führt also viel Wärme an die Aufspannplatte ab.
Die beiden Heizkörper für das Zwischenstück und die Einspritzdüsenscheihe können zweckmässig durch ein Regelgerät periodisch gesteuert werden, um Überheizung auszuschliessen. Derartige Regelge räte sind ;bekannt. Sie lassen ;es zu, ;
Die casting machine for processing zinc or similar metal alloys The invention relates to a die casting machine for processing zinc or similar metal alloys with a hot chamber, in which the liquefied metal is melted in a crucible and the necessary amount for the next process is conveyed and conveyed by means of a pump piston is transferred through a pipeline into the .g closed form.
The two mold halves of a known die-casting machine are attached to a mounting plate of a machine frame, one of which, facing the crucible, is stationary and the other is arranged longitudinally movable. The longitudinally movable mold half carries a water-cooled nozzle that extends into a conical, somewhat larger space:
half of the other shape so that the sprue is formed between these two bodies. As part of the movable mold half, this sprue is often the source of interference for an automatic machine activity, because the liquid metal inside the injection nozzle disc cools down, which in:
the clamping plate is mounted and which has a camber-like recess on its back, in which the corresponding front end of a tubular intermediate piece is supported by:
the Ida's liquid metal supplied by wind. This intermediate piece must be inclined downwards by about 5, so that any metal that remains after each work step, but which has lost its temperature, can flow back into the crucible or is sucked back there by the next pumping process. The injector disc! Has a thickness of about 5 cm,
so dissipates a lot of heat to the platen.
At. In the known pressure casting machines of this type, the tubular intermediate piece, which is also strongly formed, wounded: heated by an open gas burner to keep the liquid metal at temperature, the flame path also including the injection nozzle disk:
e recorded and heated. He heating by gas burners is very energy-consuming, especially in places where no gas supply is available and instead: whose bottled gas such as propane must be used. The fact that the parts to be heated are only hit by the individual bundles of rays of the burner in terms of zones, so that there are areas of different degrees of heat alternate with one another also bothers.
Occasionally, the production of particularly sensitive parts suffers from this, because pores then easily form in the surface layer of the product, which require more complex post-processing. But also the fact (that such a large flame needs a lot of oxygen has harmful effects on the health of: the worker working on the machine.
The invention consists in that the heating takes place electrically, namely by the fact that on the circumference of the tubular intermediate piece in a serpentine groove track an electrical resistance is attached, while the injection nozzle @ disc is hollow on its back and with a around, the dome: U-shaped recess is provided around the ledge, in which a resistor is also inserted.
In this way, it is possible to create the separation point between the cold cast iron on the one hand and the liquid metal inflow on the other in: the injection nozzle disk and thus in the dome-shaped connection for:
to relocate the receptacle of the intermediate piece, so that the sprue can be safely removed without any resistance when the shape is opened. In practice it has been shown that in this way the same faults that have occurred can be eliminated, which occurred specifically for the reason
because the liquid metal co-colded in this inclined admission area of the intermediate piece.
The two heating elements for the intermediate piece and the injection nozzle row can expediently be periodically controlled by a control device in order to prevent overheating. Such control devices are known. You admit;
the heating times. Set @ so that every need can be taken into account, which depends on the result to be produced.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an execution example.
FIG. 1 shows a part of the printing machine, partially in section, and FIG. 2 shows the rear view or injection nozzle disc in approximately natural size.
The stationary platen 1 receives in an opening la .the injection nozzle disk 2, which has a dome-shaped recess 2a on its rear side, into which the opening 2b, which narrows conically in this direction, opens.
In this dome-shaped recess 2a, the correspondingly curved front end of the tubular intermediate piece 3 is supported, through the opening of which the liquid metal arrives through the injection nozzle disc 2 in the form not shown, namely thrust @ g- promotes through the pump,
which during its backward stroke i the remaining amount of the liquid metal from the intermediate piece 3 back, augl, which is anyway on a slope.
A projection of the movable mold half penetrates into the conical opening 2b of the injection nozzle disk 2, so that the sprue is created at this point when the molding cools down.
The intermediate piece 3, which has a relatively large wall thickness, has a channel on its circumference in the form of a serpentine line into which the heating resistor is inserted, or z.
B.: by; from insulating material existing pearls against the intermediate piece 3 is isolated. After this resistor is stored, a layer of insulating material is applied in the usual way and enclosed by a housing 3 '. The injection nozzle disk 2 # is provided on its rear side with a correspondingly spiral groove 2c,
in which such an electrical resistance is also inserted, what also here or cavity filled with an insulating material and: is closed by a cover 2 '.
The electrical supply lines 2x, 3x are led to a controller 4, which works as a time controller, i. H. The power supply opens and; closes within adjustable limits in order to prevent overheating in this way based on empirical values.
This ensures that the sprue only extends as far as approximately into the center plane of the injection nozzle disk 2 when it is formed by cooling, so that the metal within the recess 2a still remains liquid.
