Messvorrichtung
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht der Messvorrichtung im Schnitt,
Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf den Rezeptträger.
Measuring device
The invention relates to a measuring device for the production of mixtures of fine-grained, powdery or liquid substances in containers of a certain shape and size.
A known measuring device for the production of color mixtures has a base on which a vertical support frame is placed with an up and down movable spindle, the head of which carries a downwardly extending sensing element. If the container to be filled is placed on the shelf of the base, the sensing element extends into the container to be filled. The height of the spindle and the sensing element connected to it can be read on a number scale provided in the base. When producing a certain color mixture, the quantities of the individual basic colors are first determined from a recipe book.
Starting from the zero position of the spindle that can be read on the scale, the connection between the sensing element and the spindle is loosened and the sensing element is shifted in relation to the spindle so that the lower end of the sensing element rests on the bottom of the container to be filled and the sensing element and spindle are then tightened Screw firmly connected to each other again. Then, each time a base color is poured into the container to be filled, the spindle and thus the sensing element connected to it is moved upwards until the scale indicating the height of the spindle and the sensing element shows the quantities of the first basic color, the first and second basic colors, the first, second and third primary colors, etc.
The scale can be adjusted to different mixture quantities using a selection button.
The invention has set itself the task of improving this known measuring device in such a way that it is no longer necessary to first read the numerical data for the individual subsets from a recipe and then to set them on a scale of the measuring device.
The invention is based on a measuring device for the production of mixtures of fine-grained, powdery or liquid substances in containers of a certain shape and size, consisting of a, preferably provided with a footplate, vertical column-shaped or wall-designed support frame, a vertically movable support frame carried by it, A sensor element that can be immersed in the container, the height of which can be changed with respect to the support frame and which can be read or adjusted using a zero mark and a scale for the container content determined with the aid of the sensor element, and various recipes corresponding to the mixtures to be produced.
The invention consists in that on the support frame of such a measuring device, a prescription carrier equipped with scales and in the shape of a board, rod or drum is easily exchangeable, with a zero mark attached to the vertically displaceable holding device for the sensing element being adjustable relative to its scale.
For this purpose, the scale of the recipe carrier can have a number or mark in the order of the substance entries for each substance to be filled, the distance from a zero mark on the recipe carrier giving a measure of the total amount filled in after each substance has been entered.
If the measuring device is used to produce color mixtures, for example for the body of motor vehicles, the setting of the sensor element is made easier if the color names on the recipe carriers are at least approximately in the color in question.
In order to reduce the number of recipe carriers required, these can be fastened in different positions on the support frame of the measuring device and different recipes, e.g. B. for different mixture quantities or color mixtures.
In order to ensure that a table-shaped, suitably square recipe carrier, which has several recipes for different amounts of mixture, is attached in the correct position on the support frame of the measuring device, a hole can be provided in the recipe carrier through which each of the different Fastening positions of the recipe carrier, the associated mixture amount can be seen on the support frame.
In order to make it particularly clear when the filled liquid has risen to the lower end of the sensing element, the sensing element, which is preferably designed in the form of a rod, is attached to the vertically adjustable holding device so that it can oscillate.
The Fühilorgan set in vibrations before the filling process is brought to a standstill by the filled liquid as soon as this touches the lower end of the Feeler organ.
The sensing element is expediently attached to the vertically adjustable holding device in an easily detachable manner.
In a preferred embodiment, the base plate of the support frame is designed as a support for the containers to be filled.
In order to rule out measurement inaccuracies that could arise when the bottom of the container to be filled is at different heights due to the different heights of the beading of the container below, the relative position of the sensor body and the vertically movable spindle carrying it is changed in the known measuring device. In order to manage without such an adjustment, the footplate of the measuring device can have several elevations on which the containers sit with their vessel bottoms. Naturally, the elevations must be higher than the largest existing height of the bottom flange of the container.
To determine the exact vertical position of the support frame or the horizontal position of the footplate, the footplate preferably has a mark on which the pendulum sensing element plays when the footplate is horizontal.
To enable the footplate to be adjusted horizontally, it is advantageously equipped with position adjusting members known per se.
In order to be able to collapse the measuring device for transport, the support frame and the footplate can be detachably connected to one another.
In a preferred embodiment, the holding device firmly connected to the arm carrying the sensing element is fastened to the support frame so as to be vertically displaceable and sprung.
In the drawings, an exemplary embodiment of the measuring device according to the invention is shown. Show in detail:
1 shows an axiometric representation of the measuring device with an inserted container,
2 shows a side view of the measuring device in section,
3 shows a plan view of the prescription carrier.
On the support frame 2 detachably connected to the footplate 1, a holding device 3 is arranged so as to be displaceable in the vertical direction. For this purpose, the support frame 2 is equipped with a vertically running slot 4 into which the holding device 3 is guided by means of two screw bolts 5 and 6. As a result of the pressure of the springs 7 and 8 wound around the screw bolts 5 and 6, the holding device 3 is held in its respective height position on the support frame 2 in a sprung manner. On the arm 9 rigidly connected to the holding device 3, the rod-shaped and downwardly pointed sensing element 10 is suspended in an easily detachable and oscillating manner. The upper edge 13 of the arm 9 of the holding device serves as a zero mark.
Because of its square shape, the tablet-shaped recipe carrier 11 can be pushed into the support frame 2 in different positions and is easily exchangeable.
The recipe carrier has in addition to at least one of its edges, suitably next to several of its edges, a recipe for a mixture, for. B. from the components A-D in the form of a scale with a zero mark 18. The front and back can show recipes for different mixes, the recipes on one side refer to the same mix but different amounts of mix. A hole 12 provided in the recipe carrier reveals a number affixed to the support frame 2 which indicates the amount of mixture that corresponds to the scale required by the respective insertion position of the recipe carrier to interact with the vertically displaceable holding device 3 for the sensing element 10 affixed zero mark 13 arrives.
If, for example, the upper edge 19 of the recipe carrier 11 of FIG. 3 is also provided with a scale, the hole 12 in the insertion position required for this scale for use comes into a position through which the view of a number attached to the support frame 2 is released which indicates the amount of mixture corresponding to the scale on the upper edge 19.
On the footplate 1 a number of elevations 15 are attached, on which the container 16 to be filled is placed with its bottom. The lower beaded edge of the container is then a short distance above the footplate. The footplate also has a mark 17 on which the pendulum-capable sensing element 10 plays in its lowered position when the footplate is in a horizontal position.
