Device for rotor blade understanding in helicopters In order to be able to maneuver a helicopter, the rotor blades must be adjustable and connected to the control levers by means of a linkage.
The transition from the rods that are stationary to the rods that rotate with the rotor blades generally takes place via a so-called Taurnel disk, which was previously placed between the gearbox of the drive of the rotor shaft and. the rotor blades was arranged.
This resulted in a complicated adjustment mechanism for the rotor blades, which was also exposed to the weather. As a result, it was very expensive to buy and maintain. meant one of the most important. Sources of danger from the helicopter flight.
The invention now relates to a device for adjusting the rotor blade in helicopters, which is characterized in that it is arranged in the interior of a hollow, rotating rotor shaft, rotating bumpers,
at the lower end of the rotor shaft means for converting the control movements in longitudinal movements of the bumpers and. at the upper end of the rotor shaft means for converting the longitudinal movements of the push rods into an adjustment of the rotor blades.
If a gear is provided to drive the rotor shaft, the means for converting the control movements into longitudinal movements of the push rods expediently consist of a so-called swash plate, which is arranged below the gear, each rotor blade being assigned a push rod.
In the drawing, an example Ausfüh approximately form of the subject invention is shown. The device has for converting the Steuerbewegun gene in longitudinal movements of the push rods 3 a, 3 b, 3 c on a swash plate 10 arranged below the gear 1 for driving the rotor shaft 2. This serves as a transition link from the stationary to the rotating adjustment rod.
If a vertical movement change is to be carried out with the helicopter, then the height control lever 16 is actuated in the corresponding direction, and the adjustment fork 14, which is rotatably and pivotably mounted in the support 18, is shifted in the guide 19 via a bracket 15 .
The adjustment fork is in turn connected via an adjustment cage 12 and a ball bearing to a rotating swash plate 10 to which the push rods 3a, 3b, 3c for the rotor blade adjustment are articulated by means of ball heads 11a, 11b, 11c. The actuation of the height control lever 16 results in a constant blade adjustment, d. H. all rotor blades 7, 8, 9 are adjusted simultaneously by the same angle.
If the helicopter is now to carry out a change in horizontal movement, the control stick 17 is actuated in the corresponding direction, the adjusting cage 12 being tilted by the connecting rod 13 by a certain angle about its pivot axes. This means that the rotor blades are assigned a specific angle of inclination for each position; one therefore speaks of a periodic blade adjustment.
Each rotor blade is rotatably mounted in a joint head 6, which in turn is connected to the rotor head gelen kig, and by means of an adjustable Ver connecting piece 5 connected to a rocker arm 4 which is actuated by a push rod 3a.
This arrangement of the rotor blade adjustment results in a simple construction of the rotor head; the push rods are housed in a protected manner in the hollow rotor shaft 2. The arrangement of the swash plate underneath the transmission 1 at the end of the hollow rotor shaft results in an extremely simple transmission mechanism in which the linkage is reduced to a minimum. This results in significantly greater operational reliability and extremely easy maintenance.
