Wastewater wells operating in conjunction with a biological wastewater purifier. The invention relates to a wastewater fountain which operates in conjunction with a biological wastewater purifier, in particular a small cleaner, and from which the water is pumped into the purifier.
So far, the wastewater has been pumped into a biological cleaner, from which the purified water has escaped directly into a body of water. In small cleaning plants, wastewater accumulates unevenly and periodically even in large quantities. As a result, the cleaning system does not work effectively and continuously, which affects the cleaning of the water.
The present invention aims to eliminate the aforementioned drawback.
The waste water well according to the invention is characterized in that a vessel is set up in the waste water well through which the water is led away from the cleaner, and that there is a valve at the bottom of the vessel which is set up to work automatically in such a way that when the water level is so high in the vessel that the difference between this water level and the water level in the waste water well exceeds a predetermined value, the valve opens and purified water flows from the vessel into the waste water well,
but that when the said water level difference falls below a further predetermined value, the valve closes.
Since purified water can flow from the vessel into the waste water well through the valve mentioned, as soon as the water level in the well has dropped below a pre-P 0 level, the cleaner can work continuously. It follows from this that the majority of the wastewater is run through the cleaner several times, at least during quiet times, before the water is released into the area, which significantly increases the cleaning effect.
Since the valve on the vessel always closes when the wastewater level has risen to a given height, the purified water in the vessel cannot mix with the water in the wastewater well.
The bottom of the vessel installed in the well is preferably conical in shape, so that this vessel also acts as a secondary clarifier and that the filter sludge that has accumulated on the bottom of the vessel, which is always present in some quantities in purified water, can escape through the valve is, can achieve. The wastewater conveying pump can be arranged floating on the water surface, so that water of the most favorable quality with regard to the cleaning process is conveyed into the cleaner, which contains only a few solid particles.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the sewage well according to the invention in vertical section.
In the wastewater well 1 shown, the wastewater enters through a drain pipe 2 which lies above the central plane of the well. In the well, a vessel 4 is placed on feet 3 attached to the well bottom, which carries a lower part 5 trichterförmi ges at its lower end. In the upper end of the vessel 4 opens a pipe 6 from a biological cleaning cabinet (not shown), which introduces the purified water in said cabinet into the said vessel 4. In order to direct the pure water away from the vessel 4, the drain pipe 7 leads out of the well 1 from the upper end thereof.
In the wastewater fountain there is a floating pump 9 supported by swimmers 8, which periodically continuously promotes wastewater from the fountain 1 through the pipe 11 into the cleaning cabinet. Since the pump 9 is arranged on floats, it always follows the water level in the well, and consequently ge always reaches the closet with regard to the cleaning process as cheap as possible water that contains few solid particles. At the bottom of the vessel 4 there is a valve 10 of any type known per se.
It is set up to work automatically in such a way that as soon as the difference between the water level a in the well and the water level b in the vessel reaches a certain size, the valve opens, with purified water then flowing from the vessel 4 into the well 1, and that the valve closes again as soon as the difference between the mentioned water levels falls below a given level. Waste water cannot get into the vessel 4 itself, but water can flow out of the vessel. The difference in water levels can also be set so that the water does not rise into the incoming drainage pipe if the latter is below the upper edge of the vessel, as is often the case.
The pump 9 is designed to work continuously so that it always pumps wastewater from the well into the cleaning cabinet at given time intervals. This is possible because, in spite of the only temporary accumulation of wastewater in the well, it always contains enough water so that water can flow from the vessel 4 into the well. Precisely this means that the pump can work continuously. As already mentioned, this in turn causes the wastewater to pass through the cleaner several times before it escapes into a body of water.
