Shut-off and control devices, in particular for traffic control, shut-off devices in the form of band-shaped planks are known. As a rule, these are not able to cope with the stresses that occur in practical use, especially when people come up against them, intentionally or unwillingly. In part, this is due to the fact that the connection of the planar links to the suspension is too rigid and the loads can have local effects.
The present invention is a shut-off and control device, especially for traffic control. According to the invention, the same is characterized in that the longitudinal ends of the flexible planar surfaces are hinged directly to the struts, which hang loosely on cable pulls, so that when impacts occur, the struts on the cable pulls slide and the lengthwise ends of the plan are flat to move the struts.
In the drawing, for example, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely: Fig. 1 is a partial view of the guide structure attached to one end of a holding post, Fig. 2 is a horizontal partial section of the guide structure along line II-II in Fig. 1, on a larger scale , FIG. 3 shows a variant of an intermediate member of the guide structure, FIG. 4 shows a cross-section along line IV-IV in FIG. 3, on a larger scale,
and FIG. 5 shows a second embodiment of the guide structure. The device has flat surfaces 1 for the acceptance of labels of all kinds, which are hinged to vertical struts 2 by means of connecting loops 1 '(Fig. 1 and 2), which are provided at the longitudinal ends. The struts 2 are expediently made of plastic pipe pieces, which are filled in the illustrated case with a wood core 2 '. The struts 2 connecting two successive planar surfaces to one another are penetrated by cables 3 at the top and bottom, so that the former hang loosely on the latter.
The cable runs form the actual carrier for the struts and the planar surfaces, which latter two parts provide a guiding structure that can be rolled up. The flat surfaces 1 are kept alternately wide and narrow, for example, and their ends interlock with one another. The struts 2 connect these flat surfaces by means of the loops l 'articulated with one another. The flat surfaces consist of a weatherproof plastic skin. The cable pulls 3 are self-contained at both ends of the guiding structure and joined together at one end by a knot. The end loops 3 'of the cable pulls are fastened to holding posts 4 fastened in the ground by means of hooks, as can be seen from FIG.
The flat surfaces 1 are provided with painted or sprayed information or advertising lettering. According to Fig. 3, the label can also be attached interchangeably. For this purpose, receiving pockets 6 made of transparent material are attached to one or both flat sides of the flat surfaces 1, into which inscribed information strips 7 made of elastic-flexible material are inserted from one longitudinal side in an exchangeable manner. In the case shown, the Hin white strip has a direction arrow; but it could also be a place name.
If people, vehicles or winches hit the device described, the stress is relatively high. The impacts can now be absorbed by sliding the struts on the cables. Furthermore, the ends move respectively. the loops 1 'around the struts, so that gravitational forces on the plan areas are largely ineffective, which means that damage can normally be avoided.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 5 differs from that according to FIG. 1 in that the longitudinal sides of the flat surfaces do not run parallel in order to be more attractive to the eye. They are tapered at one end, the tapered ends of the plane surfaces engaging in the recess of the correspondingly forked, wide ends. The flat surfaces are designed alternately in two or more colors to enhance the contrast. According to Fig. 5, the plane surfaces are trapezoidal. The rectangular planar surfaces, e.g. B. according to Fig. 1 could be kept in color contrasts to each other.
The contrasting colors are an infallible eye catcher.
The barrier and control device described is suitable for all types of barrier and traffic control purposes, in particular for use as a safety barrier on ski slopes, bobsleigh and toboggan runs, racing fields, sports fields and on construction sites, etc .; also as a control signal for the security service in road traffic, in parking lots, exhibition areas, at meetings, festive events, etc.
