Electrical switching device The present invention relates to an electrical switching device with a switching element which is controlled by a rotatable actuating part, is provided with two parallel contact paths and can be pressed and unrolled resiliently on two contact paths, and in which at least one of these contact paths is Number of non-conductive sections is interrupted.
The previously known electrical Schalteinrichtun gene of this type have as contacts systems of Fe countries or so-called contact brushes that slide when switching to the contact surfaces. The disadvantage of some devices designed in this way is that, in order to achieve perfect contact between the contact and the pantograph, you have to choose a relatively large contact pressure that causes a large resistance when switching. This results in a large torque acting on the axis of the switching device.
In addition, in commutators in which the current collectors are designed as coals that are resiliently pressed onto the contact surface, considerable carbon wear and smeared carbon particles on the entire circuit path. Furthermore, the relatively high specific resistance of the Koh lenwerkstoffs has an unfavorable effect. The coal dust that arises when the coal is worn out penetrates the bearings, which has a particularly unfavorable effect on small electric motors.
Another disadvantage associated with the use of a commutator of a known type is the large amount of noise generated, which is particularly disadvantageous when using a collector motor in transportable devices used for sound recording. From an electrical point of view, the brushing fire, which occurs when the coal passes from one lamella to the other, also interferes.
This brush fire is a result of the sudden change in the direction of the current that passes through the coal when it passes between two adjacent lamellae.
It is an aim of the present invention to eliminate the drawbacks mentioned. To achieve this goal, the invention is characterized in that the switching element with the help of a spring, a sliding chuck and an electrically nonconductive hub is placed on a shaft concentric with the axis of a feed ring carrying a contact track and a collector ring carrying the other contact track .
In an advantageous embodiment, a number of the conductive sections of the feed ring can be combined in groups. These sections are then electrically connected to one another and the groups are routed to separate terminals for connection to sources of different voltages.
It can also be useful if successive conductive sections of the feed ring belonging to different groups are assigned to a conductive section of the collector ring, in which case the layers of the non-conductive sections of the collector ring then correspond to the layers of the non-conductive sections between conductive sections of successive groups of the feed ring.
For example, embodiment of the subject invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. 1 shows an axial section through the electrical switching device, FIG. 2 shows a section AA through the switching device according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a schematic representation of the feed ring and the collector ring of the electrical switching device according to FIG. 1, FIG. 4 shows the voltage curve in the switching device according to FIG. 3,
5 shows a further schematic representation of the feed ring and the collector ring of the Schalteinrich device, FIG. 6 shows the voltage curve in the Schalteinrich device according to FIG. 5, FIG. 7 shows a schematic representation of the feed ring and the collector ring of the electrical Schalteinrich device with groups of lamellae and the non-conductive ones 8 shows the voltage curve in the device according to FIG. 7,
and FIG. 9 shows an axial section through the electrical switching device, in which the actuating element surrounds the switch contacts.
The electrical switching device according to FIG. 1 be available from a non-conductive body 1, wherein a feed ring 10 and a collector ring 11 are attached. In the cavity of the body 1, a shaft 2 with axis 20 and a non-conductive hub 3 with axis 30 is introduced. The axes 20 and 30 are mutually parallel and eccentric. The eccentric position is secured by the Fe of 22, which is attached to the shaft 2 by one of its parts with the aid of the screw 21, while it leans against the non-conductive hub 3 in the groove 31 by its other part. A sliding chuck 32, on which a switching element 4 is rotatably arranged, is attached to the hub 3. The axial position of the switching element 4 is secured by the ring 33.
To reduce friction, the Schaltele element 4 is provided with an inner recess 41, while an outer recess 42 and functional surfaces 43 are formed on its circumference, with the help of which the switching element 4, the surface 101 of the Spei serings 19 and the surface 111 of the collector ring 11 touched.
The collector ring 11 is designed in such a way that a non-conductive gap 112 is formed therein, which in this case occupies 180 of the circumference of the collector ring 11, as shown in FIG. 2. The gap 112 is filled with an electrically non-conductive material in such a way that a smooth surface 111 of the collector ring 11 is retained.
The electrical switch can also be constructed as illustrated in FIG. In this case, the shaft with axis 20 is immobile, while the body 1 of the switch is rotatable. On the shaft 2, which is non-conductive, the feed ring 10 and the collector ring 11 have surfaces 101 and 111. In the body 1 a groove 13 is made, in which the tongue 22 is attached with its central part. The tongue 22 is fitted in the groove 31 of the non-conductive hub 3 by its ends.
In the non-guiding hub 3, a sliding chuck 32 is formed which guides the switching element 4. The functional surfaces 43 of the switching element 4 are pressed towards the surfaces 101 and 111 of the feed ring 10 and the collector ring 11 by the action of the spring 22.
The electrical switch can also be constructed in such a way that the hub 3 is made of a conductive material and the sliding lining 32 is made of a non-conductive material.
The function of the electrical switching device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is as follows. The feed ring 10 is connected to a voltage source; the source and type of connection are not shown since they are not essential for the function of the subject matter of the invention. The collector ring 11 is performed to dissipate the voltage from the feed ring 10 with the aid of the switching element 4 from. The hub 3 is pressed into the position shown in FIG. 1 by the spring 22. In the position shown, the switching element 4 leans against the surface 101 or 111 of the feed ring 10 and the collector ring 11 through a small portion of the functional surfaces 43.
Theoretically, the contact is limited to a straight line. As a result, the feed ring 10 is interconnected with the collector ring 11 and the voltage supplied to the feed ring 10 can be removed from the collector ring 11. The hub 3 made of an insulating material protects the other mechanism of the electrical switch - spring 22 and shaft 2 - from the conductive connection with the switched voltage. When the shaft 2 is rotated, the spring 22 is carried along with the screw 21, which then again carries the hub 3 with the aid of the walls of the groove 31.
As a result, the switching element 4 is also taken along and rolled on the surfaces 101 and 111 of the feed ring 10 and the collector ring 11. The radial pressure of the spring 22 ensures a constant and perfect contact of the functional surfaces 43 of the switching element 4 with the surfaces 101 and 111. At the moment when the contact point of the switching element 4 with the feed ring 10 and the collector ring 11 changes into a position, where a non-conductive gap 112 is formed in the collector ring 11, the circuit of the two rings is interrupted and the switch does not conduct any voltage - that is, it is switched off.
The switching character of the switching device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. The feed ring 10 and the collector ring 11 are shown next to one another by thick lines, while the non-conductive gap 112 is shown by a thin line. The switching element 4 is shown schematically by arrows, the tip of which determines the location of its contact with the upper surface 101 or 111 of the feed ring 10 or the collector ring 11.
The starting position shown in Fig. 3 corresponds to the beginning of the diagram of FIG. H. the 0 position.
When the switching element 4 is turned in the direction of arrow S, the switch conducts the current in positions 0 to 180, while it is switched off in positions 180 to 360. Thus, when the feed ring 10 is connected to a direct current source on the collector ring 11, a pulsating voltage can be obtained with the switch according to FIG. 1, the curve of which is shown in FIG. In this figure, the position of the switching element 4 is recorded on the horizontal axis and the voltage on the collector ring 11 is recorded on the vertical axis.
In another embodiment of the Schaltein direction, the collector ring 11 can be designed as the who, as shown in Fig. 5, d. H. with three narrow non-conductive gaps 113, 114, 115, which are mutually 120 apart. When the feed ring 10 is connected to a direct current source, electrical pulses can be successively obtained in the individual parts X, Y, Z of the collector ring 11, the width of which corresponds to one revolution of the switching element 4 by 120 and their starting points are also shifted by 120 relative to one another are.
The course of the individual voltages is shown in FIG. Can therefore be obtained by the executed according to Fig. 5 scarf ter electrical pulses of the same length in three phases and mutually shifted by 120.
It is also possible to lead trainees the feed ring 10 with a larger number of non-conductive gaps, for. B. with nine gaps, as shown in Fig. 7 is illustrated. As a result, nine lamellae 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110 are formed on the feed ring 10. The collector ring 11 has three non-conductive gaps 113, 114, 115 similar to the previous case. The non-conductive gaps 113, 114, 115 formed on the collector ring 11 correspond to the three specific gaps on the feed ring 10 due to their position.
These three specific gaps separate the system of the individual lamellas into three groups, which are again referred to as X, Y, Z. The middle lamella 103, 106, 109 of each of the groups X, Y, Z is connected to a source of higher voltage, z. B. 12 V, while the remaining fins 102, 104, 105, 107, 108, 110 to a source of lower voltage, e.g. B. 6 V, can be connected. When Dre hen the switching element 4 from the illustrated starting position in the direction of arrow S, a voltage of graduated size is fed to the corresponding parts of the collector ring 11, as is graphically shown in FIG.
The individual pulses obtained in phases X, Y, Z, which are mutually shifted by 120, have a character that approximates a sinus curve. With the formation of a larger number of lamellas in the individual groups of the feed ring 10 and with a corresponding graduation of the voltages supplied to the individual lamellas, the course of the pulses can be even more approximated to a sinusoidal course.
From FIG. 7 it can be seen that two lamellas 104, 105; 107, 108; 110, 102 of the feed ring 10, each of which belongs to a different group, e.g. B. the lamellae 104, 105 of the Grup pe XY, are connected to the source of the same voltage. It is therefore not necessary to form a non-conductive gap between them.
The separation of these two lamellas, i.e. H. the transition from group X to group Y is carried out through a corresponding non-conductive gap 113 on the collector ring 11.
The above switch has the following advantages over the previous switches, especially commutators known design: The pressure of the switching element 4, which has the shape of a ring, is much smaller than the pressure that is exerted on the contact brushes of a commutator running type. The switching element 4 can be made of a highly conductive material, for. B. be made of copper, whereby its specific counter stand is reduced. Another advantage is that no abrasion forms, as was the case with contact brushing of the commutators used up to now.
The rolling switch element 4 also exhibits minimal wear and tear and the operation of such a switch or commutator is significantly quieter than existing designs. All of these facts mean a reduction in the required drive force and the rolling of the contacts also causes the brush fire to be much smaller when passing over the non-conductive gap, possibly, if small currents are switched, it does not occur at all.
When switching larger currents, the brush fire can be significantly reduced by switching individual lamellae of the feed ring 10, as shown in FIG. 7, so that the voltage switched when changing from one lamella to the other is lower than the maximum switched value . At the same time, the course of the switched voltage can be designed as desired, as can be seen from FIGS.
All these advantages are particularly noticeable in small portable devices, especially in motors for recording cameras or tape recorders and in commutators that are used in devices for dubbing amateur films, both in projectors and in sound couplers, d. H. Devices that ensure correct synchronization of the motion picture projector and the tape recorder.
The advantages of the switch described above are particularly noticeable in the case of amateur equipment used to set the film to music, as no sparks are generated that interfere with the sound recording and the mechanical and electrical resistances are significantly reduced so that the performance of the built-in batteries is relatively increased .
