Multiple wiring duct In electrical distribution systems, switchboards and ap parate scaffolding, the connecting wires are often laid in bundles in a known manner in U-shaped ducts made of insulating material profiles and provided with covers.
In the endeavor to make a switchboard as space-saving as possible, one encounters the difficulty of installing several wiring ducts next to one another in the case of a very compact design. However, an arrangement of the usual channels on top of one another would require a much more complicated type of attachment.
The present invention aims to circumvent this disadvantage by allowing several channels to be simply plugged one above the other, with only the bottom channel of the stack having to be attached to its base.
Your subject is a multiple wiring channel, consisting of at least two elastic insulating material profiles arranged one above the other and a cover that fits there, which profiles comprise a web and two legs and together form an essentially U-shaped base profile,
along the transition points between the web and the two legs on the outside of the U-shaped basic profile, an indentation is formed so that when two identical basic profiles are plugged onto one another, the lateral indentations,
Snap into place on the upper base profile with beads arranged on the leg ends of the lower base profile.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown in section, in which three identical profiles are plugged onto one another.
The basic profile forming a single wiring duct 1 is essentially U-shaped. Along the transition points between the web 2 and the two legs. 3 and 3 ', on or on the outside of the profile, an indentation 4 and 4' is formed, which is form-fitting with the beads 5 and 5 'arranged on the leg ends, in the manner
that two identical basic profiles that are plugged onto one another snap into place and thus stick together. As an insulating material for the production of the profiles, a plastisol, for.
B. polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are used, the mechanical properties of which are chosen so that when plugging the Pro file, the legs give way ela stically without too much force and after snapping but hold on enough.
As the illustrated embodiment shows, the U-shaped profile can be divided by an intermediate wall 6 consisting of the same piece and running parallel to the legs. So that this wall can be easily broken out when not in use, it has a cross-sectional constriction 7 at its attachment point with the web. The partition wall has broken out of the lowest of the drawn profiles.
For lateral support of the intermediate wall, a guide channel 8 is arranged on the web underside of the profile. Figure 9 is a profile of known shape for the top cover, the wiring duct. The guide channel 10 on the cover profile for an intermediate wall present below can also be omitted.
In order to attach a multiple wiring duct to the base, it is sufficient to screw on the lowest profile using holes 11 punched out in the web, or to provide retaining springs which snap into the indentations 4 and 4 '.
The lead wires can also be led out laterally through openings 12 or 13 cut out in the legs, as indicated by dashed lines in the drawing.
