Device for winding up continuously tapering yarn
The present invention relates to a device for winding up continuously tapering yarn in the form of a lap, the yarn being automatically wound onto an empty tube at the end of the winding process, consisting of at least two tubes in an axially parallel arrangement on a support, a device for Ejecting the finished lap and introducing an empty tube into the winding position, a drive to drive the tube at the beginning and during the winding process, the finished lap being removed from the area of the drive means at the end of the winding process, on which device there are also yarn displacement means ,
which move the yarn over the end of the new tube when a winding is completed, where it is held by holding means and caused to be wound onto the empty tube that has been brought into the winding position, and that cross-laying means are also available which ensure cross-laying of the yarn when winding. According to the invention, this device is characterized in that a transmission mechanism is arranged in such a way that the unwinding of the full lap is prevented at least until the yarn between the finished lap and the empty tube is severed. The invention also relates to a method for operating such a device.
Embodiments of the invention are discussed below:
The yarns come from a continuous delivery belt, e.g. B. the spinneret. The transfer of the yarn to an empty tube after completion of the winding takes place without an interruption in the winding due to the transfer. The device comprises at least 2 tubes, which are attached with their axles parallel to one another on a substructure, as well as an ejection device, which causes the finished roll to be moved out of the winding position and an empty tube to be moved into the winding position,
further drive means, which start to drive one of the tubes at the beginning of the winding operation and disengage from the winding again after the winding operation has ended by extending the finished winding from the winding position, and further guide means to guide the running yarn, which means are so arranged are that after completion of the winding, the running yarn is moved parallel to the tube axis in a position outside the tube end, where it is held before it is wound onto an empty tube after the latter has been brought into the winding position.
An apparatus of this type will hereinafter be referred to as an apparatus of the type described.
For the sake of simplicity, the term drive means or drive mechanism is understood in the following to mean that part of the device, insofar as it is used to drive the sleeve, which includes both moving means for driving the roll and any transmission mechanism (e.g. a clutch) or any auxiliary drive means for acceleration of the core to the winding speed.
It is known that certain conventional devices of this type can cause the roll to be ejected before it has, for example, reached its maximum size. In the present case, a complete lap is therefore also understood to be one which is smaller than an effectively complete lap.
An embodiment of the invention relates to a device of the type described, in which the ejection operation of the finished lap takes place in such a way that the yarn is transferred to an empty tube and its winding is started there without the winding operation and thus the collection of the yarn being interrupted.
At the beginning of the winding of the new lap, the yarn is interrupted.
With regard to the drive means, it is known to drive each individual tube on such devices, the relevant motor being controlled by programming means, which programming means are arranged so that the complete lap is ejected after a predetermined time, the motor being activated or shut down and possibly act on the finished winding braking means to bring it to a rapid standstill.
It is also known to use braking means where the individual sleeves have no individual drive.
It is known to use such winding apparatuses which can use sleeves which do not have a yarn catching device arranged on their surface to be wound. Such devices for catching the yarn are, for example, cams or rough surface parts on the tube surface. Sleeves which do not contain such devices are generally cheaper, which is why they are also more suitable as disposable sleeves, but are also easier to clean.
It is also known to use yarn catching devices on winding devices, for example in the form of a hook, a slot or cams, which are attached to the tube carrier in the vicinity of the tube end.
With one embodiment of the present invention, however, a winding device of the type described is created, which has drive means which are associated with the drive of the tube carrier and which have a single drive device and a transmission mechanism or such mechanisms in such an arrangement that a non-unwinding of the formed Winding does not happen in the complete state or at least does not take place until the yarn has been interrupted and the empty tube, which goes into the working position, has come into the winding position.
Such a transmission mechanism does not have to be interposed between the drive device and the roll, in particular if the roll is driven on the surface by a tangential drive with a roller. For example, this mechanism can be connected to each individual case carrier, for example continuously. so that the reel can only rotate in the driven direction.
In such an embodiment, the device according to the invention has a device on each tube carrier which allows its rotation g only in one direction, whereby the unwinding of finished laps is avoided by simple means.
An embodiment of the device of the type described also has a yarn extension device which causes the yarn to extend in such a way that it is held by an annular zone immediately next to the tube on the tube carrier, which zone has a surface to catch the thread .
According to another embodiment of the invention, the device comprises drive means for driving the tube carrier, which comprises a single drive device, one or more transmission mechanisms to ensure that the finished lap is not unwound before the yarn is interrupted and the new lap begins to wind, and yarn extension means, the latter including the yarn extend so that it is held by a rotatable device at an iron point beyond the end of the empty tube, so that the first winding of the thread on the empty tube locks the thread on the empty tube, in that this first winding crosses a portion of the thread near the tube end, which ran before the yarn part of the first turn.
A lock in the above sense can be understood as such on the tube carrier or at the end e of the tube itself on its surface, but the yarn must be held outside the end of the cylindrical tube surface if this itself has no catching means.
In one embodiment of the invention, each tube carrier has an annular part in the vicinity of the tube end which is rotatable with the tube, this ring part being roughened so that it catches the yarn.
For example, rollers arranged parallel to the sleeve, which drive the sleeve tangentially, can be provided as drive means.
Since means are provided, which the unwinding of the finished; Prevent lap, for example a locking device which allows the finished lap to be turned in only one direction, and since the yarn is locked on the next tube to be wound, or at least rotates with the tube, the yarn must be between the finished lap and the new one to be wound Tear off the sleeve when sufficient torque is generated by the drive means. So even a coarse-denier yarn cannot be unwound before the winding is removed from the winding position, even if the yarn does not break.
This positive yarn breaking effect of the device makes the use of a cutting device superfluous. This is advantageous because such a cutting device can never work with the temporal precision that automatically entails a tear-off effect if you do not want to use extremely complicated constructions whose control and use are extremely problematic.
The locking turn will cause a satisfactory anchoring of the same on the new closer tube even after the thread breaks.
The yarn guide means can also comprise means for laying the yarn transversely on the bobbin by moving it back and forth. The guide eye can be open. However, if the yarn is of relatively old age, it is preferable to provide a second yarn guiding device, which is located in front of the transverse yarn guide and which is in a fixed position approximately opposite the center of the tube while the winding is being made. This second yarn guide can be provided in any case and can also form the means which are used to extend the yarn beyond the tube end.
In this case, the second yarn guide can be moved parallel to the tube up to a point outside of the cylindrical tube surface.
Whether you have a second yarn guide. whether or not it is used, the means used to extend the yarn also cause the yarn to be returned over the cylinder surface of the tube after it has been held beyond the end of the tube, and it is entirely possible to keep the yarn in contact with these extension means throughout the winding process left.
A suitable arrangement is that in which the yarn is grasped by the yarn guide means as soon as it is brought back into the region of the sleeve by the extension means, which can be achieved by the mutual arrangement of the corresponding device parts.
The extension means can be arranged coupled to the bobbin ejection means in order to effect both the ejection of the full lap and the insertion of the empty tube in such a way that the thread is extended automatically at a predetermined point in time of the ejection of the full lap, for example when the yarn was taken out of the cross-laying medium by the movement of the lap to be ejected.
The tube carriers are expediently arranged aohparahel each other, on a common base, which can be rotated by the coil ejector around a pivot point practically equal to the axes of the tube carriers, so that the tube carriers can be moved at the same time when the winding is finished and the empty tube can be moved at the same time kelstellunig brought out the full lap in Wik.
Aids are provided to clean the empty tube prior to the beginning of the winding operation; H. before entering the wrapping position, to accelerate to the required speed so that the inertia of the empty tube does not delay the ejection process.
The ejection action of the device is designed automatically by arranging a control device in such a way that the ejection action is initiated when a certain time has elapsed from the beginning of the winding, or so that the initiation of the ejection process by scanning means of a certain thickness of the Winding is initiated dependent.
The invention also relates to a method for operating a device according to the invention.
An example of a device according to the invention is described below with reference to the drawings.
1 is a partially sectioned front view in elevation of a device according to the invention, which shows the tube carrier and the associated drive roller as well as the yarn guide, and FIG
Fig. 2 is a side elevation view in the direction of arrow II in Fig. 1 of the same device, with various parts omitted for clarity of illustration.
The device 10 for winding yarns from a continuous delivery point, in particular yarns with a heavy denier, for example freshly spun yarn 11 (3000 denier) coming from the spinneret, comprises three tube carriers 12 which are axially parallel to each other and extend from the vertices of the support 13 are arranged. The support 13 has the shape of an equilateral triangle and can rotate about its axis of symmetry, about which axis the three sleeve carriers are arranged symmetrically parallel to the axis.
Each sleeve carrier 12 comprises a metal cylinder 14 which is mounted on ball bearings 15 on a coaxially arranged profiled shaft 16, which shaft is fastened to the support 13. A backstop 17 is also part of the sleeve carrier, which backstop is arranged between shaft 16 and cylinder 14 and has a conventional design. A sleeve 18 can be slid onto the cylinder 14 and is held thereon such that it is held by a conventional locking device 19 and rotates with the cylinder 14.
The end of the sleeve 18 facing the support 13 is a close fit with the groove 21 of the annular member 22 of channel-like cross-section, which member 22 is attached to the inner part of the cylinder 14 by screw connection 23, shown at 23, and this screw connection is secured by the adjusting screw 24. The radially outer surface of the link 22 is covered with a glued-on strip 25 of rough material (available under the trademark Velcro).
The sleeve 18 is arranged such that it is rotated when it is in the winding position by frictional drive with the surface of the drive roller 26 which is arranged axially parallel to and below the sleeve 18. The support 13 is carried by a lever 27 (Fig. 2) and is pivotably mounted at 28 on the main frame of the apparatus, so that the sleeve 18 can move away from the drive roller 26 as the winding diameter increases, but always with the roller 26 in Contact remains. The winding or the amount of yarn 29 wound on the tube is approved in FIG. 1 by dashed lines, as it would exist in its entirety, that is to say finished.
A traverse mechanism of conventional construction connected to drive roller 26 by belt drive 30 is provided. This mechanism comprises an open-eyed yarn guide 31, which goes back and forth parallel to the axis of the lap 29 in the vicinity of its lower peripheral part and protrudes from the housing 32.
A second guide 33 is attached in front of the reciprocating guide 31 (with respect to the yarn running direction) and is arranged approximately in the middle of the tube 18, where it stands still during the winding process. The guide 33 can be displaced axially parallel to the sleeve by means of a rod 34 and a pneumatic piston 35, which mechanism, as described below, can be operated automatically.
The support 13 has a profiled axis 36 about which it rotates and which is arranged on the opposite side to the sleeve carriers 12 of the support plane. This axis 36 is rotatably mounted in a bore in the lever 27.
As can be seen better from Fig. 2, (where the main frame and everything else of the device with the exception of the flange 40 extending in the peripheral direction on support 13 has been omitted) the axis 36 with an eccentric 41 through a backstop in connection, which generally is designated with 42 and the backstop 17 in the sleeve carriers 12 is similar.
The eccentric 41 is arranged to engage with two other links, one of which is a stationary link 43 which remains in contact with the eccentric 41 while the support pivots about point 28 in the course of winding. : The second link comprises a rack 45 which is arranged so that it engages with the toothing 46 cooperating with it on a cylindrical surface belonging to the eccentric 41 and coaxial with the axis 36, the toothing extending over said cylinder surface extends an arc of about 210 angles. The rack 45 is part of the ejection mechanism of the device and is actuated pneumatically via piston 47 similar to piston 35, which piston is mounted on lever 27.
The stroke length of the cylinders or pistons 35 and 47 can be adjusted by means of stops. The use of the operation of this piston in one or the other opening can be switched in a conventional manner, e.g. B. in the case of piston 47 by closing a microswitch and thus an electrical circuit which switches on the piston mechanism, and in the case of piston 35 by an electrical time delay switch.
When the sleeve is full, i.e. H. the roll 29 is ready, the support 13 is in the raised position in relation to the drive roller 26 and the pushing mechanism starts under the action of the activated piston 47 the pushing movement, whereby the roll 29 is removed from the winding position by the rack 45 is pushed to the left (see FIG. 2), whereby the running yarn 11 is simultaneously lifted out of the guide 31 by the displacement of the lap. In this way, the actuation of the piston 47 causes a rotation of the eccentric 41, but because of the backstop 42, the support shaft 36 does not rotate. It will be understood that the first part of the rotation of the eccentric 41 takes place with practically no resistance until the reel 29 lifts off the drive roller 26.
If the ejection movement is triggered before the roll has reached its largest possible diameter, the restriction or loading of the rotation of the eccentric 41 will occur relatively sooner, and the eccentric will have to lift the roll further.
The return of the piston 47 is caused by the closing of the microswitch, not shown. The piston then causes the eccentric 41 to rotate clockwise when the device is viewed as in FIG. 2, in which direction the backstop 42 positively connects the eccentric 41 to the axis 36, so that the support 13 is rotated and the finished roll 29 is removed from the drive roller 26 and the sleeve 18l is brought into the winding position. In the meantime, the support 13 is lowered onto the roller 26, the eccentric 41 being moved over the fixed link 43 so that when the support has made about 1200 rotation, the empty sleeve 18 comes into contact with the drive roller 26 .
The first part of the rotary movement of the support causes the closure of a microswitch (not shown) in which a cam member drives a round eccentric with three projections, which is attached to the axis 36. This closes the circuit which causes the piston 35 to move to the right (in FIG. 1) and thereby bring the yarn guide to the support 13 in such a way that the yarn 11 in the way of the rough band 25 at the end of the empty tube 18l runs.
The yarn 11 comes into contact with the rough strip 25 and is rotated by this as soon as the sleeve 18l is rotated by contact with the drive roller 26. In the meantime, the yarn guide 33 is returned to its starting position, which in turn is brought about by the return of the piston 35, and thus the yarn 11 is returned to a point above the sleeve 181. This causes a twist of the yarn, which wraps around that yarn section which leads to the rough strip 25, whereby the.
Yarn is locked, which effect must happen near the end of the tube 18t, but does not necessarily arise on the tube itself. The return of the piston 35 and thus of the yarn guide 33 takes place by terminating the electrical circuit, not shown, in which an easily adjustable time delay switch is built.
In this way, by locking the yarn, it is caused to be wound up in a satisfactory anchoring on the new tube, and the yarn is again fed into the yarn guide 31 of the laying device, whereby a new winding process can begin.
The locking of the yarn on the new tube 18l also causes the yarn 11 to be torn off as a result of the rotary movement of the tube 18i between this tube and the lap 29, the backstop 17 preventing the lap 29 from being partially pulled off by the tear-off pressure. In this way there is no need for a yarn cutting device.
The rotation of the support 13 and the triggering of the ejection process can take place automatically after the completion of the manufacture of the roll 29, for example by installing a scanning element of this type which triggers the movement of the piston 47 when it reaches a certain winding size.
On the other hand, this actuation g of the piston 47 can be purely time-dependent, regardless of the winding diameter, whereby a time will of course be selected which ensures the formation of a winding of correct dimensions.
