2b. A special mutual fastening of the flanges 4 is not required, they also contribute to the stiffening of the entire wall element.
The insulating plate can foam from a plastic, from a laminate or from a suitable plastic bound light material grains, for. B. of expanded clay or derglei chen exist.
The joint of the flanges 4 need not, as shown, remain in the center plane of the insulating plate 1. Instead of being at right angles against the narrow side of the insulating plate 1, the En can be folded back to the edge parts 3 by 180 inward onto the edge part 3.

End flanges or folds are not provided here on the abutting edge parts 13a, 13b, but could also be present on one or both sheet metal edge parts. In most cases it has proven to be useful to leave a gap free between the cover plate edge parts which cover the narrow sides of the insulating sheet 1 and these narrow sides of the insulating sheet; this makes it possible to compensate for possible inaccuracies in these narrow sides (incorrect angular position, graininess, etc.) using the precisely angled sheet metal edge parts.
It goes without saying that the two side surfaces of the insulating material plate 1 can also be covered by cover plates made of different materials (e.g. plastic and metal).
