The invention relates to a method for winding a yarn lap on a Ringzwirnma machine, the ring rail from an initial position in which the twisting ring of a waste bobbin on the spindle opposite under the thread spool, starting to the lower limit of the normal transverse stroke, while at the same time some turns forming a transmission end are placed on the spool so that the normal thread spool is formed thereupon, and that the ring rail finally goes down under the normal transverse stroke and is moved to its starting position,
while at the same time one or more turns forming the beginning thread end are placed on the bobbin end.
It has recently become common practice to provide thread spools with transition ends, sometimes referred to as rat tails. These are yarn ends that protrude from the winding at the lower end and immediately precede the turns of yarn that are laid first and are therefore the closest to the surface of the bobbin.
Such a transition end is used when several yarn packages are to deliver a single running yarn one after the other without interruption.
To prevent that; both the transitional and. the beginning thread end, at which the winding begins to be withdrawn, soiled or damaged during transport and manipulation of the thread package or who are difficult to find, these thread ends are often attached to the bobbin. This can be done by gluing them to the outside or inside of the coil.
It is also possible to fasten the yarn ends in grooves which are provided in the edges of the bobbin.
Both methods have their disadvantages.
In both cases, the fixation of the yarn ends must be done by hand, which is a time-consuming activity in which the yarn ends of the lap can also be dirty. These methods are particularly difficult to carry out when the lap is made on a draw twisting machine.
This is a device for drawing yarns made from a linear polymer. In this case, the ends of the yarn must be attached in such a way that no unstretched pieces of yarn form part of the transition end or the start end of the yarn.
In addition, while the bobbins are being replaced, efforts must be made to keep the yarn twisted in the machines, which makes removing the lap and the careful handling of the transition end and the starting thread end extremely difficult.
Another disadvantage of the above-mentioned known methods for fastening the starting thread end and the transition end of the thread is that it is often not very easy to detach the two thread ends when processing the thread package. In any case, this requires two operations, namely the release of the starting thread end and the detachment of the transition end. The known methods of fastening the two thread ends are therefore time consuming for both the manufacturer and the consumer of the yarn package.
The present invention aims to provide a method for winding a package of yarn which does not have these disadvantages. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the yarn is held at the bottom of the take-up bobbin after the winding process has ended, and:
that the connecting threads of the yarn lap with the waste bobbin with means of the movement that occurs when removing the yarn lap from the twisting spindle, clamped to a fastening member provided on the bobbin and then separated. .
The invention also relates to a ring twisting machine for carrying out the method; with the twisting spindle below the bobbin to be placed on top of the. To catch the coil has projecting and circular disc.
According to the invention, the circular disc is provided with two grooves which are located at an angular distance from one another and which are inclined in opposite directions.
The invention also relates to a thread winding produced according to the method and wound on a bobbin, which is characterized in that the bobbin is provided at one end with a thread fastening element.

26 shows a detail of another embodiment of the twisting spindle, on which a bobbin with a thread winding is attached, in a side view or in section. FIG. 27 is a device for applying adhesive to the thread in the embodiment of FIG. 26, and FIG. 28 shows an embodiment of a device for cutting the connecting threads.
1 shows a detail of the twisting spindle 1, a draw twisting machine with the twisting ring 2 and the rotor 3 movable thereon. A bobbin is seated on three flat contact surfaces 4 of the twisting spindle 1 and consists of an inner sleeve 5 with corresponding contact surfaces and one outer sleeve 6 is made. At the level of the lower edge of the bobbin, the twisting spindle 1 carries a circular disk 7 which is provided with two grooves 8 and 9 which are diametrically opposed to one another and run along two oppositely directed helical lines.
Below the disc 7 a bundle of waste yarn 10 is placed on the spindle 1. At its lower edge, the bobbin is provided with a fastening device 11 on which a bundle of yarn 12 is placed. On the bobbin, a yarn lap 13 is wound up and between the lower end of the lap 13 and the bundle 12 are some turns 14 which form the transition end.
The fastening device 11 is illustrated on a larger scale in Iden Fig. 5 Abis 10, which he knows that it has a back part which protrudes over the circumference of the spool and is substantially T-shaped. In the middle of the T runs axially a Ver recess 15, which divides the vertical trunk of the T into two halves 16 and 17 and the two horizontal arms 18 and 19 separates from each other.
The fastening member 11 also has an arcuate collar 20 tapering to a point on its upper side, which is fastened with its lower part to the two horizontal side arms 18 and 19 and can be fastened to the coil by placing it between the inner sleeve 5 and the outer sleeve 6 inserts. The horizontal side arms 18 and 19 are provided with inclined side surfaces 21 and 22.
On the side of the vertical trunk of the T, the side arms 18 and 19 are formed with clamping surfaces 23 and 24 which run approximately transversely to the longitudinal axis of the coil ver. The undersides of the side arms 18 and 19 have their free ends at a certain distance from the collar 20, so that slots 25 and 26 between the undersides of the horizontal arms and. the upper surface of the bobbin are formed. In the inclined side surfaces 21 and 22 there are depressions 27 and 28. The circular disk 7 of the twisting spindle 1 is provided with inclined side surfaces 29 and 30.
The upper edge of the disc 7 must be opposite the upper inclined surfaces 21 and 22 of the fastening device 11, as can be seen from FIG.
When the twisting machine is started and the yarn is twisted, the twisting ring 2 is in position B and winds the yarn onto a part of the twisting spindle which serves as a waste bobbin, whereby a waste bundle 10 is formed. As soon as the process runs properly, the twisting ring 2 is brought into position A, in which the thread 31 is caught by the groove 9 of the disk 7, slides over the disk 7 and in position 32 onto the bobbin 6 in the form of the bundle dels 12 is wound up.
The spindle 1 rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow and produces leg yarn with an S twist. The bundle 12 w'uid simultaneously placed on the back parts 15 and 17 of the T-shaped fastening device 11 and lies, as it is, against the clamping surfaces 23 and 24 by sliding over the inclined side surfaces 21 and 22, which one Form continuation of the clamping surfaces 23 and 24 respectively. The yarn bundle 12 bridges the recess 15 between the back parts 16 and 17.
After the twisting ring 2 has remained stationary in position A for a short period of time in order to wind up the bundle 12, it is raised, while at the same time some turns 14 are laid, which form a transition end. When the twisting ring 2 has reached the lower limit of the normal transverse stroke, the production of the actual yarn lap 13 begins. However, by using a special construction of the disc 7, it is also possible to lay the bundle 12 without the twisting ring 2 being stationary in position A. remains.
When the yarn package 13 is ready, the twisting ring 2 is brought back down into position B. During this downward movement, a few steep turns 33 are placed on the bobbin, which later form the starting thread end of the winding. When the twisting ring moves from position A to position B, a few additional turns are added to the bundle 12, onto which a few turns slide from the inclined surface 29.
Just before the twisting ring 2 is in position B, the thread 34 is caught by the groove 8, whereupon it jumps into position 35 and is wound onto the waste bobbin. Then the machine can be turned off.
2, 3 and 4 show the situation after the machine has been switched off, with the twisting ring 2 in position B. The thread which connects the waste bundle 10 to the transition end 14 of the roll is in position 36, and the thread which connects the waste bundle 10 to the starting thread end 33 of the roll is in position 37.
When the bobbin with the reel wound on it is moved upwards in the direction of the arrow (FIG. 11) to remove the reel from the machine, the connecting threads 36 and 37 are tensioned. The thread 36 was laid down first and is located under the bundle 12. The thread 37 was laid last on the bundle 12 and is accordingly on top. With further lifting of the coil with the winding who the connecting threads 36 and 37 in. the slots 26 and 25 pulled, whereupon they tear off. The thread 36 is already fixed and is torn off under the bundle 12. Before it is torn off, the thread 37 squeezes itself between the clamping surfaces 23 and 24 and the roll 12.
When the thread 37 breaks in the slot at the point indicated by arrow 38 in FIG. 8, its end remains clamped between the bundle 12 and the clamping surfaces 23, 24.
The end of the initial thread piece 33 and the transition end 14 are now secured with or under the bundle 12. To a free transition end 14 and. To obtain a free starting thread end 33, the user of the thread package only has to cut the bundle 12 (FIGS. 5, 6, 7, 12) with scissors 39 in the recess 15 of the T-shaped back of the fastening device.
13 to 25 show a variant of the yarn package with a fastening element.
13 shows a detail of a twisting spindle 101 of a draw twisting machine with the associated twisting ring 102 and your rotor 103 movable thereon. A bobbin is seated on the three flat contact surfaces 104 of the twisting spindle 101 and consists of an inner sleeve 105, which is provided with corresponding contact surfaces, and an outer sleeve 106.
At the level of the lower edge of the bobbin, the twisting spindle 101 carries a circular disc 107 which is provided with two grooves 108 and 109 which are diametrically opposite one another and which run along two oppositely directed screw lines. The disk 107 is on. their outer circumference strongly rounded. A bundle of waste yarn 110 is placed on the spindle 101 under the disk 107.
At its lower edge the bobbin is provided with a fastening device 111 on which a yarn bundle 112 is placed. A yarn lap 113 is also wound onto the bobbin, and between the lower end of the lap 113 and the bundle 112 are some turns 114 which: form the transition end. It should be noted that a transition end is a yarn end which is located under the yarn package and immediately precedes those yarn turns which are laid first and are therefore closest to the bobbin surface.
The fastening device 111 is shown in FIGS. 18 to 25 on a larger scale, which show that it also has a back part which protrudes over the circumference of the coil and is essentially T-shaped.
In the middle of the T there is an axially recess 115 which divides the vertical stem of the T into two halves 116, 117 and separates the two horizontal arms 118 and 119 from one another. The upper outer surfaces of the two halves 116 and 117 of the vertical trunk fall from the free end of the vertical trunk to the horizonta len arms 118 and 119 downwards.
The guide surface is formed by the surfaces 120 and 121 of a second back part of the fastening device 111, which are arranged on each side of the vertical trunk of the T-shaped back part. The surfaces 120 and 121 also slope towards the horizontal arms 118 and 119.
The fastening device 111 also has a collar 123 tapering to a point at one end, which is fastened on the other side to the two horizontal arms 118 and 119 and can be fastened to the spool by inserting it between the inner sleeve 105 and the outer sleeve 106 is pushed.
The horizontal arms 118 and 119 are provided with beveled side surfaces 124 and 125, respectively. On the side of the vertical trunk of the T, the horizontal arms 118 and 119 are provided with clamping surfaces 126 and 127, which run approximately transversely to the longitudinal axis of the coil. The undersides of the horizontal arms 118 and 119 are located with their free ends at a certain distance from the base surface of the fastening device, so that slots 128 and 129 are formed between the undersides of the horizontal arms and the base surface.
The circular disc 107 of the twisting spindle 101 is seen with inclined side surfaces 130 and 131 ver. The edge 132 of the disk 107 is strongly rounded. On its upper side, the disk 107 must lie opposite the oblique side surfaces 124 and 125 of the fastening element, as can be seen from FIG.
When the twisting machine is started and the yarn is twisted, the twisting ring 102 is in position B and winds the yarn onto a part of the twisting spindle that serves as a waste bobbin, forming a waste bundle 110.
As soon as the process is running properly, the twisting ring 102 is lifted and passes through position A, so that the thread 133 is caught by the groove 109 of the disc 107, slides over the disc 107 and in position 134 onto the bobbin 106 Formation of the bundle 112 is wound.
The spindle 101 rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow and generates a yarn with an S twist. The bundle 112 also contains turns which were laid on the guide surface which is formed by the surfaces 120 and 121 and which slide down along the sloping guide surfaces to the clamping surfaces 126 and 127.
In this way, some turns squeeze each other as they are against the same clamping surfaces 126 and 127, in that the yarn also slides over the inclined side surfaces 124 and 125, which form a continuation of the clamping surfaces 126 and 127, respectively. The yarn bundle 112 bridges the recess 115 between the halves 116 and 117 of the T-shaped back part.
When the twisting ring 102 has passed the fastening device during the upward gear, some windings 114 are placed on the bobbin, which form the transition end. When the twisting ring 102 reaches the lower limit of its normal transverse stroke, the generation of the actual yarn lap 113 begins. The fixation bundle 112 is thus placed without the ring path being stationary at the level of the fastening element. When the thread package 113 has finished eating, the twisting ring 102 is moved down to position B without stopping.
During this downward movement, a few steep turns 135 are placed on the spool, which later form the starting thread end of the lap, and a number of additional turns are added to the bundle 112 by removing a number of turns from the guide surfaces 120, 121 and from the sloping surfaces 124 , 125 slide onto the bundle 112.
Some time before the twisting ring 102 reaches position B, the thread 136 is caught in the groove 108 and then jumps into position 137 in order to be wound onto the waste spool 110. The machine can then be turned off. 13, 14, and 15 show the state after the machine has been switched off, with the twisting ring 102 in position B.
The thread which connects the waste bundle 110 to the transition end 114 of the roll is in position 138 and the thread which connects the waste bundle 110 to the starting thread length 135 of the roll is in position 139.
The thread package with the fastening element according to FIGS. 13 to 25 can be removed from the spindle in a similar manner to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 12.
FIGS. 26 to 28 show further possible embodiments within the scope of the invention.
26 shows schematically only one twisting spindle 201 of a ring twisting machine. The twisting spindle 201 has a circular disc 202 which is provided with two grooves 202 and 204 which extend in opposite directions with respect to the direction of rotation of the twisting spindle. The portion of the twisting spindle under the disc 202 serves as a waste bobbin on which a bundle of fall turns 205 is located. The twisting ring 206 with the rotor 207 movable thereon is shown in three positions A, B and C.
A bobbin 208 is seated on the twisting spindle 201 and at its lower end is provided with one or more axial grooves 209 over which the fixing bundle 210 is placed. Between the bundle 210 and the coil 211 there are some steep turns 212 which form the transition end.
When an empty bobbin 208 is placed on the twisting spindle 201 and the machine has been started, the twisting ring 206 is in position A and the yarn is wound onto the waste bundle 205. As soon as the process proceeds satisfactorily, the twist ring 206 is lifted while some partial turns 212, which form the transition end, are laid. The thread 213, which ties the bundle of waste 205 to the transitional 212, was drawn over the disk 202 in this way.
As soon as the twist ring 206 reaches position C, it begins its normal transverse movement to wind the package 211. When the package 211 is complete, the twist ring 206 is quickly moved down to position B, pulling the yarn onto the package along a length steep helix 214 lays. In the position B, the twisting ring 206 remains stationary for some time for the legend of the winding bundle 210. With the help of the inclined surfaces of the disk 202, it is also possible to lay the bundle 210 without the twisting ring remaining in the Bin rest position.
The last section of the threads of the bundle 210 is brought into contact with the application roller 215, which is shown in FIG. 27, rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow and partially immersed in the adhesive 216 contained in the vessel 217. The application roller 215 is attached to the machine frame (in a manner not shown). The glue can be applied to the thread in a number of ways.
In the device according to FIG. 27, the application roller 215 is arranged exactly above the thread guide 218, the thread 219 forming a balloon above the twisting ring 206. The adhesive causes the turns of the bundle 210 to stick together. The adhesive is preferably a quick-drying latex of the type which only adheres to itself after drying. After the bundle 210 has been laid, the twisting ring 206 is quickly moved further down into its starting position A, the connecting thread 220 being pulled over the disc 202 and the yarn being wound onto the waste bundle 205 again. The machine can then be turned off.
The connecting thread 213 is fixed under the fixing bundle 210, and the connecting thread 220 is connected to the bundle 210 by the adhesive. When the bobbin 208 with the winding 211 wound thereon is removed from the twisting spindle, the connecting threads 213 and 220 are tensioned and caught in the grooves 203 and 204, whereupon they break off.
Instead of an adhesive, it is also possible to use a device (not shown) with the aid of which the threads of the fixation bundle are completely or partially fused together with the aid of heat.
The consumer of a thread package receives a thread package with a free transition end 212 and a free starting thread end 214 after the bundle 210 has been cut off at one of the grooves 209.
28 shows a modified device for severing the connecting threads 213 and 220. For this purpose, the disc 202 of the twisting spindle 201 is provided with a circular groove 221 which is arranged opposite a heated wire 222 or another cutting element.
Before the winding is removed from the spindle, the wire is moved into the channel 221 and back again in the directions indicated by the arrows, the connecting threads being cut off exclusively by machine. If the tearing method is used, the threads need not be so tightly attached to the spool. The manner in which the heated wire 222 is moved back and forth is not @ shown.
