A rivet punch designed as a catch punch for push button presses The present invention is a rivet punch designed as a catch punch for push button presses with a push rod and a hole arranged in the longitudinal axis of the rivet punch for storage of an axially displaceable rivet pin.
In the previous embodiment, a riveting punch consists of a rigid body, the longitudinal axis of which coincides with the extended longitudinal axis of the pressure rod ge and which is rigidly connected to the end of the pressing side opposite to the pressure rod. In this rigid stamp body, the rivet pin is mounted sliding tend centrally and coaxially with the push rod. The pressing surface, which delimits the end of the stamp body opposite the push rod, is designed as a flat, round surface perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the push rod and during the riveting process has only a small contact surface with the concave side of the push button facing the pressing surface. Are z.
If, for example, two snap fastener tops are used in a waistband, one part of which is inserted in the thinner waistband extension and the other in the thicker slit, setting the rivet point (lowest position of the rivet pin tip) is problematic. If the riveting point is set on the thin part in such a way that the upper part of the snap fastener is firmly seated, undesirable deformations of the upper part of the snap fastener occur in the thicker part, which can lead to its inoperability.
Conversely, if the riveting point is set according to the thicker part, the upper part of the snap fastener riveted to the thinner waistband extension sits too loosely in the fabric, which in turn can impair the correct function of the snap fastener part, but above all can lead to a latent risk of it being pulled out.
In order to avoid the deformations of the upper part of the push button in thicker parts that lead to inoperability, pressure compensation springs are installed in the push rod, which take effect in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the push rod. With a pressure compensation spring built into the push rod, the pressing surface is only pressed down until the resistance from the upper part of the push button to be riveted is in equilibrium with the spring force. Since these undesirable deformations are avoided ver.
Due to the effect of this pressure compensation spring, however, the rivet point moves upwards at the same time, so that the spring part is often insufficiently riveted to the rivet part. This often results in failures.
The present invention is based on the object of creating a riveting die which, without changing the riveting point, allows the upper parts of the pushbutton to be firmly seated in both thinner and thicker fabric sections without undesirable deformations occurring on the spring part.
The riveting die according to the invention is characterized by a guide part that can be attached to the push rod and one at which the push rod opposite end of the guide part against the pressure egg ner between guide part and press part is located spring, in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the guide part slidably arranged press part with a concave press surface designed as a press stud mount, which is intended to generate the largest possible contact area with the press stud part, and a central drilling arranged in the press surface for guiding the rivet pin.
In the drawing, an example Ausfüh approximately form of the subject invention is shown.
The riveting die shown as an example has a guide part 1 with a cylindrical shaft 2 and a cylindrical guide 3. The cylindrical shaft 2 is used for the coaxial fastening of the Nietstem pels in the push rod, not shown, and the reception of the rivet pin 4. The rivet pin 4 is movably mounted in a longitudinal bore 5 of the shaft 2 in the axial direction.
At the end opposite the push rod there is a cylindrical guide 3 machined from one piece with the shaft. The guide 3 fits slidingly into the cylindrical inner side of the pressed part 6. In the guide 3, a pressure compensation spring 7 is arranged, against the direction of action Press part 6 is arranged displaceably. The Füh tion 3 and the pressing part 6 are ben 10 by guide screws, which are mounted with a thread fit in the pressing part 6 and engage in the elongated openings 8 of the guide 3, connected.
The pressing part 6 has a pressing surface 9 designed as a pressure button part mount, which is designed in a concave manner, and has a central bore 11 for the rivet pin 4 to pass through. This hole is used to guide the rivet pin. The pressing surface 9 is adapted to the shape of the snap fastener part 12 so that the largest possible contact surface is created between the snap fastener part 12 and the pressing surface 9.
If, for example, a snap fastener part is inserted into a thick layer of material, the pressure compensation spring and the large contact area between the pressing surface 9 and the spring part 12 do not result in any local load peaks and thus no undesirable deformations before and during the riveting process. The pressure button part 12 can result in the direction of action of the pressure compensation spring and the rivet pin 4, so that even with thick fabrics a perfect riveting takes place without the push button part being impaired in its functionality or its original shape.
