Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf eine Drehtisch-Verpakkungsanlage mit Ziehpresse;
Fig. 2 schematisch die Führung des Folienbandes in der Ziehpresse, in Draufsicht;
Packaging system with a drawing press for manufacturing the packaging containers
The invention relates to a packaging system with a drawing press for producing the packaging containers to be filled and closed on the system, in particular from aluminum foil.
Modern packaging systems for filling, lidding and closing require large quantities of packaging containers that are fed to the individual stations one after the other with the help of a turntable or a transport trough chain. When using packaging containers made of aluminum foil, previously otherwise prefabricated containers have been used, which are stored in a magazine provided on the packaging system and unstacked from this when the system is in operation.
Previous attempts to avoid the disadvantages associated with the prefabrication of packaging containers from aluminum foil (additional operating personnel, transport of the containers, refilling of the magazines, etc.) by using the drawing presses used to manufacture containers from aluminum foil as a work station in or directly on the Packaging system designed, were unsuccessful, among other things because the orderly removal of the containers from the drawing press and their orderly supply into the system encountered difficulties, especially if it is a system with multiple stations on which each work cycle several containers can be processed at the same time.
To solve the problem of eliminating the disadvantages mentioned, according to the invention a packaging system with a drawing press for producing the packaging containers to be filled and closed on the system from, in particular, aluminum foil, the special features of which are that with the drawing press known per se from one of a roll of film strip conveyed step by step by rollers, several round blanks are simultaneously punched out in the longitudinal direction of the strip and these are deformed to form the packaging containers, so that the advance of the film strip for the subsequent work cycle of the drawing press is terminated before the finished, deformed packaging containers are removed from the ones above the film strip Drawing tools of the drawing press are ejected,
and that the packaging containers that hit a smooth piece of the film strip after being ejected are fed in a targeted and orderly manner to a transfer device ending at the turntable of the packaging system, unhindered by the punched edges of the circular blank cutouts. In a further embodiment of the invention, a transfer device is proposed for the case that the packaging containers are ejected with their opening facing downwards, the special feature being that the transfer device consists of as many guide channels as packaging containers are made at the same time, and that the guide channels which are arranged with their one end in the vicinity of the tools of the drawing press and with their other end above the turntable, are curved downwards by about 1800 in the area of their other end.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is described in more detail below. Show it:
1 shows a plan view of a rotary table packaging system with a drawing press;
FIG. 2 schematically shows the guidance of the film strip in the drawing press, in plan view; FIG.
Fig. 3 schematically the guidance of the film strip in the drawing press, in section.
On the circumference of a step-by-step operated turntable 1 with recesses 2 for receiving packaging containers 3, fixed work stations are arranged, namely in addition to a filling station 10, a lid station 11, a closing station 12 and a removal station 13, a drawing press 14. With the help of the drawing press 14, a Aluminum foil strip 16, which is pulled from a roll (not shown) and gradually conveyed through the drawing press 14 by means of conveyor rollers 17, circular blanks 18 are punched out and formed into the packaging containers 3.
The drawing press 14 is designed in such a way that three round blanks 18 are punched out and deformed at the same time with each work cycle, namely in such a way that the deformed containers 3 have a flanged edge 4 and are ejected with their opening downward from that part of the drawing tools 15 of the drawing press 14 are - preferably with a compressed air surge indicated by arrow A in Figure 3 - which is located above the film strip 16 after the deformation process.
Appropriate control of the conveyor rollers 17 ensures that the film strip 16 is conveyed further by a working length and has already come to a standstill when the containers 3 are ejected from the tool 15, as shown in Figure 2, in which the rest of the film strip 16 with the cutouts 19 left after punching out the blanks 18 can be seen.
As a result, the containers 3 ejected from the tool 15 come to rest on a completely smooth piece of the film strip 16, from which they can be conveyed away in a targeted and orderly manner without obstruction through the edges of the cutouts 19. In the exemplary embodiment selected here, the containers 3 deposited on the smooth film strip 16 are conveyed directly onto the turntable 1, for which purpose a transfer device 20 is provided.
This transfer device 20 consists of three guide channels 21, which are arranged with their one end 22 in the vicinity of the drawing press 14 that the containers 3 can be pushed into them, e.g. B. with the aid of a blast of compressed air from nozzles 23, which are arranged in the drawing press 14, whereby the blast of compressed air can, incidentally, be triggered before the containers 3 have come to rest on the film strip 16.
The guide channels 21 are curved in their further course at 24 downwards by about 1800 and open with their other end 25 over the turntable 1 in such a way that with each work cycle from each guide channel 21 a container 3 is placed with its bottom on the turntable 1 becomes; there the containers 3 are either conveyed directly into the recesses 2 or they slide into them during the associated switching step. In each guide channel 21 a compressed air nozzle 26 is arranged, which is used to convey the container 3 pushed into the channel.
The advantages achieved with the invention consist mainly in the fact that the production of the packaging containers and their automatic supply is achieved in a satisfactory manner even for extremely efficient packaging systems with multiple stations.
