Machine for machining bevel gears with curved or straight tooth profile The subject of the invention is a machine for machining bevel gears with curved or straight tooth profile, in which the tools embody part of the generating face gear and in which a workpiece and a tool stand are arranged on a machine bed.
Regardless of whether the machines mentioned for machining bevel gears are milling, planing or grinding machines, the greatest possible rigidity of the machine structure is desired during the work process. Be it to be able to better absorb the large cutting forces during milling or planing or to switch off unpleasant vibrations during grinding.
It has therefore in known machines this type of the workpiece stand with the tool stand connected by means of a support cross member so as to create a rigid frame during the machining process, but for the purpose of setting the workpiece stand according to the ge desired dimensions of the bevel to be machined wheel can be solved.
This type of stator connection can only be used when machining pinions in the pure rolling process, because the relative position of the tool and workpiece stands to each other is not changed.
But it is also known for the machining of bevel gears, in particular ring gears, other economic working methods in which the rolling feed is preceded by an insert feed to shorten the rolling path.
During this insertion feed, greater stresses naturally occur than during the rolling feed. In spite of this fact, a rigid connection between the workpiece and tool carriers is not possible in the known machines with support crossbeams, since they change their position relative to one another.
The invention is therefore based on the task of bringing the machine structure for bevel gear machines with a machine bed and workpiece and tool stands on it into a shape that allows the slender shape and small contact surface to be used when performing the grooving and rolling process Vibration-endangered workpiece stands must be rigidly supported with the machine bed in a frame-like manner.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that a stationary auxiliary stand is arranged on the machine bed next to the tool stand that can be moved to and fro, which is connected to the workpiece stand via a support traverse, such that the auxiliary stand, support traverse, workpiece stand and machine bed form a closed frame form.
The depth feed is carried out by the tool stand that can be moved back and forth, which is insensitive to vibrations due to its large mass and wide contact surface.
In the drawings, a preferred exemplary embodiment according to the inventive concept is shown schematically. 1 shows the front view of a bevel gear cutting machine, FIG. 2 shows a top view of this machine, FIG. 3 shows a section along line A-B in FIG. 1. On the machine bed 1, the tool stand 3 is on guide tracks 2 in Direction of arrow 4 mounted back and forth movable and takes on its front side the tools 5, which consist of two cutters in the Darge presented example, which represent egg NEN tooth of the generating face gear.
In addition to the tool stand 3, an auxiliary stand 6 is fixed on the machine bed 1 Ma. On the machine bed 1 there are also guide tracks 7 on which the workpiece stand 8 is pivotably mounted about the point J. The workpiece stand 8 and the auxiliary stand 6 are connected by a support cross member 9, so that the auxiliary stand 6, the support cross member 9, the workpiece stand 8 and the machine bed 1 form a closed framework.
The support traverse 9 is hydraulically or mechanically clamped to the auxiliary stand 6 and the workpiece stand 8 in any suitable manner, not specifically shown. After the workpiece stand 8 has been pivoted to the workpiece foot or partial cone angle around point J, the support traverse 9 is jammed with the auxiliary stand 6 and workpiece stand 8, the workpiece 10 is located in the plane of the rigid frame thus formed,
which is machined vibration-free by the reciprocating tool stand 3 with any desired working method in a variable sequence of plunge feed and rolling feed.
Of course, circular or spiral cutter heads, planing steels and grinding wheels are also conceivable for machining the workpiece, without leaving the concept of the invention.
