Upholstered furniture The aim of the invention is to design upholstered furniture in such a way that it can be optionally converted from a seat into a lounger. There should not only be the possibility of conversion, but also a swiveling of the seat or the bed at an angle of 901 without having to move the part standing on the floor.
The upholstered furniture according to the invention is characterized in that a swivel frame that can be swiveled by 90 ' in the frame surface is arranged on a stationary base frame and that at least two pull-out frames are attached to the swivel frame, which can be pushed over for the #seat position and are extendable for lying position, whereby in the extended position the uppermost pull-out frame can be supported by a support that can be folded down.
In the following embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail. Reference is made to the accompanying drawing. In the drawing: Fig. 1 shows the basic structure of upholstered furniture, Fig. 2 and 3 an upholstered furniture designed as a double sofa bed, Fig. 4 the fitting for the rotating frame and Fig . 5 and 6 Representations of the fittings for the attachment and operation of the pull-out frame or the support.
According to FIG. 1, the upholstered furniture shown has a fixed base frame 2 with feet 1. The base frame 2 has approximately a square or almost square frame surface. A rotating frame 3 is fastened to the base frame 2, pivotable by 901 in the frame plane. There are two pull-out frames 4 and 5. The pull-out frames 4 and 5 can, as FIG. 1c shows, with respect to the rotating frame 3 be pulled out a bit. The lower pull-out frame 4 is only partially extended compared to the rotating frame 3 , while the upper pull-out frame 5 is fully extended compared to the lower pull-out frame 4.
For support in the lying position, which FIG. 1d shows, a fold-down support 7 is provided on the upper pull-out frame 5 at the very end of the same. The two pull-out frames 4 and 5 are each assigned approximately the same size, with cushions 8 and 9 . The pad 8 can be firmly attached to the frame 5 .
When the frames are pushed over one another into the seat position according to FIG. 1 a, the two cushions 8 and 9 are folded over one another and form the seat cushion surface. The presence of the rotating frame 3 creates the possibility of extending the bed surface in any direction within the pivoting range, for example in direction 1 (see Fig. 1b) or in direction II , so perpendicular to it. Any intermediate positions are also possible.
FIGS. 2 and 3 show upholstered furniture in the form of a so-called double sofa bed. Two rotating frames 3 are arranged next to one another on a common base frame 2 '. The associated pull-out frames 4 and 5 with cushions 8 and 9 like are located on the respective swivel frame 3 shown in principle in Fig. 1.
A wedge 10 is articulated in the rear wall 6 by means of a hinge 30 . In the sitting position, the wedge 10 is placed upright, as FIG. 2 shows. It lies at the bottom of your seat cushion 9 and with its inclined surface forms a support for a back cushion 3 1. In the lying position, Fig. 3 shows, the wedge 10 is folded down and fills the gap between the cushion 9 and the rear wall 6 . The pad 31 is placed on the wedge as a head pad.
The uppermost pull-out frame 5 in the lying position is supported by the support 7. This is on a handlebar 25 approximately in the middle, on one Hinge point 26 and can rotate around this point in the direction of the arrows shown. Actuation when the pull-out frames 4 and 5 are pushed over one another takes place automatically by a push rod 20. The function of the same will be explained later. In the double bed couch according to FIGS. 2 and 3 are in the position according to Fil-. 2 two seats next to each other.
If the seats are pulled further forwards from this position, two beds are created next to each other, i.e. a so-called double bed. The angular position according to FIG. 3 can be achieved if the rotating frame of the right seat is turned through an angle of 90 ' before pulling out or after pulling out. Instead of a 90 'position, any intermediate position is also possible. Depending on the space available, the right seat can also be pulled out forwards and the left seat pulled out and angled so that an angle is created that is open to the left.
Another option is to turn both seats and pull them out so that the two beds are lengthways.
Fig. 4 shows in principle the fitting for attaching the rotating frame 3 on the base frame 2 or 2 '. It consists of two rails 11 and 12, which are attached in the frame surface of the base frame 2. Two rollers 13 and 14, which are attached to the rotating frame 3 , run in these rails. By running the rollers 13 and 14 from the position shown on the left into the position shown on the right, the pivoting frame can be pivoted by 90 ' or into an intermediate position. The kink in the rail 12 ensures that the upholstery edge does not go beyond the edge of the base frame on this side when pivoting.
This is intended to prevent the cushions from being hindered when pivoting in a double arrangement according to FIGS. 2 and 3.
Fig. 5 shows a section through the side parts of the frame. This shows the fittings with which the frames are attached to one another so that they can be pulled out. 3 The rotating frame, 3a in particular the sides, is part of the same. Opposite this is the side part 4a of the lower pull-out frame. The two side parts 3a and 4a are connected to one another so that they can be pulled out by a rail guide 15 . Extensibility is limited by stops, as shown in FIG. 3, so that the stability between these frame parts is also maintained in the extended position.
The pull-out connection between the lower pull-out frame 4 and the upper pull-out frame 5 takes place again on the tendon parts 4a and 5a. These side parts each have permanently attached rails 4b and 5b . A telescopic part 16. runs freely on these rails or on the rollers of these rails. The arrangement is made by stops so that the pull-out frames 4 and 5 can be fully pulled out.
This is achieved in that the connection through the telescope - ü 16 is established even in the extended position.
In Fig. 6, the fittings for attaching and actuating the support 7 are shown in principle. Fi2. 6a shows the support in the position of use. At its upper end, the support 7 is provided with a roller 23 , which runs in a rail 24 on the underside of the upper pull-out frame 5 . The pivot point around which the support 7 rotates when pivoting in and out is the pivot point 26 at the end of the link 25, which is also below the pull-out frame 5 < / B> be fastened.
The push rod 20 is articulated on the bottom end of the support 7. The other end of the push rod 20 runs with a roller in a rail guide 21 on the underside of the pull-out frame 4.
When being pushed together, a pressure roller 22 on the rotating frame 3 presses from below against the push rod 20, as shown in FIG. 6b. As a result, the push rod 20 is pressed upwards and causes the support 7 to pivot in the direction of the arrows shown around the pivot point 26. The upper end of the support 7 < / B> moves in the rail guide 24. When the pull-out frames are pushed together completely, the supports 7 handlebars 25 and push rod 20 are under the frame. When pulling out the pull-out frame, the support 7 actively moves into the functional position. The rear wall 6 is a fixed part of the rotating frame.
