Practice shooting devices for handguns Practice shooting devices for handguns are known. They generally have the advantage that they can be fired regularly with relatively small-caliber ammunition using normal handguns for training purposes, whereby the low propellant charges and mostly also low penetration power and noise generation mean that firing can be carried out in a limited space. All previously known practice shooting devices have the disadvantage that they have to be dismantled or dismantled.
Modifications to the handgun need to be made. As a rule, such devices are so-called deployment barrels, which are inserted into the barrel of the handgun. Another disadvantage of these known devices is that the handgun itself becomes soiled during practice shooting and that it is therefore practically necessary to clean it as in normal shooting. Furthermore, these missions require the use of loading heads and thus time-consuming loading and unloading operations.
The invention relates to a practice shooting device for handguns, in particular for the Swiss assault rifle, which is characterized in that it has a barrel that is independent of the handgun and a lock that is independent of the handgun, and that it is equipped with a clamping device outside the barrel The handgun can be attached in such a way that the normal aiming device of the handgun can also be used during practice shooting with the practice shooting device, and that the trigger of the practice shooting device extends into the area of the trigger of the handgun when the former is clamped on the latter.
This new type of practice shooting device has the advantage that it can be used for practice shooting as with the operational barrels, but that all the disadvantages of the previously known devices are eliminated because it is a completely independent small weapon which can be mounted on the conventional hand-held gun by means of a jig can be mounted, aiming with the aiming device - the handgun, operating the trigger of the practice shooting device, which is located in the area of the handgun trigger,
and the practice shooting device loads and unloads independently with its own loading device like a normal weapon.
The practice shooting device can be operated with any ammunition, depending on its design. As a rule, it is operated with rimfire chambers, whereby advantageous results are achieved for distances of 4-12 m with 4 mm caliber and for distances of 50 and more m with 5.5-9 mm caliber. The shooting device can be designed to be automatic (also for series fire), semi-automatic or for single shot. It can also be designed as an air rifle or as a CO2 gas pressure rifle.
In any case, it will represent a device that is independent of the handgun with regard to loading, unloading, that is to say with regard to breech, trigger, etc. and with regard to the barrel, that is to say with regard to the shot.
In the following, for example, a device designed with particular reference to the Swiss assault rifle will be described, reference being made to the figures of the drawing.
Fig. -1 shows a side view from the left of the embodiment described in more detail below.
FIG. 2 shows a front view of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 shows the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 from the left, mounted on the assault rifle and Fig. 4 shows this embodiment, mounted on the assault rifle, seen from above.
The reference symbols have the same meaning in all figures.
The embodiment of the practice shooting device described here has a barrel 1 with an associated locking system 2, the barrel being pivotably mounted on all sides by means of barrel fork 12, barrel retaining nut 11 and U-disks 6 inserted between barrel fork and mounting plate 3.
The rear end of the locking system 2 is in turn firmly connected to the pivot piece 13; which can be moved laterally on the mounting plate, wag is accomplished by means of side adjustment screw 8, which is screwed in and out in a thread of the pivot piece 13; that it touches the threaded part of the side locking screw 7:
The - side blocking
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The screw 7 runs in a threaded hole in the fastening plate 3 and serves to press the swivel piece 13 immovably onto the fastening plate 3 when it is tightened. If the barrel is to be adjusted laterally with respect to the fastening plate, this can be done by loosening the side locking screw 7 and actuating the side adjusting screw 8. This makes it possible to make lateral corrections without having to adjust the aiming device of the assault rifle.
The height adjustment is carried out in an analogous manner using the height adjustment screw 9. Once the device has been shot in for a certain distance, it no longer needs to be shot in when it is used again, as it is always clamped in the same way and stationary on the assault rifle by the clamping device.
The following components of the clamping device belonging to the practice shooting device are used for clamping: The fastening plate 3 has a downwardly protruding extension 15 which forms the right vise jaw mentioned in the above definition and has a rib 16 lying parallel to the fastening plate 3, which into the The bolt handle groove of the assault rifle fits.
If this rib 16 is inserted in the bolt handle groove, it also prevents a loading movement from being carried out with the bolt handle, which is useful for safety in practice shooting. The underside of the fastening plate 3 is designed in such a way that it rests against the upper part of the bolt box of the assault rifle and thus largely ensures the fixed position, which is largely provided by the jaw 15 with the rib 16.
On the left side, the mounting plate 3 is continued downwards at a right angle, with a threaded hole for the hand screw 5 being contained in this extension so that the clamping piece 4 acting as the left jaw of the vise is parallel to the hand screw (5) from the vice spindle The underside of the mounting plate 3 can be moved horizontally and when the hand screw 5 is tightened, it is pressed against the left side of the assault rifle breech block.
As a result of its profiling, the clamping piece 4 engages with the reinforcing ribs on the left side of the lock box of the assault rifle, so that as a result of this engagement and the engagement of the rib 16 in the bolt handle groove, the practice shooting device is immovably mounted on the assault rifle.
The immovability against longitudinal displacement is given by the two ends of the said rib 16, since they are flush with the ends of the bolt handle groove, but at least at the rear end thereof. To assemble and disassemble the practice shooting device, you only have to tighten or loosen the hand screw 5 accordingly and put on or remove the device.
As can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 4, the sight line of the assault rifle (compare sight 14) is left free laterally and vertically, so that shooting can be carried out unhindered without having to use a special aiming device.
The trigger 10 of the practice shooting device (Figures 1, 2 and 3) is designed in this way; that it is in the same position as the winter trigger of the assault rifle, even if it is shifted laterally parallel to the right, which is particularly clear in FIG. 3. By appropriately designing the trigger characteristics of the practice shooting device, the trigger feeling can be conveyed, as with the normal triggering of the assault rifle (usually with the characteristics of the winter trigger).
Of course, the device could also be mounted further down, but then there would be the risk of shooting yourself in the left hand. Mounting directly above the barrel would be undesirable because of the impairment of aiming with the normal aiming device (visibility impairment). For people who shoot with their left eyes open, mounting on the left side of the rifle is out of the question.
In addition, the trigger on the left side would be at the top left when mounting, which must be undesirable because the index finger of the right hand is used to pull the trigger, and the loading movement usually carried out with the right hand when loading the exercise device would be with all other mounting methods than the one shown uselessly difficult.
