Clamp lock for the exchangeable knives on disc-shaped cutter heads The invention relates to a clamp lock for the exchangeable knives on disc-shaped cutter heads.
A cutter head is known in which the knives, which usually have a trapezoidal shaft, and in a section of the knife head body having a corresponding shape of this shaft are guided by an acting as a Klemmvor direction, an eccentric form aufwei send disc that is also stored in the cutter head, be clamped.
However, this solution has the disadvantage that the clamping disk is loosely placed in the cutter head body and is only fixed and held in place together with the cutter used. It therefore happens that these eccentric disks are inserted incorrectly or are lost.
The purpose of the present invention is to create a clamp closure in which this disruptive disadvantage is excluded from the outset.
This clamp fastener is characterized according to the invention in that a clamping disk acting as a Klemmkör by is provided, which is provided with a thread on the non-eccentric part of its circumference, and which is mounted in a corresponding threaded hole in the cutter head body.
This solution also has the advantage that the self-locking of the lock, which forms a safeguard against loosening caused by vibrations, is significantly increased, on the one hand due to the much larger contact surface between the clamping disc and cutter head body thanks to the threads, and on the other hand through the axial friction value, as an axial contact pressure is exerted by turning the clamping disc.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. It shows: FIG. 1 a part of the side view of a disk-shaped cutter head with exchangeable knives, the clamping disk here in a non-clamping, i.e. H. the lateral insertion of the knife is located; FIG. 2 shows a horizontal section along the line II-II in FIG. 1; 3 shows a section along the line III-III in FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 shows the construction according to FIG. 1, but with the clamping disc in the clamping position.
It denotes 1 the exchangeable knife, each of which has a trapezoidal shaft 2, which sits in a cutout 3 of the same trapezoidal shape of the knife head body 4, which is designed as a disk, and is clamped in this by a clamp fastener 1 hen vorgese a partially eccentric circumference having clamping disk 5, the non-eccentric part of the circumference with an external thread 6 is provided.
The clamping disk 5 is in the cutter head body 4 in a bore 8 with an internal thread 9 adjoining the cutout 3 via a recess 7, or is screwed in. In each clamping disc, a square 10 is incorporated for its rotation in the threaded hole 8 by means of a socket wrench not drawn. Instead of the square hole in the clamping disc 5, an appropriately trained pin could of course also be arranged.
The recesses 11 in the cutter head body 4 and the transverse groove 12 provided in the disk 5, together with the recess 7, allow the knife 1 to be installed and removed after the clamping disks 5 have been rotated so that the groove 12 is directly below the recess comes to rest.
The knife 1 has on the lower part of the shaft 2 an extension 13, the free end of which in loading operating position cooperates with the eccentric section 14 of the clamping disc. Such an operating position is shown in FIG. 4.
The clamp fastener can be released very quickly to remove the. Replace the knife. . The knives 1 are just as quickly tightened again.
An adjustment of the knife 1 in the knife head body 4 is not necessary, as the knife inserted into the cutouts 3 thanks to their trapezoidal shaft 2 and the corresponding shape of the cutouts from themselves in the correct radial position. In the axial direction of the cutter head they are fixed immovably through grooves 2 'on the narrow sides of the cutter shaft 2 engaging V-shaped guide combs 3' on the cutout 3 of the cutter head body 4, so that adjustment is not necessary in this direction.
The disc 5 rotated in the clamping position maintains the tight tension of the trapezoidal shaft 2 of the knife 1 in the cutout 3 \ by friction, to which the threaded surfaces 6 in the bore 8 and the 2 points of their eccentric peripheral part on the extension 13 of the shaft are subjected.
